1 Khohmuen pang ham na BOEIPA Pathen loh nang n'khuen tih na kun thil vaengah Khitti neh Girgashi khaw, Amori neh Kanaani khaw, Perizzi neh Khivee khaw, Jebusi neh nang lakah aka tlung aka ping namtu parhih te na mikhmuh lamkah muep a biit.
When Yahweh thy God shall bring thee into the land which thou art going in to possess, and shall clear away many nations from before thee—the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites, and the Canaanites and the Perizzites, and the Hivites and the Jebusites—seven nations greater in number and stronger than thou;
2 Amih te na BOEIPA Pathen loh nang taengla han tloeng vaengah ngawn lamtah thup rhoe la thup. Amih neh moi khaw bop boeh. Amih te rhen boeh.
and Yahweh thy God shall deliver them up before thee, and thou shalt smite them, thou shalt devote them to destruction, thou shalt not solemnise with them a covenant neither shalt thou shew them favour;
3 Amih neh yuva uh thae boeh. Na canu khaw a capa taengla pae boeh. A canu khaw na capa ham loh pah boeh.
neither shalt thou intermarry with them, —thy daughter, shalt thou not give unto his son, nor his daughter, shalt thou take for thy son;
4 Na capa te kai hnuk lamloh nong tih pathen tloe rhoek taengah tho a thueng mai ni. Te vaengah BOEIPA kah thintoek loh nang taengah sai vetih nang te tlek m'mitmoeng sak ni.
for he will turn aside thy son from following me, and they will serve other gods, —so shall the anger of Yahweh kindle upon you, and he will destroy thee, speedily.
5 Tedae amih taengah na saii ham ngawn tah amih kah hmueihtuk te phil pah lamtah kaam te khaw boh pah. Amih kah Asherah te vung pah lamtah a mueidaep te hmai neh hoeh pah.
Verily, thus, shall ye do unto them: Their altars, shall ye tear down, And their pillars, shall ye break in pieces, —And their sacred stems, shall ye hew down, And their carved images, shall ye burn up in the fire.
6 Nang tah na BOEIPA Pathen ham aka cim pilnam la na om tih diklai hman kah pilnam boeih khuiah pilnam lungthen la amah taengah om ham ni na BOEIPA Pathen loh nang n'coelh.
For a holy people, art thou unto Yahweh thy God: of thee, hath Yahweh thy God, made choice, that thou shouldest become his people as a treasure, above all the peoples that are on the face of the ground:
7 Pilnam boeih lakah na pungtai dongah nangmih te BOEIPA loh m'ven moenih. Pilnam boeih lakah na hlangsii uh dongah ni nangmih te n'coelh.
not because ye were more in number than any of the peoples, did Yahweh become attached to you and make choice of you, —for, ye, were fewer than any of the peoples;
8 Tedae na BOEIPA kah lungnah loh na pa rhoek taengah a caeng olhlo te a ngaithuen dongah BOEIPA loh tlungluen kut neh nang n'khuen tih Egypt manghai Pharaoh kut dongkah sal im lamkah nang te n'lat coeng.
but because Yahweh loved you and because he would keep the oath which he sware unto your fathers, did Yahweh bring you forth with a firm hand, —and redeem thee out of the house of servants, out of the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Te dongah BOEIPA na Pathen, Pathen amah kah a paipi te a cak la aka ngaithuen neh amah aka lungnah tih a olpaek te a olpaek bangla aka ngaithuen taengah cadilcahma thawngkhat duela sitlohnah Pathen la om tila ming lah.
So then, thou must know that, Yahweh thy God, he, is God, —the faithful GOD, keeping his covenant and his lovingkindness with them that love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations
10 Tedae amah aka hmuhuet te a mikhmuh ah a thuung vetih milh sak ham khaw uelh mahpawh. Anih aka hmuhuet te tah a mikhmuh ah a thuung ni.
but requiting them who hate him unto his face to destroy them, —he will not be slack towards him that hateth him, unto his face, will he requite him.
11 Te dongah kai loh tihnin ah nang kang uen olpaek neh oltlueh khaw, laitloeknah khaw na vai ham te ngaithuen.
So shalt thou keep the commandment and the statutes and the regulations, which I am commanding thee to-day, to do them.
12 Laitloeknah he na yaak coeng dongah ngaithuen lamtah vai laeh. Te daengah ni BOEIPA na Pathen loh nang taengkah paipi neh na pa rhoek taengah a toemngam sitlohnah te a ngaithuen eh.
Then shall it come to pass if ye will hearken unto these regulations, and keep and do them, then will Yahweh thy God keep with thee the covenant and the lovingkindness which he sware unto thy fathers;
13 Nang n'lungnah vetih na yoe han then sak ni. Nang taengah paek ham na pa rhoek taengah a caeng khohmuen ah nang te n'rhoeng sak vetih na bungko thaihtae neh na khohmuen thingthaih na cangpai khaw, na misur thai neh na situi khaw, na saelhung saelca neh na boiva khuikah suentae thai khaw yoethen a paek ni.
and will love thee, and bless thee and multiply thee, —and bless the fruit of thy body and the fruit of thy ground thy corn and thy new wine and thine oil the young of thy kine and the ewes of thy flock, upon the soil which he swart unto thy fathers to give unto thee.
14 Pilnam rhoek boeih lakah yoethen la na om vetih na khuiah caya neh na rhamsa dongah khaw aka ting khaw om mahpawh.
Blessed shalt thou be beyond all the peoples, —there shall not be in thee a barren male or female, nor among thy cattle;
15 BOEIPA loh nang taengkah tlohtat boeih te a khoe vetih Egypt kah tloh thae na ming boeih long khaw nang m'phoei mahpawh. Tedae na lunguet rhoek boeih te tah a phoei ni.
and Yahweh, will turn away, from thee, all disease, —and as for all the sore sicknesses of Egypt which thou knowest, he will not lay them upon thee, but will put them upon all who hate thee;
16 Te dongah BOEIPA na Pathen loh nang taengah m'paek pilnam boeih te hlawp lamtah na mik long khaw amih te rhen boel saeh. Nang taengah hlaeh la aka om amih kah pathen rhoek taengah khaw thothueng boeh.
and thou shalt devour all the peoples whom, Yahweh thy God, is delivering up unto thee, thine eye shall not look with pity upon them, neither shalt thou serve their gods, for a snare, would it be unto thee.
17 Na thinko nen tah, 'Kai lakah aka ping namtu rhoek he huul ham metlam ka coeng thai eh,’ na ti mai ngawn ni.
Although thou mightest say in thy heart: More in number, are these nations than I, —how can, I dispossess them?
18 BOEIPA na Pathen loh Pharaoh taeng neh Egypt pum taengah a saii te poek rhoe poek lamtah amih te rhih boeh.
thou must not be afraid of them, —thou must, remember, what Yahweh thy God did, unto Pharaoh and unto all Egypt:
19 Na mik loh noemcainah muep a hmuh phoeiah miknoek, kopoekrhai, tlungluen kut neh ban a yueng tih BOEIPA na Pathen loh nang n'khuen coeng. Te vanbangla a mikhmuh ah nang loh na rhih pilnam rhoek boeih te khaw BOEIPA na Pathen loh a saii ni.
the great provings which thine own eyes saw, and the signs and the wonders and the firm hand and the stretched-out arm, wherewith Yahweh thy God brought thee forth, —so, will Yahweh thy God do unto all the peoples, before whom thou art afraid.
20 Aka sueng rhoek neh na mikhmuh lamkah aka ying rhoek te a milh duela BOEIPA na Pathen loh amih taengah khoingal a tueih bal ni.
Moreover also, the hornet, will Yahweh thy God send among them, —until they are destroyed who are left remaining, and who are hiding themselves from thy face.
21 BOEIPA na Pathen tah nang dongah boeilen Pathen neh a rhih a om coeng dongah amih hmai ah na sarhing sak boeh.
Thou shalt not be affrighted at their presence, —for Yahweh thy God in thy midst is a Go great and to be revered.
22 Namtom rhoek te khaw BOEIPA na Pathen loh na mikhmuh lamkah vawlh vawlh a biit bitni. Amih te thup koeloe ham coeng mahpawh, na taengah kohong mulhing la ha pung ve.
So will Yahweh thy God, clear away these nations from before thee little by little, —thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the wild beast of the field should multiply ever thee.
23 Tedae amih te BOEIPA na Pathen loh na mikhmuh ah han tloeng vetih soekloeknah a len neh a mit uh due amih te a pangngawl sak ni.
But Yahweh thy God will deliver them up before thee, —and discomfit them with a great discomfiture, until they are destroyed;
24 Amih kah manghai rhoek te khaw nang kut dongla m'paek vaengah amih ming te vaan hmui ah na milh sak vetih na mikhmuh ah pakhat kangna khaw a pai pawt hilah amih te na mit sak ni.
and will deliver their kings into thy hand and thou shalt destroy their name, from under the heavens, —not a man shall stand before thee, until thou hast destroyed them.
25 Amih kah pathen mueidaep te hmai neh hoeh pah. A pum dongkah sui neh cak khaw nai boeh. BOEIPA na Pathen kah tueilaehkoi te namah ham na lo vetih te long te n'hlaeh ve.
The carved images of their gods, shalt thou consume with fire, —thou shalt not covet the silver and gold upon them to take unto thee, lest thou be ensnared thereby; for the abomination of Yahweh thy God, it is;
26 Na im khuila tueilaehkoi te khuen boeh. Tuei ham koi te na tuei vanbangla yaehtaboeih la na om vetih yaehtaboeih la aka om te khaw na tuei rhoe na tuei ham om.
and thou shalt not bring an abomination into thy house, and so become devoted to destruction, like it, thou shalt, abhor, it, and thou shalt, loathe it, because a thing devoted to destruction, it is.
