Thou shalt not see the ox of thy brother or his sheep, going astray, and turn away from them, —thou shalt, bring them back unto thy brother.
2 Te dongah nang te na manuca neh na yoei pawt tih anih te na ming pawt atah namah im khui la khuen lamtah na manuca loh han tlap tih anih taengla na bal hil namah taengah om saeh.

And, so, shalt thou do with his ass, and, so, shalt thou do with his mantle and, so, shalt thou do with any lost thing of thy brother’s, which shall go astray from him and thou shalt find, —thou mayest not turn away.
4 Na manuca kah laak khaw, a vaito khaw long ah a cungku te na hmuh lalah te lamkah te thuh uh boeh. Anih te thoh rhoela thoh puei.
Thou shalt not see the ass of thy brother or his ox fallen in the way, and turn away from them, —thou shalt, raise, them with him.
5 Tongpa kah hnopai te huta pum dongla om boel saeh lamtah huta himbai te tongpa loh bai boel saeh. Te tla aka saii boeih te BOEIPA na Pathen kah a tueilaehkoi ni.
A woman shall not have on the wearing apparel of a man, nor shall a man put on the mantle of a woman; for an abomination to Yahweh thy God, is any one who doeth these things.
6 Na mikhmuh kah long taengah thing boeih dongah khaw, diklai dongah vaa bu khaw, vapuel neh a duei khaw a tong mai ni. Tedae vapuel so neh a duei soah aka oi a manu khaw a manu te a ca neh lo boeh.
When a bird’s-nest chanceth to be before thee, —in the way, in any tree or upon the ground, whether with nestlings or eggs, and, the mother, be sitting upon the nestlings or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the mother upon the young;
7 Vapuel te namah ham na lo mai cakhaw a manu tah hlah rhoe hlah. Te daengah ni namah ham khaw then vetih na hinglung a vang eh.
thou shalt, let go, the mother, and then, her young, mayest thou take for thyself, —that it may go well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.
8 Im thai na sak atah na imphu ah longkhawn na saii ni. Te daengah ni te lamkah aka cungku loh cungku cakhaw na imphu kah hlang thii na yook pawt eh.
When thou buildest a new house, then shalt thou make a parapet to thy roof, so shalt thou not treasure up blood-guiltiness against thy house, for he that is in danger of falling might fall therefrom.
9 Na misur aka coom te tue boeh. Cangtii na tuh kah a thaihhmin neh misur thaih te na poeih ve.
Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with two sorts of seed, —lest the fulness of the seed which thou sowest, and the increase of thy vineyard be profaned.
10 Vaito neh laak te hmaih bok boeh.
Thou shalt not plough with an ox and an ass together,
11 Tumul neh hlamik a yaep te hmaih bai boeh.
Thou shalt not put on linsey-woolsey, of wool and flax together.
12 Na himbai dongkah a hmoi pali dongah namah loh sihno bang lamtah bai.
Tassels, shalt thou make thee, —on the four corners of thy vesture, wherewith thou dost cover thyself.
13 Hlang pakhat loh yuu a loh tih a kun thil coeng dae a hmuhuet dongah,
When a man taketh a wife, —and goeth in unto her and hateth her;
14 a olka, a khoboe khaw a yuu taengah a tloe la vik a khueh mai ni. Te phoeiah anih te ming thae phueih sak ham a ngaih tih, “Hekah huta he ka loh tih a taengla ka kun vaengah anih he a cuemnah ka hmuh moenih,” a ti thai.
and raiseth against her occasions of speech, and bringeth upon her an evil name, and saith—This woman, I took, and approached her, and found not that she had the tokens of virginity,
15 Te vaengah hula te hula amah kah a napa neh a manu loh lo saeh. Te phoeiah hula te hula kah cuemnah neh khopuei vongka kah patong rhoek taengah thak saeh.
then shall the father of the damsel and her mother take and bring forth the tokens of the virginity of the damsel, unto the elders of the city, in the gate;
16 Te vaengah hula kah a napa loh patong rhoek taengah, “Hekah hlang taengah a yuu la ka canu ka paek dae vik a hnoel.
and the father of the damsel shall say unto the elders, —My daughter, gave I unto this man to wife and he hated her;
17 Te dongah a khoboe neh ol a saii tih, “Na canu te a cuemnah ka hmu pawh,” a ti tarha. Tedae ka canu kah a cuemnah tah he pawn ni,” ti saeh lamtah khopuei patong rhoek kah mikhmuh ah himbai te phaih uh saeh.
and lo! he, hath raised occasions of speech, saying—I found not that thy daughter had the tokens of virginity and yet, these, are the tokens of the virginity of my daughter. And they shall spread out the garment before the elders of the city.
18 Te vaengah tekah hlang te khopuei patong rhoek loh lo uh saeh lamtah toel uh saeh.
Then shall the elders of that city take the man, and chastise him;
19 Anih loh Israel oila te ming thae a phueih sak dongah tangka yakhat neh sah sak uh saeh lamtah hula kah a napa te pae uh saeh. Te daengah anih yuu la om vetih a hing tue khuiah anih te tueih hamla a noeng pawt eh.
and fine him a hundred [shekels] of silver and give unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought an evil name upon a virgin of Israel, and she shall remain his wife, he may not put her away, all his days.
20 Tedae olka he oltak la om tih hula kah hula a cuemnah te a hmuh uh pawt mai ni.
But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found with the damsel,
21 Te vaengah hula te a napa im kah thohka taengla khuen uh saeh. Te phoeiah anih te khopuei kah tongpa rhoek loh lungto neh dae uh saeh lamtah duek saeh. A napa im kah a cukhalh neh Israel khuiah boethae halang a saii. Te dongah boethae na khui lamloh khoe.
then shall they bring forth the damsel into the entrance of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die, because she hath wrought wickedness in Israel, by committing unchastity in her father’s house, —so shalt thou consume the wicked thing out of thy midst.
22 Va loh a yuunah tangtae huta te tongpa loh a yalh puei vaengah a uum atah hlang yuu taengah aka yalh tongpa khaw huta khaw a boktlap la duek saeh. Te dongah boethae tah Israel khui lamloh khoe.
When a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then shall, both, of them die, the man that lay with the woman, and the woman, so shalt thou consume the wicked thing out of Israel.
23 Hula tanu oila te tongpa ham a bae pah coeng dae khopuei khuikah tongpa pakhat loh a hmuh tih a yalh puei mai ni.
When a damsel that is a virgin is betrothed to a husband, —and a man findeth her in the city, and lieth with her,
24 Te vaengah amih rhoi te khopuei vongka la khuen uh. Tekah dumlai dongah hula tanu long khaw khopuei khuiah pang kangna boel saeh. Tongpa khaw a hui kah a yuu te dumlai la a puei dongah lungto neh dae uh lamtah duek saeh. Te dongah boethae tah na khui lamloh khoe uh.
then shall ye bring them, both, out unto the gate of that city, and stone them with stones that they die, the damsel, because she made not an outcry in the city, and the man because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife, —so shalt thou consume the wicked thing out of thy midst.
25 Hlang loh a bae tangtae hula te tongpa pakhat loh kohong ah a uum mai ni. Te vaengah tongpa loh anih te a paco tih a yalh puei atah anih aka yalh puei tongpa amah bueng mah dawk duek saeh.
But if in the field, the man find the betrothed damsel and the man force her and lie with her, then shall the man that lay with her die he alone;
26 Tedae hula taengah tah dumlai saii boeh. A duek ham tueng tholhnah khaw hula taengah a om moenih. Tongpa loh a hui a tlai thil tih a hinglu a ngawn pah vanbangla tahae kah dumlai he khaw om van.
but, unto the damsel, shalt thou do nothing, the damsel, is not guilty of a sin worthy of death, for as when a man riseth up against his neighbour, and smiteth him so as to take away life, so, is this matter;
27 A bae tangtae hula tanu te kohong ah a uum tih tekah hula loh a pang thil lalah anih te a rhun moenih.
for in the field, he found her, —the betrothed damsel, made an outcry, and there was none to save her.
28 A bae hlan hula, tanu, oila te tongpa loh a uum tih a tuuk mai ni. Te vaengah anih a yalh puei a uum uh mai ni.
When a man findeth a damsel that is a virgin who is not betrothed, and layeth hold of her and lieth with her, and they are found,
29 Te vaengah hula kah a napa te hula aka yalh puei tongpa loh tangka sawmnga neh sah saeh. Tedae anih te a puei coeng dongah anih yuu la om saeh. Amah tue khuiah tah anih te hlak hamla a coeng moenih.
then shall the man who lay with her give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, —and she shall be, his, wife, because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away, all his days.
30 Tongpa loh a napa kah a yuu te rhawt boel saeh lamtah a napa kah a mul khaw nawn pah boel saeh.
A man shall not take his father’s wife, —neither shall he turn aside his father’s coverlet.
