and petitioned for letters from him to the synagogues at Damascus; that, if he found any of that way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

and he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?
5 Te dongah, “Nang te ulae Boeipa,” a ti nah hatah, “Kai tah nang loh na hnaemtaek Jesuh ni.
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus, whom you persecute:

And the men who traveled with him, stood astonished; hearing, indeed, the voice, but seeing no one.

Then Saul arose from the earth; and, though his eyes were open, he saw no man; but they led him by the hand, and brought him to Damascus.

14 He ah khaw na ming aka khue rhoek boeih te khih hamla khosoihham rhoek taengkah saithainah a khueh,” a ti nah.
and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all that invoke thy name.

Then Ananias went, and entered into the house; and laying his hands upon him, he said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared to you on the way, as you came, has sent me; that you might receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
18 Te vaengah a mik lamkah te a lip bangla hel khaek, Kho khaw a hmuh dongah thoo tih anih te a nuem,

And all that heard him were astonished, and said, Is not this he who, in Jerusalem, spread desolation among them who called on his name; and came hither on purpose to carry such bound to the chief priests?
