1 Manasseh a manghai vaengah kum hlai nit ni a lo ca pueng tih Jerusalem ah kum sawmnga kum nga manghai. A manu ming tah Hephzibah ni.
Twelve years old, was Manasseh when he began to reign, and, fifty-five years, reigned he in Jerusalem, —and the name of his mother was Hephzibah.
2 BOEIPA loh Israel ca rhoek mikhmuh lamkah a haek namtom rhoek kah tueilaehkoi bangla BOEIPA mikhmuh ah boethae a saii.
And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —after the abominable practices of the nations, whom Yahweh had dispossessed from before the sons of Israel.
3 Mael tih a napa Hezekiah loh a phae hmuensang te a sak. Baal ham hmueihtuk a thoh tih Israel manghai Ahab kah a saii bangla Asherah te a saii. Vaan kah caempuei cungkuem taengah bakop tih te rhoek taengah tho a thueng.
He again built the high places, which Hezekiah his father had destroyed, —and reared altars to Baal, and made a Sacred Stem, as did Ahab, king of Israel, and bowed down to all the army of the heavens, and served them.
4 BOEIPA loh, “Ka ming he Jerusalem ah ni ka khueh eh?,” a ti vanbangla BOEIPA im ah hmueihtuk a suem.
And he used to build altars in the house of Yahweh, —concerning which Yahweh had said, —In Jerusalem, will I put my Name.
5 BOEIPA im kah vongup rhoi ah vaan caempuei cungkuem ham hmueihtuk a suem pah.
And he built altars to all the army of the heavens, —in the two courts of the house of Yahweh;
6 A ca te hmai dongah a kat sak. Kutyaek a sawt tih lung a sawt. Rhaitonghma a dawt tih a mikhmuh ah boethae saii ham neh BOEIPA veet ham te hnam la tlung.
and caused his son to pass through the fire, and practised hidden arts and used divination, and dealt with a familiar spirit and wizards, —he exceeded in doing the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, provoking [him] to anger;
7 Asherah mueithuk a saii te im ah a khueh. Te te BOEIPA loh a ca David taeng neh Solomon taengah tah, “He im khui neh Israel koca cungkuem lamloh ka coelh Jerusalem ah he kumhal duela ka ming ka khueh ni.
and he set the image of the Sacred Stem which he had made, —in the house, of which Yahweh had said unto David, and unto Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my Name, unto times age-abiding;
8 A cungkuem dongah amih ka uen bangla saii ham a ngaithuen uh mak atah a napa rhoek taengah ka paek khohmuen lamloh Israel kah khokan rhaehba sak ham ka khoep mahpawh. Te dongah a cungkuem dongkah olkhueng te ka sal Moses loh amih a uen coeng,” a ti nah.
and I will not again let the foot of Israel wander away from the soil which I gave unto their fathers. Only if they take heed to do according to all that I have commanded them, even to the extent of all the law which, my servant Moses, commanded them.
9 Tedae a ngai uh pawt dongah Manasseh loh amih kho a hmang sak. Te dongah BOEIPA loh Israel ca rhoek mikhmuh lamkah a milh sak namtom rhoek lakah boethae a saii.
But they hearkened not, —and Manasseh led them astray to do the thing that was wicked, more than the nations which Yahweh destroyed from before the sons of Israel.
10 BOEIPA loh a sal, tonghma rhoek kut ah a thui tih,
Yahweh therefore spake through his servants the prophets saying—
11 “Judah manghai Manasseh loh tueilaehkoi a saii vanbangla te rhoek te a mikhmuh kah Amori rhoek loh a saii boeih lakah khaw thae. Te dongah Judah khaw a mueirhol neh a tholh sak.
Because Manasseh king of Judah hath made these abominations—hath done that which is wicked, more than all which the Amorites did who were before him, and hath caused, even Judah, to sin with his manufactured gods,
12 Te dongah ni Israel Pathen BOEIPA loh he he a thui. Kai loh Jerusalem neh Judah soah boethae ka khuen pah coeng. Te te aka ya la aka ya boeih tah a hna rhoi te umya uh bitni.
therefore—Thus, saith Yahweh, God of Israel, Behold me! bringing in calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah, —that, whosoever heareth thereof, both his ears, will tingle;
13 Jerusalem soah Samaria rhilam neh Ahab im kah mikrhael ka toe ni. Bael a huih, a huih tih a hmai long a bueng bangla Jerusalem te ka huih ni.
And I will stretch over Jerusalem, the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab, —and will wipe out Jerusalem, as one wipeth out a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down;
14 Ka rho kah a meet te ka phap vetih amih te a thunkha kut ah ka paek ni. Te vaengah a thunkha cungkuem taengah maeh neh maehbuem la om uh ni.
And will abandon the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies, —and they shall become a prey and a plunder, to all their enemies:
15 Ka mikhmuh ah boethae a saii uh tih a napa rhoek Egypt lamkah a caeh uh khohnin lamloh tahae khohnin hil kai aka veet la om uh,” a ti nah.
Because they have done the thing that is wicked in mine eyes, and have become such as to provoke me to anger, —from the day when their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even until this day.
16 Ommongsitoe thii khaw Manasseh loh muep a long sak aih. Jerusalem a hmoi lamloh a hmoi hil a li sak. Amah kah tholhnah bueng kolla BOEIPA mikhmuh ah boethae saii hamla Judah te a tholh sak.
Moreover also, innocent blood, did Manasseh shed in great abundance, till he had filled Jerusalem, from one end to the other, besides his committing the sins which he caused, Judah, to commit, in doing the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh.
17 Manasseh kah ol noi neh a cungkuem a saii te khaw, a tholhnah neh a tholh te khaw, Judah manghai rhoek kah khokhuen olka cabu dongah a daek uh moenih a?
Now, the rest of the story of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he committed, are, they, not written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
18 Manasseh te a napa rhoek taengla a khoem uh vaengah tah amah im kah dum, Uzzah dum ah a up uh. Te phoeiah a capa Amon te anih yueng la manghai.
And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza, —and, Amon his son, reigned, in his stead.
19 Amon he kum kul kum nit a lo ca vaengah manghai tih Jerusalem ah kum nit manghai. A manu ming tah Jotbah lamkah Haruz canu Meshullemeth ni.
Twenty-two years old, was Amon when he began to reign, and, two years, reigned he in Jerusalem, —and, his mother’s name, was Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz, of Jotbah.
20 A napa Manasseh kah a saii bangla BOEIPA mikhmuh ah thae a saii bal.
And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —as did Manasseh his father;
21 A napa kah a pongpa bangla longpuei cungkuem ah pongpa. A napa kah thothueng bangla mueirhol taengah tho a thueng tih te rhoek taengah bakop.
yea he walked in all the way wherein, his father, had walked, —and served the manufactured gods that, his father, had served, and bowed down to them;
22 A napa rhoek kah Pathen BOEIPA te a hnoo tih BOEIPA kah longpuei ah pongpa pawh.
and forsook Yahweh the God of his fathers, —and walked not in the way of Yahweh.
23 Tedae anih te Amon sal rhoek loh a taeng tih manghai te amah im ah a duek sakuh.
And the servants of Amon, conspired against him, —and slew the king in his own house.
24 Te dongah Amon manghai aka taeng boeih te khohmuen pilnam loh a ngawn. Te phoeiah tah khohmuen pilnam loh a capa Josiah te anih yueng la a manghai sakuh.
Then the people of the land smote all who had conspired against King Amon, —and the people of the land made, Josiah his son, king, in his stead.
25 Amon kah ol noi neh a saii te Judah manghai rhoek kah khokhuen olka cabu dongah a daek uh moenih a?
Now, the rest of the story of Amon, what he did, is, it, not written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
26 Anih te Uzzah dum kah amah phuel ah a up. Te phoeiah a capa Josiah te anih yueng la manghai.
And he was buried in his grave, in the garden of Uzza, —and, Josiah his son, reigned, in his stead.
