< 2 Kawrin 4 >
1 Te dongah mamih ng'rhen tih bibi n'dang uh he n'thathae pawh.
Wherefore, having this ministry, even as we received mercy, we faint not;
2 Tedae yahkoi kah olhuep te n'thaek uh coeng. Pathen kah olka he rhaithinah neh pongpa pawt tih a tuengkhuep moenih. Tedae oltak kah a phoenah lamloh Pathen hmaiah neh hlang rhoek kah mingcimnah cungkuem dongah mah neh mah n'oep uh coeng.
But have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully, —but, by the manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves unto every conscience of men, in the sight of God.
3 Tedae mamih kah olthangthen he muekdah la om ngawn cakhaw aka paci rhoek taengah ni muekdah laa om.
And, even if our glad-message is veiled, in them who are perishing, it is veiled,
4 Ta kumhal kah pathen tah amih ah om tih aka tangnahmueh rhoek kah poeknah te a dael sak. Te vaengah Khrih thangpomnah olthangthen kah khoval te aa voelpawh. Amah tah Pathen kah mueimae ni. (aiōn )
In whom, the god of this age, hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, to the end they may not discern the radiance of the glad-message of the glory of the Christ—who is the image of God. (aiōn )
5 Kamamih kawng pawt tih Jesuh Khrih Boeipa ni ka hoe uh. Jesuh kongah kaimih khaw nangmih sal la ka omuh.
For, not ourselves, do we proclaim, but Christ Jesus, as Lord, and, ourselves, as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 Pathen loh a thui dongah vangnah tah yinnah lamloh ha vang. Amah loh Jesuh Khrih kah maelhmai neh Pathen kah thangpomnah, mingnah khoval te mamih thinko ah a sae sak.
Because, the God who said—Out of darkness, light shall shine! [is he] who hath shone in our hearts, in proportion to the radiance of the glorious knowledge of God, in the face of Christ.
7 Hekah khohrhang he diklai hno dongah tah ng'khueh uh coeng. Te daengah ni thaomnah dongkah a puehkan tah Pathen kah koe la om vetih mamih kah la a om pawt eh.
Howbeit we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that, the surpassing greatness of the power, may be of God, and not from ourselves: —
8 A cungkuem loh n'lawn uh dae ka khawk uh moenih. Ka ingang uh dae a tal uh moenih.
On every side, pressed hard, but not hemmed in, without a way, but not without a by-way,
9 Hnaemtaek dae m'phap moenih. N'tloeng sut dae m'paci uh moenih.
Pursued, but not abandoned, thrown down, but not destroyed; —
10 Jesuh kah dueknah he pum dongah puet m'phueih daengah ni Jesuh kah hingnah loh mamih pum dongah a phoe van eh.
At all times, the putting to death of Jesus, in our body, bearing about, in order that, the life also of Jesus, in our body, may be made manifest;
11 Mamih aka hing rhoek tah Jesuh kongah dueknah taengah m'voeih taitu. Te daengah ni Jesuh kah hingnah long khaw aka duek thai mamih pumsa dongah a phoe eh.
For, evermore, we, the living, unto death are being delivered, for Jesus’ sake, in order that, the life also of Jesus, may be made manifest in our mortal flesh:
12 Te dongah dueknah loh kaimih ah, hingnah loh nangmih ah pongthoo coeng.
So that, his death, in us, doth energise, but, his life, in you.
13 Tangnah mueihla amah te aka khueh long tah a daek tangtae bangla ka tangnah tih ka thui. Kaimih loh ka tangnah uh dongah ka thui uh bal.
Howbeit, seeing that we have the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written—I believed, therefore I spake, we, also believe, therefore also we speak:
14 Boeipa Jesuh te thoo tila ming uh. Kaimih khaw Jesuh neh n'thoh vetih nangmih taengah m'pai sak ni.
Knowing that, he who raised up [the Lord] Jesus, will raise up, us also, together with Jesus, and will present [us] together with you.
15 A cungkuem he nangmih ham ni. Te daengah ni lungvatnah loh uemonah te muep a pungtai sak vetih Pathen kah thangpomnah te a baetawt eh.
For, all things, are for your sakes, in order that, the favour abounding, may, through means of the greater number, cause, the thanksgiving, to superabound unto the glory of God.
16 Te dongah n'thathae uh pawh. Mamih kah poenghman hlang tah poci ngawn mai cakhaw mamih kaha khui tah a hnin hnin ah tlaihvong uh.
Wherefore we faint not, but, even if, our outer man, is decaying, nevertheless, our inner [man], is renewing day by day.
17 Te dongah kolkalh kah phacip phabaem aka phoeng long he dungyan thangpomnah kaha khiing te mamih hama puehkan lamloh a phuehkan la a thoeng sak. (aiōnios )
For, the momentary lightness of the tribulation, in a manner yet more and more excelling, is working out for us, an age-abiding weight of glory, — (aiōnios )
18 Mamih kah hmuh tangtae dongah pawt tih hmuh pawt te ni m'paelki uh. Hmuh tangtae long he kolkalh om tih hmuh mueh long tah dungyan duela cak. (aiōnios )
So long as we are not looking out for the visible things, but for the invisible; for, the visible things, are temporary, whereas, the invisible, are age-abiding. (aiōnios )
