And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem on mount Moriah, where He had appeared unto David his father, on the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

And he began to build on the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

Now in this manner was the foundation laid of the house of God [at its] building [by] Solomon: The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 A hmai kah ngalha te khaw im hmai kah a daang bangla a yun dong kul, a sang te ya pakul lo tih te te a khui ah sui cilh a ben.
And the porch that was in the front of the length was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was a hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 Im puei te khaw hmaical thing neh a thung tih sui then a ben. A soah rhophoe neh cangtui-rhaica neh a cam.
And the great house he ceiled with fir-wood, which he overlaid with pure gold, and he wrought thereon palm-trees and chains.
6 Im te boeimang la lung vang neh, sui khaw Parvaim sui neh a ben.
And he overlaid the house with costly stones for ornament: and the gold was gold of Parvayim.
7 Im kah tungpum cingkhaa khaw, a pangbueng neh a thohkhaih khaw sui a ben tih pangbueng dongah cherubim a thuk.
And he covered the house, the beams, the sills, and its walls, and its doors, with gold: and he engraved cherubim on the walls.
8 Te phoeiah hmuencim kah hmuencim im te im hmai a daang dongah a yun dong kul, a daang dong kul la a sak tih sui then talent ya rhuk neh a ben.
And he made the most holy house, its length being in front of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits: and he covered it with fine gold, [amounting] to six hundred talents.
9 Thicung kah a khiing sui shekel sawmnga lo tih imhman te sui a ben thil.
And the weight of the nails [amounted] to fifty shekels of gold. And the upper chambers he covered with gold.
10 Hmuencim kah hmuencim im ah cherubim rhoi te mueisai kah bibi neh a saii tih te rhoi te khaw sui a ben.
And he made in the most holy house two cherubim of sculpture work, and they overlaid them with gold.
11 Cherubim kah a phae khaw a sen dong kul lo. Pakhat kah a phae vang te dong nga lo tih im kah pangbueng soah a ben. A phae vang te khaw dong nga lo tih cherubim pakhat kah a phae te a ben.
And regarding the wings of the cherubim their length was twenty cubits; the wing of the one amounting to five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing of five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 Cherubim pakhat kah a phae bal te dong nga lo tih im pangbueng te a ben. Te vaengah a phae vang te dong nga loh tih cherub pakhat kah phae te a ben.
And the wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing of five cubits was joined closely to the wing of the other cherub.
13 Cherubim kah a phae he dong kul la a phuel. Te rhoi te amah kho dongah pai tih a maelhmai te imkhui la mang.
The wings of these cherubim [as they were] spread out were twenty cubits: and they were standing on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14 Hniyan te a thim, daidi, aithii neh baibok neh a saii tih a khuiah cherubim a kaek thil.
And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought thereon cherubim.
15 Im hmai kah tung rhoi khaw dong sawmthum panga a sen la a saii tih a soi kah yael te dong nga lo.
And he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits in length, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16 Cangimphu khuiah te cangtui-rhaica a saii tih tung soi ah a khueh. Tale thaih te yakhat a saii tih cangtui-rhaica dongah a bang.
And he made chains in the debir; and [others which] he placed on the top of the pillars; and he made a hundred pomegranates, and placed them on the chains.
17 Tung rhoi te bawkim hmai ah a ling tih pakhat te bantang ah, pakhat te banvoei ah pai. Te phoeiah ah tah Benjamin ming la bantang kah te Jakhin, banvoei kah ming te Boaz a sui.
And he set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and he called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Bo'az.
