1 Pathen thingkawng te a khuen uh tih David loh amah te ham a tuk pah dap khui ah a khueh uh. Te phoeiah hmueihhlutnah neh rhoepnah te Pathen mikhmuh ah a nawn uh.
They brought in the ark of God and put it in the middle of the tent that David had set up for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God.
2 David loh hmueihhlutnah neh rhoepnah hmueih a tloeng te a coeng phoeiah tah pilnam te BOEIPA ming neh yoethen a paek.
When David had finished sacrificing the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.
3 Israel hlang boeih te tongpa khaw, huta ham khaw buh hluem, maehcaeng, yukhap rhip a tael pah.
He distributed to every Israelite, both to men and women, a loaf of bread, and a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins.
4 BOEIPA kah thingkawng hmai ah aka thotat Levi khui lamkah te Israel Pathen BOEIPA aka thoelh ham khaw, aka uem ham khaw, aka thangthen ham khaw a khueh.
David appointed certain Levites to serve before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate, thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel.
5 Boeilu Asaph neh a hnukthoi Zekhariah, Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obededom, Jeiel tah thangpa tumbael neh rhotoeng neh om tih Asaph tah tlaklak aka tum la om.
These Levites were Asaph the leader, and second to him Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed Edom, and Jeiel. These were to play with stringed instruments and with harps. Asaph was to sound the cymbals, sounding loudly.
6 Khosoih Benaiah neh Jahaziel tah Pathen kah paipi thingkawng hmai ah olueng neh phat om.
Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Te vaengah tue ah BOEIPA te lamhma la uem ham David loh Asaph neh a manuca rhoek taengah a paek.
Then on that day David first appointed Asaph and his brothers to sing this song of thanksgiving to Yahweh.
8 BOEIPA te uem uh lamtah, a ming te khue uh. A khoboe rhamlang te pilnam taengah ming sakuh.
Give thanks to Yahweh, call on his name; make known his deeds among the nations.
9 Amah te hlai uh lamtah, amah te tingtoeng uh. Amah kah khobaerhambae cungkuem dongah lolmang uh lah.
Sing to him, sing praises to him; speak of all his marvelous deeds.
10 Amah kah hmuencim ming dongah thangthen uh lamtah, BOEIPA aka tlap kah lungbuei tah a kohoe saeh.
Boast in his holy name; let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
11 BOEIPA te toem uh lamtah a sarhi neh a maelhmai te tlap yoeyah uh.
Seek Yahweh and his strength; seek his presence continually.
12 A saii kopoekrhai neh a ka laitloeknah bangla amah kah khobaerhambae te poek uh.
Recall the marvelous things he has done, his miracles and the decrees from his mouth,
13 Israel tiingan he amah kah sal tih, Jakob koca he amah kah a coelh ni.
you descendants of Israel his servant, you people of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 Amah tah mamih kah Pathen BOEIPA ni, a laitloeknah he diklai pum ah om.
He is Yahweh, our God. His decrees are on all the earth.
15 A paipi te kumhal duela poek uh. Cadilcahma thawngkhat ham khaw ol a uen coeng.
Keep his covenant in mind forever, the word that he commanded for a thousand generations.
16 Te te Abraham taengah a saii tih a olhlo te Isaak taengah a khueh.
He calls to mind the covenant that he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac.
17 Kumhal paipi te Israel taengkah oltlueh bangla Jakob taengah khaw a pai sak.
This is what he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, and to Israel as an everlasting covenant.
18 “Kanaan khohmuen te Nang taengah na rho neh khoyo la kam paek ni.
He said, “I will give you the land of Canaan as your share of your inheritance.”
19 Na hlang te hlangmi a yol neh a khuiah aka bakuep la om.
When they were only few in number, so very few, and they were strangers in the land,
20 Namtom lamloh namtom taengla, ram khat lamloh pilnam tloe taengla pongpa uh.
they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
21 Amih hnaemtaek ham te hlang taengla a tloeng pawt dongah amih yueng la manghai rhoek te a tluung pah.
He did not allow anyone to oppress them; he punished kings for their sakes.
22 Ka koelh rhoek te ben uh boeh, ka tonghma rhoek taengah khaw thaehuet uh boeh.
he said, “Do not touch my anointed ones, and do not harm my prophets.”
23 Diklai pum loh BOEIPA te hlai uh lah, amah kah khangnah te a hnin, hnin ah phong uh.
Sing to Yahweh, all the earth; announce his salvation day after day.
24 Amah thangpomnah te namtom taengah, amah kah khobaerhambae te pilnam cungkuem taengah daek uh.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all the nations.
25 BOEIPA tah len tih muep thangthen pai saeh. Pathen boeih lakah amah a rhih om pai.
For Yahweh is great and is to be praised greatly, and he is to be feared above all other gods.
26 Pilnam kah pathen boeih tah mueirhol rhoek ni. Tedae BOEIPA loh vaan a saii.
For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is Yahweh who made the heavens.
27 A mikhmuh ah mueithennah neh rhuepomnah, a ngolnah hmuen ah a sarhi neh kohoenah om.
Splendor and majesty are in his presence. Strength and joy are in his place.
28 Pilnam paca te BOEIPA taengah pae uh, thangpomnah neh sarhi te khaw BOEIPA taengah pae uh.
Ascribe to Yahweh, you clans of peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!
29 A ming thangpomnah te BOEIPA taengah pae uh lamtah, khocang te khuen uh. A mikhmuh ah kun uh lamtah, hmuencim kah rhuepomnah khuiah BOEIPA te bawk uh lah.
Ascribe to Yahweh the glory his name deserves. Bring an offering and come before him. Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness.
30 A mikhmuh ah diklai pum he hinghuen saeh. Lunglai ngawn tah cikngae tih tuen pawh.
Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established; it cannot be shaken.
31 Vaan rhoek te a kohoe saeh lamtah diklai khaw omngaih saeh. Namtom rhoek taengah BOEIPA a manghai te thui uh saeh.
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let them say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns.”
32 Tuitunli neh a cungkuem khaw kawk saeh lamtah, khohmuen neh a khuikah a cungkuem loh sundaep saeh.
Let the sea roar, and that which fills it shout with joy. Let the fields be joyful, and all that is in them.
33 Diklai laitloek ham ha pawk coeng dongah duup thing rhoek khaw BOEIPA mikhmuh ah tamhoe uh saeh.
Then let the trees in the forest shout for joy before Yahweh, for he is coming to judge the earth.
34 A sitlohnah te kumhal due ham a then dongah BOEIPA te uem uh.
Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
35 “Kaimih kah khangnah Pathen, kaimih he n'khang lah. Kaimih he n'coi lamtah namtom taeng lamloh kaimih n'huul lah. Na cimcaihnah ming te uem ham neh na kohoenah dongah ka domyok uh ham khaw,” ti uh.
Then say, “Save us, God of our salvation. Gather us together and rescue us from the other nations, so that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praises.”
36 Israel Pathen BOEIPA tah, khosuen lamloh kumhal hil khaw a yoethen pai saeh. Te phoeiah pilnam boeih loh, “Amen, BOEIPA te thangthen pai saeh,” a ti uh.
May Yahweh, the God of Israel, be praised from everlasting to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen” and praised Yahweh.
37 Te phoeiah Asaph neh a manuca rhoek te a hnin, hnin kah olkhueh bangla thingkawng hmai ah phueih aka thotat hamla BOEIPA kah paipi thingkawng hmai ah pahoi a khueh.
So David left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, to serve continually before the ark, as every day's work required.
38 Obededom neh a pacaboeina he sawmrhuk parhet lo. Thoh tawt la Jeduthun capa Obededom neh Hosah.
Obed Edom with those sixty-eight relatives were included. Obed Edom son of Jeduthun, along with Hosah, were to be gatekeepers.
39 Khosoih Zadok neh a manuca khosoih rhoek tah Gibeon hmuensang kah BOEIPA dungtlungim hmai ah,
Zadok the priest and his fellow priests were to serve before the tabernacle of Yahweh at the high place in Gibeon.
40 BOEIPA taengah hmueihhlutnah aka nawn la, hmueihtuk sokah sainoek hmueihhlutnah te hlaem ah khaw, mincang ah khaw aka nawn la om uh. Te dongah a cungkuem la BOEIPA kah olkhueng khuiah a daek tih Israel taengah a uen coeng.
They were to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar for burnt offerings continually morning and evening, according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he gave as a command to Israel.
41 Amih taengah Heman, Jeduthun neh a coelh coih rhoek khaw om. Te rhoek te tah a sitlohnah kumhal due la a om dongah BOEIPA uem ham a ming neh a phoei.
Heman and Jeduthun were with them, together with the rest who were chosen by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
42 Te vaengah Heman neh Jeduthun tah amih taengah olueng neh tlaklak aka tum la, Pathen kah lumlaa hnopai neh om. Jeduthun koca rhoek te vongka taengah omuh.
Heman and Jeduthun were in charge of those who played trumpets, cymbals, and the other instruments for the sacred music. The sons of Jeduthun guarded the gate.
43 Te phoeiah pilnam boeih te amah im la rhip cet uh tih David khaw a imkhui te yoethen paek hamla mael van.
Then all the people returned to their homes, and David returned to bless his own household.
