< Rom 8 >
1 Tahae atah Jesuh Khrih ah aka om rhoek te dantatnah om pawh.
Thus there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus;
2 Jesuh Khrih ah hingnah Mueihla kah olkhueng loh tholhnah neh dueknah kah olkhueng lamkah nang n'loeih sak coeng.
for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death.
3 Pumsa neh a vawtthoek vaengah ni olkhueng ham a lolh pueng te. Pathen loh a capa te tholhnah pumsa kah mueisa la han tueih tih aka tholh bangla pumsa dongkah tholh ah a boe sak.
For God has done what the Law could not do, weakened as it was by flesh. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and on account of sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;
4 Te daengah ni olkhueng kah rhilam tah pumsa saloel la aka cet pawt tih Mueihla ah aka cet mamih ah a soep eh.
in order that the Law might be fulfilled in us who order our lives not after the flesh, but after the spirit.
5 Pumsa saloel la aka om rhoek loh pumsa kah te a poek uh. Tedae Mueihla kah rhoek long tah Mueihla kah te a poek.
For they who live after the flesh, give their attention to the things of the flesh; But they who live after the spirit, give their attention to spiritual things.
6 Te dongah pumsa kah poeknah tah dueknah tih Mueihla kah poeknah tah hingnah neh rhoepnah ni.
To be earthly minded means death; To be spiritually minded means life and peace.
7 Pumsa kah poeknah loh Pathen kah olkhueng taengah boengai pawt tih a coeng thai pawt dongah Pathen taengah thunkha la om.
For to be earthly minded is enmity against God; For such a mind is not subject to the Law of God, Nor can it be;
8 Te dongah pumsa ah aka om rhoek tah Pathen te a kolo sak thai pawh.
And they who are earthly minded cannot please God.
9 Tedae nangmih tah pumsa ah pawt tih Mueihla ah na om uh atah nangmih khuiah Pathen kah Mueihla kol ta. Tedae khat khat long ni Khrih Mueihla a khueh pawt atah anih te Khrih kah hut la om pawh.
But you are not earthly, but spiritual, if indeed the Spirit of God is really dwelling in you. If any one does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 Khrih he nangmih ah a om atah pum cungvang loh tholh ah duek. Tedae Mueihla tah duengnah dongah hingnah neh om coeng.
But if Christ is in you, though your bodily self is dead because of sin, your spirit is full of life because of righteousness.
11 Te phoeiah Jesuh te duek lamkah aka thoh Pathen kah Mueihla te nangmih ah a om atah, duek lamkah Khrih aka thoh loh nangmih khuikah a Mueihla a om rhangneh aka nguelpawh na pum te khaw a hing sak ni.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus from dead is dwelling in you, He who raised up Jesus from the dead is dwelling in you, He who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also make your dying bodily self live by his indwelling Spirit in your lives.
12 Te dongah manuca rhoek laihmu la n'om uh dongah pumsa saloel la pumsa dongah hing ham moenih.
Therefore, brothers, we are debtors - but not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh;
13 Pumsa la na hing uh atah na duek uh ni. Tedae pum kah pongthoh te mueihla lamloh na duek sak uh atah na hing uh ni.
for if you go on living according to the flesh, you are on the road to die; but if by the Spirit you keep putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
14 Pathen kah mueihla loh a mawt boeih tah Pathen kah a ca rhoek ni.
For only those are sons of God who are led by God’s Spirit.
15 Te dongah rhihnah la koep aka thak sal kah mueihla na dang uh pawt tih cacah kah Mueihla na dang uh. Te nen ni pa te Abba la n'khue uh.
For you have not received a spirit of slavery in order that you should once more be afraid; but you have received a spirit of adoption, in which we cry out, "My Father, my dear Father!"
16 Pathen kah ca rhoek la n'om uh tila Mueihla amah loh mamih kah mueihla taengah a mingpuei coeng.
For his Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God;
17 Te phoeiah a ca rhoek la a om uh atah rhopangkung la n'omuh. Pathen kah rhopangkung tah Khrih kah rho aka pang hmaih la n'omuh. Patang hmaih van daengah ni n'thangpom van eh.
and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ; but to share his glory, we must now be sharing his sufferings.
18 Mamih taengah pumphoe ham aka cai thangpomnah neh tahae tue kah patangnah tah tingtawk pawh tila poek uh.
For I count as nothing what we now suffer, in comparison with the glory which will soon be unveiled to us.
19 Te dongah suentae kah rhingoelnah loh Pathen ca rhoek kah a pumphoenah te a lamtawn.
All nature even is waiting with eager longing for the unveiling of the vision of God’s sons.
20 Suentae loh a honghi dongah a boengai te a thahlue pawh. Tedae ngaiuepnah dongah boe a ngai sak.
For nature was subjected to imperfection, not by its own will, but by the will of Him who thus made it subject -
21 Te dongah suentae mah khaw hmawnnah sal lamkah Pathen ca rhoek kah thangpom dongah poenghalnah khuila loeih ni.
yet not without the hope that some day nature itself also will be freed from the thraldom of decay, into the freedom which belongs to the glory of the children of God.
22 Suentae boeih loh kopang tih tahae duela a patang te m'ming uh.
For we know that all nature has been groaning and travailing together until this hour.
23 Te bueng pawt tih mamih khaw mueihla thaihcuek te n'khueh uh. Mamih khaw m'mah khuiah tah ng'huei uh tih a cacah la mamih pum kah tlannah te n'lamtawn uh.
And not only that, we ourselves, although we are grasping the first- fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves are inwardly groaning, while we are waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.
24 Te dongah ngaiuepnah neh mamih n'khang. Tedae hmuh tangtae dongkah ngaiuepnah tah ngaiuepnah la om pawh. A hmuh tangtae te pakhat long khaw a ngaiuep a?
For by hope we are saved; but hope which is clearly seen is no longer hope.
25 Tedae hmuh mueh te ngaiuep uh atah uehnah neh lamtawn uh sih.
Who hopes for what he clearly sees? But if we hope for something that we do not see, we then patiently wait for it.
26 Te banghui la mamih kah vawtthoeknah dongah mueihla loh m'bom van. Thangthui ham a kuek te m'ming uh moenih. Tedae Mueihla amah loh thuilek pawt hil hueinah neh rhi a khang.
In the same way the Spirit also takes hold with us in our weakness; for we know knot how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 Thinko aka khe loh mueihla kah poeknah te a ming. Pathen kah ninglam la hlangcim rhoek ham a huithui pah.
And the Searcher of Hearts knows what the Sprit’s meaning is, because his intercessions for the saints are according to the will of God.
28 Tedae Pathen loh a lungnah tih a mangtaeng bangla khue la aka om rhoek ham tah a then la boeih a bongyong te m'ming uh.
Now we know that all things continually work together for good to to those who love God, to those who have been the called according to his purpose.
29 A ming oepsoeh rhoek te tah boeina phung muep lakah camingomthang la om sak ham a capa kah mueimae phek la a nuen coeng.
For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, so that he might be the eldest of a great brotherhood;
30 Te dongah a nuen tangtae te a khue. Tekah a khue te khaw a tang sak. A tang sak tangtae te a thangpom.
and whom he foreordained, those he also called; and whom he called, those he also justified; and whom he justified, those he also glorified.
31 Te koinih he rhoek ham balae n'thui uh eh? Pathen te mamih ham coeng atah unim mamih aka pai thil eh?
What shall we say then, to these things? If God be for us, Who can be against us?
32 Amah loh a capa pataeng a hlun moenih. Tedae mamih boeih ham ni anih te a voeih. Te dongah a taengkah boeih khaw metlam mamih n'rhen pawt eh?
He that spared not his own Son, But freely delivered him up for us all, How shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Pathen kah a coelh te unim aka tingtoeh eh? Pathen loh a tang sak te u long a boe sak?
Who shall accuse God’s elect? God acquits them;
34 Jesuh Khrih he duek dae thoo pataeng coeng. Amah tah Pathen kah bantang ah om bal tih mamih ham huithui coeng.
Who is there to condemn them? Will Christ who died? Yes, and who rose from the dead, The Christ who is also at the right hand of God, And is interceding for us?
35 Khrih kah lungnah lamkah u long nim mamih paekboe eh? Phacip phabaem neh citcai nim, hnaemtaeknah neh khokha nim, a tlingyal a, khoponah a, cunghang nim?
What shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall anguish, or calamity, or persecution, or famine? Shall nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 A daek vanbangla nang kongah hnin at puet n'duek sak uh tih tu bangla maeh la m'hmoel uh.
Even as it is written. For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Tedae mamih aka lungnah taeng lamloh he rhoek boeih he rhep n'na uh coeng.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors Through Him who loved us.
38 Dueknah neh hingnah long pawt nim, puencawn rhoek neh boeilu rhoek long pawt nim, aka pai nawn neh aka thoeng ham long pawt nim, thaomnah long pawt nim,
For I am fully persuaded that neither death nor life, Neither angels nor principalities, nor powers, Neither the present world nor the world to come, Nor the powers of Nature,
39 a bawn neh a dung long pawt nim, a saihluen khat khat long pawt nim tila ka phaep uh phat coeng. Te dongah a tloe loh mamih Boeipa Jesuh Khrih ah Pathen kah lungnah neh mamih m'paekboe thai aya?
Nor height, nor depth, Nor any other created thing, Shall be able to separate us from the love of God Which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
