1 He phoeiah a tloe puencawn vaan lamkah aka suntla te ka hmuh. Saithainah a khueh khungdaeng tih a thangpomnah neh diklai te a tue.
And after these thinges, I sawe another Angel come downe from heauen, hauing great power, so that the earth was lightened with his glorie,
2 Te vaengah ol ue la pang tih, “Tim coeng Babylon puei te tim coeng. Te dongah rhaithae rhoek kah khosaknah hmuen neh rhalawt mueihla boeih kah thongim, rhalawt vathawt boeih kah thongim, rhalawt satlung neh hmuhuet koi boeih kah thongim la poeh coeng.
And he cryed out mightily with a loud voyce, saying, It is fallen, it is fallen, Babylon that great citie, and is become the habitation of deuils, and the holde of all foule spirits, and a cage of euery vncleane and hatefull birde.
3 A Cukhalnah thinsa misurtui te namtom boeih loh a ok uh tih diklai manghai rhoek tah anih taengah cukhalh uh. A thaomnah neh pangdoknah lamkah diklai hnoyoi rhoek loh a khueh tawn uh,” a ti.
For all nations haue drunken of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the Kings of the earth haue committed fornication with her, and the marchants of the earth are waxed rich of the abundance of her pleasures.
4 Te phoeiah vaan lamkah ol tloe ka yaak tih, “Ka pilnam aw, a taeng lamloh cet laeh. Te daengah ni a tholhnah dongah na thum uh pawt vetih, a lucik te na dang uh pawt eh.
And I heard another voyce from heauen say, Goe out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sinnes, and that ye receiue not of her plagues.
5 A tholhnah loh vaan duela kap tih a boethae te Pathen loh a ming.
For her sinnes are come vp into heauen, and God hath remembred her iniquities.
6 Anih loh a thuung vanbangla amah khaw thuung uh lamtah a khoboe tarhing ah rhaepnit rhaepnit la boengloeng a thoek tangtae khuiah rhaepnit la thoek uh.
Rewarde her, euen as she hath rewarded you, and giue her double according to her workes: and in the cup that she hath filled to you, fill her ye double.
7 Amah tah muep thangpom uh tih pang a dok. Anih te heyet tah phaepnah neh ngueknah pae uh. A thinko ah tah, “Boeinu’ la ka ngol tih nuhmai la ka om pawh. Te dongah ngueknah ka ming loeng loeng mahpawh,” a ti.
In as much as she glorified her selfe, and liued in pleasure, so much giue ye to her torment and sorow: for she saith in her heart, I sit being a queene, and am no widowe, and shall see no mourning.
8 Te dongah a lucik tah khohnin pakhat ah dueknah, ngueknah, khokha la ha pawk vetih hmai neh a hoeh ni. Boeipa Pathen aka tlung loh anih te lai a tloek thil coeng.
Therefore shall her plagues come at one day, death, and sorowe, and famine, and she shalbe burnt with fire: for that God which condemneth her, is a strong Lord.
9 Te dongah a taengah cukhalh neh pang aka dok diklai manghai rhoek loh a ung kah hmaikhu te a hmuh uh vaengah anih ham rhap uh vetih a rhaengsae uh ni.
And the kings of the earth shall bewayle her, and lament for her, which haue committed fornication, and liued in pleasure with her, when they shall see that smoke of that her burning,
10 A phaepnah te rhihnah neh hoei pai uh vetih, “Anunae, anunae, kho puei Babylon kho tlung te khonoek pakhat neh nang kah laitloeknah ha pawk ca,” a ti uh.
And shall stand a farre off for feare of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great citie Babylon, that mightie citie: for in one houre is thy iudgement come.
11 Diklai hnoyoi rhoek tah rhap uh tih a soah nguek uh. Amih kah hnopai te a lai pah voel pawt dongah.
And the marchants of the earth shall weepe and wayle ouer her: for no man byeth their ware any more.
12 Hnopai te sui neh ngun khaw, lung vang neh laitha khaw, hnithen neh daidi hni, puu a nukyum, thing botui neh vueino hno cungkuem boeih khaw, thing then tubael boeih khaw, rhohum khaw, thi khaw, lungbok khaw,
The ware of golde, and siluer, and of precious stone, and of pearles, and of fine linnen, and of purple, and of silke, and of skarlet, and of all maner of Thyne wood, and of all vessels of yuorie, and of all vessels of most precious wood, and of brasse, and of yron, and of marble,
13 Thingsa khaw, anhoi khaw, bo-ul khaw, botui khaw, hmueihtui khaw, misurtui khaw, situi khaw, vaidam khaw, cang khaw, saelhung khaw, tu khaw, marhang khaw, leng khaw, pumsa rhoek khaw, hlang mueihla khaw lai uh voel pawh.
And of cinamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oyle, and fine floure, and wheate, and beastes, and sheepe, and horses, and charets, and seruants, and soules of men.
14 Na hinglu kah hoehhamnah na thaih hmin te khaw nang lamkah khum coeng. A kuel a pang neh a cim thik boeih khaw nang lamloh poci coeng. Te rhoek te phoe loengloeng voel mahpawh.
(And the apples that thy soule lusted after, are departed from thee, and all things which were fatte and excellent, are departed from thee, and thou shalt finde them no more)
15 Anih lamkah aka khuehtawn hnoyoi rhoek tah a phaepnah te rhihnah neh a hla lamkah pai uh vetih a rhah neh nguek uh ni.
The marchants of these thinges which were waxed riche, shall stand a farre off from her, for feare of her torment, weeping and wayling,
16 Anunae, anunae, khopuei khotung aih., hnithen, daidi neh a nukyum aka bai, sui, lungto lungvang, laitha neh aka thoeihcam uh aih.
And saying, Alas, alas, that great citie, that was clothed in fine linnen and purple, and skarlet, and gilded with gold, and precious stones, and pearles.
17 Khuehtawn heyet loh khonoek pakhat ah a poeih mai,” a ti uh. Sangpho boei boeih neh hmuen tom la aka hlaikan sangpho hlang rhoek khaw, tuitunli kah a saii boeih long khaw a hla lamkah pai uh.
For in one houre so great riches are come to desolation. And euery shipmaster, and all the people that occupie shippes, and shipmen, and whosoeuer traffike on the sea, shall stand a farre off,
18 Anih a ung kah hmaikhu te a hmuh uh vaengah pang uh tih, “kho puei te metlam phek a om?” a ti uh.
And crie, when they see that smoke of that her burning, saying, What citie was like vnto this great citie?
19 A lu ah lainaeng khaw a phul uh tih pang uh. Rhap uh tih nguek uh. Anunae, anunae kho puei aih te, a khohrhang lamloh tuitunli ah sangpho aka khueh boeih loh a khuehtawn uh te khonoek pakhat loh a poeih mai,” a ti uh.
And they shall cast dust on their heads, and crie, weeping, and wayling, and say, Alas, alas, that great citie, wherein were made rich all that had ships on the sea by her costlinesse: for in one houre she is made desolate.
20 Vaan neh, hlangcim rhoek neh, caeltueih rhoek neh, tonghma rhoek aw anih te uum laeh. Nangmih kah laitloeknah te anih soah Pathen loh lai a tloek coeng.
O heauen, reioyce of her, and ye holy Apostles and Prophets: for God hath punished her to be reuenged on her for your sakes.
21 Te phoeiah puencawn aka tlung pakhat loh phaklung len bang lungto te a phil tih tuitunli la a voeih. Babylon kho puei tah kuthlahnah neh a voeih pai vetih koep phoe voel mahpawh.
Then a mightie Angell tooke vp a stone like a great milstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, With such violence shall that great citie Babylon be cast, and shalbe found no more.
And the voyce of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpetters shalbe heard no more in thee, and no craftesman, of whatsoeuer craft he be, shall be found any more in thee: and the sound of a milstone shalbe heard no more in thee.
23 Hmaiim a vangnah khaw na khuiah vang voel bal mahpawh. Yulokung neh vasakung kah ol khaw na khuiah na ya voel bal mahpawh. Na rhunsi khuehnah lamloh namtom boeih a rhaithi dongah na hnoyoi rhoek te diklai hlanglen la om uh.
And the light of a candle shall shine no more in thee: and the voyce of the bridegrome and of the bride shalbe heard no more in thee: for thy marchants were the great men of the earth: and with thine inchantments were deceiued all nations.
24 Tedae a ah tonghma rhoek, hlangcim rhoek neh diklai hmankah a ngawn uh boeih kah a thii te a hmuh coeng.
And in her was found the blood of the Prophets, and of the Saints, and of all that were slaine vpon the earth.
