1 David kah Thangthuinah BOEIPA aw kai he ka mangdaeng tih ka khodaeng oeh dongah na hna kaeng lamtah kai n'doo dae.
A prayer of David. Incline Your ear, O LORD, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.
2 Kai tah ka cim dongah ka hinglu he hang ngaithuen dae. Ka Pathen namah dongah ka pangtung vanbangla namah loh na sal he n'khang dae.
Preserve my soul, for I am godly. You are my God; save Your servant who trusts in You.
3 Ka Boeipa nang te hnin takuem kang khue coeng dongah kai he n'rhen lah.
Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I call to You all day long.
4 Ka Boeipa nang taengah ka hinglu neh ka dangrhoek coeng dongah na sal kah hinglu he kohoe sak lah.
Bring joy to Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
5 Ka Boeipa tah na then tih na kamyawm dongah ni, nang aka khue boeih taengah sitlohnah yet.
For You, O Lord, are kind and forgiving, rich in loving devotion to all who call on You.
6 BOEIPA aw, ka thangthuinah he hnatun lamtah ka huithuinah ol he hnatung lah.
Hear my prayer, O LORD, and attend to my plea for mercy.
7 Kai nan doo ham ni ka citcai hnin ah nang kang khue.
In the day of my distress I call on You, because You answer me.
8 Pathen rhoek khuiah ka Boeipa namah bang he om pawt tih namah kah bibi bang khaw om pawh.
O Lord, there is none like You among the gods, nor any works like Yours.
9 Na saii namtom boeih te halo uh vetih ka Boeipa namah mikhmuh ah bakop uh ni. Te vaengah na ming te a thangpom uh ni.
All the nations You have made will come and bow before You, O Lord, and they will glorify Your name.
10 Namah te na tanglue coeng dongah khobaerhambae aka saii khaw Pathen namah bueng ni na om.
For You are great and perform wonders; You alone are God.
11 BOEIPA aw na longpuei te kai n'thuinuet lamtah na oltak dongah ka pongpa lah eh. Na ming rhih ham ka thinko saicin sak lah.
Teach me Your way, O LORD, that I may walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name.
12 Ka Boeipa ka Pathen namah te ka thinko boeih neh kan uem vetih kumhal duela na ming ka thangpom ni.
I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify Your name forever.
For great is Your loving devotion to me; You have delivered me from the depths of Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
14 Pathen aw thinlen rhoek loh kai n'thoh thil uh tih rhaengpuei hlanghaeng loh ka hinglu mae uh cakhaw amih hmai kah namah a hmaitang uh moenih.
The arrogant rise against me, O God; a band of ruthless men seeks my life, with no regard for You.
15 Ka Boeipa nang tah thinphoei neh lungvatnah dongah thintoek aka ueh tih sitlohnah neh uepomnah aka baetawt Pathen la na om.
But You, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion and faithfulness.
16 Kai taengla ha mael lamtah kai rhen lah. Na sarhi te na sal taengah pae lamtah na salnu kah a ca te khang lah.
Turn to me and have mercy; grant Your strength to Your servant; save the son of Your maidservant.
17 Hno then kah miknoek te kai taengah saii lamtah ka lunguet rhoek loh hmu uh saeh. BOEIPA namah loh kai nan bom tih ka hal coeng dongah amih te yak uh saeh.
Show me a sign of Your goodness, that my enemies may see and be ashamed; for You, O LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
