< Tingtoeng 83 >
1 Asaph kah Tingtoeng Laa Pathen aw, nang taengah dingsueknah tal nim. Pathen aw omlip boel lamtah mong boeh.
A Song. A Psalm. Of Asaph. O God, do not keep quiet: let your lips be open and take no rest, O God.
2 Na thunkha rhoek loh hue a sak tih na lunguet rhoek loh lu a dangrhoek uh soeh ke.
For see! those who make war on you are out of control; your haters are lifting up their heads.
3 Na pilnam te baecenol neh muet uh tih na khoem rhoek taengah uento uh thae.
They have made wise designs against your people, talking together against those whom you keep in a secret place.
4 Anmih vik loh, “Halo uh lamtah namtom bangla amih ke thup sih. Te daengah ni Israel ming a thoelh uh voel pawt eh?,” a ti uh.
They have said, Come, let us put an end to them as a nation; so that the name of Israel may go out of man's memory.
5 Nang kah a voel ah lungbuei thikat la toidal uh thae tih moi aka bop rhoek tah,
For they have all come to an agreement; they are all joined together against you:
6 Edom dap rhoek neh Moab Ishmael, Hagri,
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagarites;
7 Gebal, Ammon, Philistia Amalek, neh Tyre kah khosa hmaih rhoek,
Gebal and Ammon and Amalek; the Philistines and the people of Tyre;
8 Amih te Assyria loh a koei pataeng tih Lot koca ham bantha la coeng uh. (Selah)
Assur is joined with them; they have become the support of the children of Lot. (Selah)
9 Amih te Kishon soklong kah Midian, Sisera neh Jabin bangla saii lah.
Do to them what you did to the Midianites; what you did to Sisera and Jabin, at the stream of Kishon:
10 Endor ah mitmoeng uh tih diklai ah aek la poeh uh.
Who came to destruction at En-dor; their bodies became dust and waste.
11 Amih kah hlangcong rhoek te Oreb neh Zeeb, Zebah bangla, a boeimang boeih te Zalmunna bangla khueh lah.
Make their chiefs like Oreb and Zeeb; and all their rulers like Zebah and Zalmunna:
12 Amih loh, “Pathen kah toitlim te mamih ham huul uh sih,” a ti uh.
Who have said, Let us take for our heritage the resting-place of God.
13 Ka Pathen aw amih te humhae bangla, khohli hmai kah divawt bangla khueh lah.
O my God, make them like the rolling dust; like dry stems before the wind.
14 Hmai loh duup a dom tih hmaisai loh tlang a hlawp bangla han coeng sak.
As fire burning a wood, and as a flame causing fire on the mountains,
15 Amih te na hlipuei neh hloem van lamtah amih te na cangpalam neh let sak lah.
So go after them with your strong wind, and let them be full of fear because of your storm.
16 Amih maelhmai te yah bai lamtah BOEIPA nang ming te toem uh saeh.
Let their faces be full of shame; so that they may give honour to your name, O Lord.
17 Amih te yahpok uh saeh lamtah let uh saeh. A yoeyah la a hmai tal uh saeh lamtah milh uh saeh.
Let them be overcome and troubled for ever; let them be put to shame and come to destruction;
18 Te dongah diklai pum ah nang tah na ming Yahweh tih, namah bueng te Sangkoek tila ming uh saeh.
So that men may see that you only, whose name is Yahweh, are Most High over all the earth.
