1 Rhotoeng neh aka mawt ham David kah Pathen aw ka tamlung he ya lamtah ka thangthuinah he hnatung lah.
To the Chief Musician. Upon a Stringed Instrument. David’s. Hear, O God, my loud cry, Attend unto my prayer:
2 Nang te Diklai a bawt lamkah kan khue. Ka lungbuei a rhae vaengah kamah lakah aka sang lungpang taengla kai nan mawt.
From the end of the earth, unto thee do I cry, When my heart fainteth away, Unto a rock that is higher than I, wilt thou lead me.
3 Kai ham tah hlipyingnah neh thunkha hmai ah sarhi rhaltoengim la na om.
For thou hast been, A Refuge to me, A Tower of Strength, from the face of the foe.
4 Na dap khuiah kumhal ka bakuep vetih na phae hlip ah ka ying ni. (Selah)
I would be a guest in thy tent to the ages, I would seek refuge in the concealment of thy wings. (Selah)
5 Pathen namah loh ka olcaeng te na yaak dongah na ming aka rhih tah rho na paek.
For, thou, O God, hast hearkened to my vows, Thou hast granted a possession, unto them who revere thy Name.
6 Manghai kah a tue khohnin te puh sak lamtah a kum khaw cadilcahma duela nguel sak.
Days—unto the days of the king, wilt thou add. His years, as of generation after generation:
7 Sitlohnah Pathen hmai ah kumhal khosa saeh lamtah a khueh oltak loh anih te kueinah saeh.
Let him retain his seat age-abidingly before God, Appoint that, lovingkindness and faithfulness, my watch over him!
8 Khohnin, khohnin ah ka olcaeng te thuung ham na ming ka tingtoeng yoeyah.
So, will I sing thy Name unto futurity, Paying my vows, day by day.
