1 Asaph kah Tingtoenglung Pathen, BOEIPA Pathen loh a thui tih, khocuk lamkah khotlak duela, diklai a tuentah.
A psalm of Asaph. The Lord God has spoken: He summons the earth from sunrise to sunset.
2 Pathen kah a sakthen a soepnah loh Zion lamkah ha sae.
From Zion, perfection of beauty, God’s glory shines forth.
3 Mamih kah Pathen te halo tih omlip pawh. A hmai ah hmai loh a hlawp tih a taengvai ah boehoeng khohli.
Our God comes, he cannot keep silence, devouring fire is before him, and furious tempest around him.
4 A pilnam te laitloek ham a sosang kah vaan rhoek neh diklai te a tuentah.
He summons the heavens above and the earth to judge his people.
5 Hmueih neh ka paipi aka saii, ka hlangcim rhoek kai taengla tingtun uh lah.
Gather to him his saints by covenant-sacrifice bound to him;
6 Pathen amah loh lai a tloek dongah a duengnah te vaan rhoek long khaw a thui uh. (Selah)
that the heavens may declare his justice, for a God of justice is he. (Selah)
7 Ka pilnam aw ya van lah. Israel taengah ka voek vetih Pathen kamah, nangmih kah Pathen loh nangmih taengah ka laipai ni.
“Hear, O my people, and I will speak, and protest to you, O Israel: I am the Lord, your God.
8 Nang kah hmueih neh na hmueihhlutnah dongah nang kan tluung moenih. Ka hmai ah om taitu ngawn.
Not for your sacrifices will I reprove you your burnt-offerings are ever before me
9 Na im kah vaitotal khaw, na vongtung kah kikong khaw ka doe moenih.
Not a bullock will I take from your house, nor male goats out of your folds;
10 Duup kah mulhing boeih neh tlang thawngkhat kah rhamsa boeih ke kamah koe ni.
for all beasts of the forest are mine, and the kine on a thousand hills.
11 Tlang kah vaa boeih te ka ming tih kohong kah satlung khaw kamah taengah om coeng.
I know all the birds of the air, all that moves on the fields is mine.
12 Lunglai neh a khuikah boeih te kamah taengah om tih ka lamlum cakhaw nang taengah ka thui mahpawh.
Were I hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fulness are mine.
13 Vaito lueng saa te ka caak vetih kikong thii te ka ok aya?
Am I such as to eat bulls’ flesh, or drink the blood of goats?
14 Uemonah te Pathen taengah nawn lamtah na olcaeng te Khohni taengah thuung lah.
Offer to God a thank-offering, pay the Most High your vows.
15 Te dongah citcai tue vaengah kai n'khue lah. Nang kan pumcum vetih kai nan thangpom ni.
Summon me in the day of distress, I will rescue you, so will you honor me.”
16 Tedae Pathen loh halang te, “Ka oltlueh aka tae ham neh na ka dongah ka paipi aka khuen nang te bahamlae?
But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to talk of my statutes, or take my covenant into your mouth
17 Thuituennah na hmuhuet tih ka ol he na hnukla na voeih.
while you yourself hate correction, and cast my words behind you?
18 Hlanghuen na hmuh vaengah, anih taeng neh na hamsum dongkah, samphaih rhoek taengah na ngaingaih.
When you see a thief, you run with them; with adulterers you keep company.
19 Boethae ham na ka na hnonah tih na lai kah thailatnah neh na sun.
You let your mouth loose for evil, your tongue contrives deceit.
20 Na pacaboeina taengah na ngol tih na cal van dae na manu ca te boekoekthingka na paek.
You shamefully speak of your kin, and slander your own mother’s son.
21 Hekah he na saii vaengah ka omlip hatah namah bangla om khaw om ni tila na poek. Nang te kan tluung vetih na mikhmuh ah kan yan ni.
And because I kept silence at this, you did take me for one like yourself. But I will convict you and show you plainly.
22 He he Pathen aka hnilh rhoek loh yakming uh laeh. Kam poel vetih aka huul om pawt ve.
“Now you who forget God, mark this, lest I rend you, past hope of deliverance.
23 Uemonah aka nawn loh kai n'thangpom tih longpuei a rhoek a bah dongah Pathen kah daemnah te anih ka tueng ni,” a ti.
Those who bring a thank-offering honor me; but to those: who follows my way, I will show the salvation of God.”
