“A psalm of the sons of Korah.” Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised In the city of our God, upon his holy mountain.
2 Diklai pum kah a omthennah hmuensang Zion tlang tah a sakthen pai. Tlangpuei tlanghlaep te Manghai Puei kah khorha la om.
Beautiful in its elevation is Mount Zion, The joy of the whole earth; The joy of the farthest North is the city of the great king;
3 Te khopuei kah impuei ah Pathen amah te imsang la ha tueng.
In her palaces God is known as a refuge.
4 Manghai rhoek loh tuentah uh thae tih tun khong uh ke.
For, lo! kings were assembled against it; They passed away together.
5 Amih loh a hmuh uh vaengahngaihmang neh let uh tangkhuet tih tamto uh.
As soon as they saw, they were astonished; They were confounded, and hasted away.
6 Amih te thuennah loh cacun bungtloh bangla pahoi a phatawt.
There terror seized upon them, —Pain, as of a woman in travail;
7 Khothoeng yilh neh Tarshish sangpho te na phae.
As when the east wind breaketh in pieces The ships of Tarshish.
8 Mamih loh n'yaak uh vanbangla caempuei BOEIPA kah khopuei te m'hmuh uh van coeng. Mamih kah Pathen khopuei te Pathen amah loh kumhal la a thoh ni. (Selah)
As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God; God will establish it for ever. (Pause)
9 Na bawkim khui ah Pathen namah kah sitlohnah te ka poek uh.
We think of thy loving-kindness, O God! In the midst of thy temple!
10 Pathen namah ming bangla nang koehnah long khaw kho bawt duela boeih a pha tih na bantang kut ah duengnah soep.
As thy name, O God! so thy praise, extendeth to the ends of the earth; Thy right hand is full of righteousness.
11 Namah kah laitloeknah dongah Zion tlang loh a kohoe tih Judah nu rhoek khaw omngaih uh.
Mount Zion rejoiceth, The daughters of Judah exult, On account of thy righteous judgments.
12 Zion ke hil lamtah vael lah. A rhaltoengim rhoek te tae lah.
Go round about Zion; number her towers;
13 A rhalmahvong te na lungbuei ah kuem lah. Anih kah impuei te hmailong kah cadilcahma taengah na thui ham khaw hil lah.
Mark well her bulwarks; count her palaces; That ye may tell it to the next generation!
14 Ba dongah tikoinih tekah Pathen te kumhal ah mamih kah Pathen la om yoeyah. Amah loh duek duela mamih m'hmaithawn bitni.
For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide unto death.
