1 David kah ngaidamnah Tingtoenglung Aw BOEIPA, na thinhul neh kai n'tluung boel lamtah na kosi neh kai n'toel boeh.
A Psalme of Dauid for remembrance. O Lord, rebuke mee not in thine anger, neither chastise me in thy wrath.
2 Na thaltang loh kai dongah sap ha tlaeh tih na kut loh kai n'nan.
For thine arrowes haue light vpon me, and thine hand lyeth vpon me.
3 Nang kah kosi dongah ka pum he hlang la om voelpawh. Ka tholh dongah ka rhuh a sading pawh.
There is nothing sound in my flesh, because of thine anger: neither is there rest in my bones because of my sinne.
4 Kai kathaesainah loh ka lu hang khuk tih, kai ham hnophueih bangla a rhih loh n'nan.
For mine iniquities are gone ouer mine head, and as a weightie burden they are too heauie for me.
5 Ka anglat dongah, ka boengha rhong tih rhim coeng.
My woundes are putrified, and corrupt because of my foolishnes.
6 Ka ngam paihaeh tangkik hil khohnin yungah kopang neh ka van.
I am bowed, and crooked very sore: I goe mourning all the day.
7 Ka uen khaw boeih duih tih, ka pum he hlang la om voelpaawh.
For my reines are full of burning, and there is nothing sound in my flesh.
8 Ka lungmit tih ka paep dongah, lungbuei phoenanah neh mat ka kawk.
I am weakened and sore broken: I roare for the very griefe of mine heart.
9 Ka ngaihlihnah boeih he, ka Boeipa namah taengah ka hal tih, ka hueinah he namah taeng lamloh a thuh moenih.
Lord, I powre my whole desire before thee, and my sighing is not hid from thee.
10 Ka lungbuei a thimpom tih ka thadueng hnoeng. Te dongah ka mik khaw tueng pawh.
Mine heart panteth: my strength faileth me, and the light of mine eyes, euen they are not mine owne.
11 Ka tlohtat dongah ka lungnah ka paya rhoek loh saisai m'pai tak tih ka huiko khaw a hla lam ni a pai uh coeng.
My louers and my friends stand aside from my plague, and my kinsmen stand a farre off.
12 Ka hinglu aka mae rhoek loh n'hlaeh tih, kai yoethae puei ham aka tlap rhoek loh a talnah te a thui uh. Te dongah hlangthai palat rhoek loh hnin at puet n'taeng uh.
They also, that seeke after my life, laye snares, and they that go about to do me euil, talke wicked things and imagine deceite continually.
13 Tedae kai tah hnapang bangla ka ya voelpawt tih olmueh loh a ka a ang pawt bangla ka om.
But I as a deafe man heard not, and am as a dumme man, which openeth not his mouth.
14 Te dongah aka ya thai pawt tih a ka ah toelthamnah aka om pawt hlang bangla ka om.
Thus am I as a man, that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofes.
15 BOEIPA nang dongah ka hangdang tih nang loh nan doo bitni ka Boeipa ka Pathen aw
For on thee, O Lord, do I waite: thou wilt heare me, my Lord, my God.
16 Te dongah, “Ka kho he a paloe vaengah kai n'kohah thil uh tih kai soah pomsang uh ve,” ka ti.
For I said, Heare me, least they reioyce ouer me: for when my foote slippeth, they extol themselues against me.
17 Cungdonah ham ka tawn uh tih ka nganboh loh kamah taengah om taitu.
Surely I am ready to halte, and my sorow is euer before me.
18 Te dongah kai kathaesainah te ka doek. Kamah kah tholhnah dongah ka mawn.
When I declare my paine, and am sory for my sinne,
19 Tedae ka thunkha rhoek kah hingnah tah ting tih a honghi dongah ka lunguet loh pungtai.
Then mine enemies are aliue and are mightie, and they that hate me wrongfully are many.
20 Te dongah a then te a thae neh aka thuung rhoek loh kai n'khingkhoek vaengah a then te kamah loh ka vai rhoela ka vai.
They also, that rewarde euill for good, are mine aduersaries, because I follow goodnesse.
21 Ka BOEIPA Pathen aw, kai n'hno boel lamtah kai taeng lamkah n'lakhla tak boeh.
Forsake me not, O Lord: be not thou farre from me, my God.
22 Kai bomkung la ha tawn uh laeh ka loeihnah Boeipa.
Haste thee to helpe mee, O my Lord, my saluation.
