1 David kah Tingtoenglung neh aka mawt ham. BOEIPA nang dongah ka ying tih kumhal duela yah sak boeh. Na duengnah neh kai n'hlawt lah.
To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. In thee, Jehovah, do I trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2 Na hna te kai taengah rhep duen lamtah kai he tlek n'huul lah. Kai ham lunghim lungpang la, kai aka khang ham rhalvong im la om lah.
Incline thine ear to me, deliver me speedily; be a strong rock to me, a house of defence to save me.
3 Nang tah ka thaelpang neh ka rhalvong ni. Te dongah namah ming ham kai nan mawt tih nan khool.
For thou art my rock and my fortress; and, for thy name's sake, thou wilt lead me and guide me.
4 Namah te ka lunghim coeng dongah kai ham a tung uh lawk lamkah te nan doek.
Draw me out of the net that they have hidden for me; for thou art my strength.
5 Ka mueihla he na kut ah kan hlah tih oltak Pathen BOEIPA loh kai he nan lat.
Into thy hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, Jehovah, [thou] God of truth.
6 A poeyoek la a honghi aka ngaithuen khaw ka hmuhuet tih kai tah BOEIPA ni ka pangtung.
I have hated them that observe lying vanities; and as for me, I have confided in Jehovah.
7 Namah kah sitlohnah neh kai kah phacip phabaem te nan hmuh tih ka hinglu kah citcai te nan ming dongah ka omngaih vetih ka kohoe ni.
I will be glad and rejoice in thy loving-kindness, for thou hast seen mine affliction; thou hast known the troubles of my soul,
8 Te dongah kai he thunkha kut ah nan tloeng mueh la ka kho he a hoengpoeknah ah nan sut.
And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large place.
9 Konoinah dongah ka mik, ka hinglu neh ka bungko hmawn tih puen ka cak dongah kai n'rhen dae BOEIPA.
Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am in trouble: mine eye wasteth away with vexation, my soul and my belly.
10 Ka hingnah he kothae loh a ngawn tih ka hueinah neh ka kum thok. Kamah kathaesainah dongah ka thadueng yaai tih ka rhuh hmawn. Te vaengah tol long ah kai aka hmu kamah hmaiben rhoek te kai lamloh birhihnah neh yong uh.
For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength faileth through mine iniquity, and my bones are wasted.
11 Kamah puencak dongah hlang boeih neh ka imben kah kokhahnah la mat ka om.
More than to all mine oppressors, I am become exceedingly a reproach, even to my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that see me without flee from me.
12 Duek tangtae bangla a lungbuei ah kai n'hnilh. Am poo bangla ka om.
I am forgotten in [their] heart as a dead man; I am become like a broken vessel.
13 theetnah he kaepvai ah rhihnah la muep ka yaak. Amih te kai soah tingtun tih, ka hinglu loh hamla a mangtaeng uh.
For I have heard the slander of many — terror on every side — when they take counsel together against me: they plot to take away my life.
14 Tedae kai tah BOEIPA nang dongah ka pangtung tih nang te ka Pathen ni ka ti.
But I confided in thee, Jehovah; I said, thou art my God.
15 Ka khohnin he na kut dongah om. Ka thunkha kut neh kai aka hloem kut lamkah kai n'huul lah.
My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from my persecutors.
16 Na sal taengah na maelhmai te han sae sak lah. Na sitlohnah neh kai n'khang lah.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me in thy loving-kindness.
17 BOEIPA nang kan khue vaengah yah m'poh sak boeh. Halang rhoek te yahpok saeh lamtah saelkhui la duem uh saeh. (Sheol h7585)
Jehovah, let me not be ashamed; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, let them be silent in Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
18 Hlang dueng te hoemnah neh nueihbu la a hong aka thui mangkhak rhoek loh a kam khom saeh.
Let the lying lips become dumb, which speak insolently against the righteous in pride and contempt.
19 Namah aka rhih rhoek ham na khoem pah tih hlang capa rhoek hmuh ah namah dongla aka ying rhoek ham na saii pah na thennah he bahoeng len.
[Oh] how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, [which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee, before the sons of men!
20 Hlang kah tangkhuepnah lamkah na hmai kah a huephael ah amih te na thuh. Tuituknah ol lamkah pohlip ah amih te na khoem.
Thou keepest them concealed in the secret of thy presence from the conspiracies of man; thou hidest them in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
21 Khopuei vongup khuiah kai ham a sitlohnah khobaerhambae la a tueng dongah BOEIPA tah a yoethen pai.
Blessed be Jehovah; for he hath shewn me wondrously his loving-kindness in a strong city.
22 Te dongah ka tamto vaengah, “Na mikhmuh lamkah ka pat coeng,” ka ti. Tedae namah taengla ka pang vaengah ka huithuinah ol nan yaak.
As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes; nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
23 Amah kah hlangcim rhoek boeih loh BOEIPA te lungnah uh lah. Oltak te BOEIPA loh a kueinah tih hoemnah aka saii te a khawk la a thuung.
Love Jehovah, all ye his saints. Jehovah preserveth the faithful, and plentifully requiteth the proud doer.
24 BOEIPA dongah aka ngaiuep boeih loh thahuel uh lamtah na thinko cak sakuh.
Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all ye that hope in Jehovah.
