1 David kah Kai kah lungpang, BOEIPA nang te kan khue. Kai taengah olmueh boeh. Kai hamla na ngam vetih tangrhom ah aka suntlak neh n'thuidoek ve.
A Psalme of David. Unto thee, O Lord, doe I crie: O my strength, be not deafe toward mee, lest, if thou answere me not, I be like them that goe downe into the pit.
2 Nang taengah ka pang vaengah, namah hmuencim kah cangimphu benla kut ka dawn vaengah ka huithuinah ol he han ya lah.
Heare the voyce of my petitions, when I crie vnto thee, when I holde vp mine handes towarde thine holy Oracle.
3 Halang tih boethae aka saii rhoek neh kai he hmaih n'sol boeh. A hui taengah rhoepnah a thui dae a thinko khuiah thae.
Drawe mee not away with the wicked, and with the woorkers of iniquitie: which speake friendly to their neighbours, when malice is in their hearts.
4 Amih a bisai neh a khoboe thaenah vanbangla amih ham khueh pah. A kut bibi vanbangla amih neh aka tiing te hmoel lamtah amih taengah pae.
Reward them according to their deedes, and according to the wickednes of their inuentions: recompense them after the woorke of their handes: render them their reward.
5 BOEIPA kah thaphu neh a kut dongkah bibi a yakming uh pawt dongah amih te a koengloeng vetih koep suem mahpawh.
For they regarde not the woorkes of the Lord, nor the operation of his handes: therefore breake them downe, and builde them not vp.
6 Ka huithuinah ol a yaak dongah BOEIPA te a yoethen saeh.
Praised be the Lord, for he hath heard the voyce of my petitions.
7 BOEIPA tah ka sarhi neh ka photling ni. Amah te ka lungbuei loh a pangtung tih n'bom dongah ka lungbuei sundaep. Te dongah ka laa neh amah te ka uem ni.
The Lord is my strength and my shielde: mine heart trusted in him, and I was helped: therfore mine heart shall reioyce, and with my song will I praise him.
8 BOEIPA tah amih kah sarhi neh, a koelh hlang kah khangnah lunghim ni.
The Lord is their strength, and he is the strength of the deliuerances of his anointed.
9 Na pilnam te khang lamtah na rho te a yoethen saeh. Amih te luem puei lamtah amih te kumhal duela phuei lah.
Saue thy people, and blesse thine inheritance: feede them also, and exalt them for euer.
