[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high.

2 Nang aka bomkung te hmuencim lamkah han tueih saeh lamtah Zion lamkah nang n'duel saeh.

He will send you help from the sanctuary, and give you support from Zion.

3 Na khosaa boeih te han poek saeh lamtah na hmueihhlutnah te han doe saeh. (Selah)

He will remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. (Selah)

4 Namah thinko bangla nang taengah m'pae saeh lamtah na cilsuep boeih khaw han soep sak saeh.

He will grant you your heart's desire, and fulfill all your plans.

5 Nang kah khangnah dongah ka tamhoe uh vetih, mamih kah Pathen ming neh hnitai ka tai uh ni. Na huithuinah boeih te BOEIPA loh han soep sak saeh.

We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May the LORD grant all your requests.

6 Amah kah a koelh te BOEIPA loh a khang tih a bantang kah daemnah thayung thamal neh vaan hmuencim lamkah a doo tila ka ming.

Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with a mighty act of deliverance by his right hand.

7 Leng dongkah rhoek neh marhang dongkah rhoek khaw om uh dae kaimih tah mamih BOEIPA Pathen ming ni ka thoel uh.

Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of the LORD our God.

8 Amih te kha uh tih cungku uh cakhaw mamih tah n'thoo uh tih n'rhalrhing uh.

They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright.

9 Aw BOEIPA manghai ke han khang lamtah tihnin ah ka khue uh te khaw han doo saeh.

Save, LORD. Let the King answer us when we call.
