1 [David kah Tingtoenglung] Aw BOEIPA nang kah dap ah unim aka bakuep eh? Na tlang cim dongah unim kho aka sa?

A psalm of David. Lord, who can be guest in your tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?

2 Cuemthuek la aka pongpa tih duengnah aka saii neh a thinko dang lamkah oltak aka thui,

The person whose walk is blameless, whose conduct is right, whose words are true and sincere;

3 a lai neh aka thainawn mueh, a hui taengah a thae aka saii mueh neh a hui te kokhahnah aka khueh pawh,

on whose tongue there sits no slander, who will not harm a friend,

4 Amah mikhmuh ah a sawtsit te a hnaep. Tedae BOEIPA aka rhih te a oep dongah talh sak ham toemngam cakhaw aka voei mueh,

nor cruelly insult a neighbor, who regards with contempt those rejected by God; but honors those who obey the Lord, who keeps an oath, whatever the cost,

5 A tangka a casai la aka pu pawh, ommongsitoe taengkah kapbaih aka lo pawh, he rhoek boeih aka saii tah kumhal ah tuen mahpawh.

whose money is lent without interest, and never takes a bribe to hurt the innocent. The person who does these things will always stand firm.
