1 David kah Tingtoenglung. Aw BOEIPA, ka thangthuinah he hnatun lah. Na uepomnah dongah ka huithuinah he hnakaeng lamtah na duengnah neh kai n'doo lah.
A Psalme of David. Heare my prayer, O Lord, and hearken vnto my supplication: answer me in thy trueth and in thy righteousnes.
2 Tedae mulhing boeih he namah mikhmuh ah a tang oeh pawt dongah na sal he khaw laitloeknah khuila na thak moenih.
(And enter not into iudgement with thy seruant: for in thy sight shall none that liueth, be iustified)
3 Thunkha loh ka hinglu a hloem tih ka hingnah diklai ah a phop. Khosuen kah aka duek bangla khohmuep ah kai kho n'sak sak.
For the enemie hath persecuted my soule: he hath smitten my life downe to the earth: he hath layde me in the darkenes, as they that haue bene dead long agoe:
4 Te dongah ka mueihla loh ka khuiah rhae tih ka lungbuei khaw ka khui ah pong coeng.
And my spirit was in perplexitie in me, and mine heart within me was amased.
5 Hlamat kah khohnin ka poek tih na bisai boeih te ka thuep vaengah na kut dongkah bitat te ka lolmang thil. (Selah)
Yet do I remember the time past: I meditate in all thy workes, yea, I doe meditate in the workes of thine hands.
6 Namah taengah ni ka kut ka phuel. Ka hinglu he bumueh rhathih hmuen kah bangla namah taengah om. (Selah)
I stretche forth mine hands vnto thee: my soule desireth after thee, as the thirstie land. (Selah)
7 BOEIPA aw, ka mueihla a khum he tokthuet lamtah kai n'doo lah. Kai lamloh na maelhmai thuh boel mai. Tangrhom kah ka suntla banghui la ka om van ve.
Heare me spedely, O Lord, for my spirit faeleth: hide not thy face from me, els I shall be like vnto them that go downe into the pit.
8 Namah dongah ka pangtung vanbangla na sitlohnah neh mincang ah kai n'hnatun lah. Ka caeh ham longpuei te kai ming sak lah. Ka hinglu he namah taengah kan tloeng coeng.
Let me heare thy louing kindenes in the morning, for in thee is my trust: shewe mee the waie, that I should walke in, for I lift vp my soule vnto thee.
9 BOEIPA namah dongah ka kuep vanbangla ka thunkha kut lamloh kai n'huul lah.
Deliuer me, O Lord, from mine enemies: for I hid me with thee.
10 Ka Pathen la na om dongah na kolonah saii ham kai n'tukkil lah. Na Mueihla then loh tlangkol diklai ah kai m'mawt saeh.
Teach me to do thy will, for thou art my God: let thy good Spirit leade me vnto the land of righteousnes.
11 BOEIPA namah ming ham ni na duengnah dongah kai nan hing sak. Ka hinglu khaw citcai lamkah ni na doek.
Quicken me, O Lord, for thy Names sake, and for thy righteousnes bring my soule out of trouble.
12 Te dongah ka thunkha khaw na sitlohnah neh na biit tih na sal kai ham tah ka hinglu aka daengdaeh boeih te na paltham sak.
And for thy mercy slay mine enemies, and destrie all them that oppresse my soule: for I am thy seruant.
