1 Amah kah sitlohnah he kumhal duela a then dongah BOEIPA te uem uh lah.
Tell Yahweh that you thank him very much for the good [things that he has done for you] He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever.
2 A sitlohnah he kumhal due ham ni tila Israel loh thui laeh saeh.
You Israeli [people] should [repeatedly] shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
3 A sitlohnah he kumhal due ham ni tila Aron imkhui loh thui uh laeh saeh.
You [priests] who are descendants of Aaron should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves us, his people, forever!”
4 A sitlohnah he kumhal due ham ni tila BOEIPA aka rhih rhoek loh thui uh laeh saeh.
All you who revere him should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
5 Longcaek ah khaw BOEIPA ka khue tih BOEIPA loh a hoengpoeknah la kai n'doo.
When I was distressed, I called out to Yahweh, and he answered me and set me free [from my worries/troubles].
6 BOEIPA he kai taengah a om dongah ka rhih mahpawh. Hlang loh kai taengah balae a saii thai eh?
Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), so I will not be afraid [of anything]. No one [RHQ] can do anything that will [prevent God from blessing] me forever.
7 BOEIPA tah kai taengah kai aka bom la a om dongah kai loh ka lunguet rhoek te ka sawt pueng ni.
[Yes], Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), [so] I will look triumphantly at my enemies [while he defeats them].
8 Hlang dongah pangtung lakah BOEIPA dongah ying te then ngai.
It is better to trust in Yahweh than to (depend on/trust in) people.
9 Hlangcong dongah pangtung lakah BOEIPA dongah n'ying te then ngai.
It is better to trust Yahweh to protect [us] than to trust [that influential/important] people [will protect us].
10 Namtom boeih loh kai m'vael uh coeng dae amih te BOEIPA ming neh ka tloek uh.
Armies of [MTY] many nations surrounded me, [but] Yahweh enabled me to defeat them by his power [MTY].
11 Amih loh kai m'vael khaw m'vael uh ngawn dae BOEIPA ming neh ka tloek van.
They completely surrounded me, [but] I defeated them all by the power of Yahweh.
12 Khoi bangla kai te m'ven uh cakhaw amih te BOEIPA ming neh ka tloek dongah hling hmai bangla thi uh.
They swarmed around me like [angry] bees; they were like a fire that blazes strongly, but only briefly, in a thornbush, [but] I defeated them by the power [MTY] that Yahweh gave me.
13 Kai he cungku sak hamla nan tulh khaw nan tulh uh dae BOEIPA loh kai m'bom.
[My enemies] attacked me fiercely and almost defeated me, but Yahweh helped me.
14 BOEIPA tah ka sarhi neh ka laa la om tih kai ham khangnah la om.
Yahweh is the one who makes me strong, and he is the one about whom I [always] sing; he has saved me [from my enemies].
15 BOEIPA bantang ah thadueng aka khueh, hlang dueng kah dap khuiah tamlung ol neh khangnah om.
Listen to the joyful songs of victory being sung in the tents of godly/righteous people! They sing, “Yahweh has defeated our enemies by his mighty power [MTY];
16 BOEIPA loh bantang kut a thueng. BOEIPA kah bantang kut loh caem a saii.
he has raised his strong right arm [to show he has defeated his enemies]. Yahweh has completely defeated them!”
17 Ka duek pawt vetih ka hing pueng ni. Te dongah BOEIPA kah bibi te ka doek ni.
I will not be killed [in battle]; I will live to proclaim the great things that Yahweh has done.
18 BOEIPA loh kai n'toel khaw n'toel coeng. Tedae dueknah dongah kai n'khueh moenih.
Yahweh has punished me severely, but he has not allowed (me to die/[my enemies] to kill me).
19 Kai ham duengnah vongka hang ong lah. Te long te ka kun saeh lamtah BOEIPA ka uem eh.
[You gatekeepers], open for me the gates of the temple in order that I may enter and thank Yahweh.
20 He tah BOEIPA kah vongka ni. Anih he aka dueng rhoek loh paan uh saeh.
Those are the gates [through which we enter the temple to worship] Yahweh; godly/righteous people enter those gates.
21 Kai nan doo tih kai ham khangnah la na om dongah namah te ka uem ni.
[Yahweh], I thank you that you answered my prayer, and you saved me [from my enemies].
22 Im aka sa rhoek loh a hnawt uh lungto te bangkil soi la pawk.
[Yahweh’s promised/chosen king is like] [MET] the stone which the builders rejected [when they were building a house], [but that stone] became the (cornerstone/most important stone in the building).
23 He he BOEIPA taeng lamkah ni halo. Te khaw mamih mikhmuh ah khobaerhambae la om.
(This was done by Yahweh/Yahweh has done this), and it is a wonderful thing for us to see.
24 He he BOEIPA kah a saii khohnin ni, omngaih uh sih lamtah amah dongah kohoe sak uh lah sih.
This is the day in which [we remember that] Yahweh acted [powerfully to defeat our enemies]; we will rejoice and be glad/happy today.
25 Aw BOEIPA n'khang laeh. Aw BOEIPA n'thaihtak sak laeh.
Yahweh, we plead with you to [keep] rescuing us [from our enemies]. Yahweh, please help us (accomplish/do well) [what we want to do].
26 BOEIPA ming neh aka lo tah a yoethen pai. BOEIPA im lamkah nangmih te yoethen kam paekuh.
Yahweh, bless the one who will come with your authority [MTY]. And from the temple we (bless/[ask Yahweh to] bless) all of you.
27 BOEIPA tah Pathen ni. Mamih taengah ha sae tih khotue hmueih te hmueihtuk ki dongah rhuivaeh neh a khih uh.
Yahweh is God, and he has caused his light to shine on us. Come, carrying [palm] branches, and join the people [who are starting] the festival as they go to the altar.
28 Nang tah ka Pathen ni. Te dongah ka Pathen namah te kang uem vetih kan pomsang ni.
[Yahweh], you are the God whom I [worship], and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will tell [everyone] that you are great!
29 A sitlohnah he kumhal due ham a then dongah BOEIPA te uem uh lah.
Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us] He will faithfully love [us] forever.
