“Conduct a census of the male descendants of Kohath from among the Levites, by their clans and families.
3 Kum sawmthum ca lamloh. a so hang neh kum sawmnga ca hil tah tingtunnah dap ah bitat saii ham caempuei la boeih kun saeh.
Count all the men who are thirty to fifty years old. These men must join the company to serve in the tent of meeting.
4 Tingtunnah dap khuiah hmuencim kah hmuencim koek ah Kohath koca kah thothuengnah tah he coeng ni.
The descendants of Kohath must take care of the most holy things reserved for me in the tent of meeting.
5 Lambong a thoeih vaengah Aaron neh anih koca rhoek te kun uh saeh. Te vaengah himbaiyan dongkah hniyan te dul uh saeh lamtah laipainah thingkawng te khuk thil saeh.
When the camp prepares to move forward, Aaron and his sons must go into the tent, take down the curtain that separates the most holy place from the holy place and cover the ark of the testimony with it.

“Do not allow the Kohathite tribal clans to be removed from among the Levites.

Protect them, that they may live and not die, by doing this. When they approach the most holy things

“Conduct a census of the descendants of Gershon also, by their ancestor's families and by their clans.
23 Capa kum sawmthum lamloh. a so hang loh kum sawmnga ca hil soep pah. Amih te tingtunnah dap ah caempuei la thohtat ham neh thothuengnah dongah thothueng ham boeih ha pawk uh saeh.
Count those who are thirty years old to fifty years old. Count all of them who will join the company to serve in the tent of meeting.
24 He thothuengnah he Gershon cako kah a thothueng neh. a hnophueih la om saeh.
This is the work of the clans of the Gershonites, when they serve and what they carry.

37 Tingtunnah dap ah tho aka thueng Kohathi cako boeih he. a soep vaengah Moses kut dongkah BOEIPA ol bangla Moses neh Aaron loh a soep.
Moses and Aaron counted all the men in the clans and families of the Kohathites who serve in the tent of meeting. In doing this, they obeyed what Yahweh had commanded them to do through Moses.
38 Gershon koca te a cako la a napa rhoek, imkhui lamloh,
The descendants of Gershon were counted in their clans, by their ancestor's families,
39 kum sawmthum ca lamloh. a so hang neh kum sawmnga ca hil tingtunnah dap kah thothuengnah dongah caempuei la aka kun boeih te a soep.
from thirty to fifty years old, everyone who would join the company to serve in the tent of meeting.
40 Anmih te a cako la a napa imkhui neh. a soep vaengah thawng hnih ya rhuk sawmthum lo uh.
All the men, counted by their clans and their ancestor's families, numbered 2,630.
41 Tingtunnah dap ah aka thotat Gershon koca cako boeih he. a soep vaengah BOEIPA ol bangla Moses neh Aaron loh a soep.
Moses and Aaron counted the clans of the descendants of Gershon who would serve in the tent of meeting. In doing this, they obeyed what Yahweh had commanded them to do through Moses.
42 Te dongah Merari koca cako te a napa rhoek, imkhui neh a cako te a tae.
The descendants of Merari were counted in their clans by their ancestor's families,
43 Kum sawmthum ca lamloh. a so hang kum sawmnga ca hil, tingtunnah dap kah thothuengnah dongah caempuei la aka kun boeih te a tae.

44 Amih te a soep vaengah a cako ah thawng thum neh yahnih lo.
All the men, counted by their clans and their ancestor's families, numbered 3,200.

Moses and Aaron counted all these men, the descendants of Merari. In doing this, they obeyed what Yahweh had commanded them to do through Moses.
46 Moses, Aaron neh Israel khoboei rhoek loh a soep Levi te a cako neh a napa rhoek, imkhui khaw boeih a soep uh.
So Moses, Aaron, and the leaders of Israel counted all the Levites by their clans in their ancestral families
