Yahweh said to Moses/me,
2 “Israel carhoek, te uen lamtah amih te thui pah. Nangmih Kanaan khohmuen la aka kun rhoek aw, khohmuen he tah nangmih ham Kanaan khohmuenkah, rho la a rhibawn neh ha yalh bitni.
“Tell this to the Israeli people: You will soon enter Canaan land, and it will become yours. These will be the borders of the land:
3 Tuithim baengki ah Zin khosoek lamloh Edom ngong phai Edom te nangmih ham om bitni. Tuithim khorhi tah lungkaeh li. a bawt lamloh khothoeng hil nangmih ham om bitni.
On the south you will receive part of the Zin Desert, near the border of the Edom [region]. On the east side, the border will start at the south end of the Dead Sea.
4 Nangmih ham khorhi tah tuithim kah Akrabbim kham ah. a hil vetih Zin. a poeng duela om ni. Te phoeiah Kadeshbarnea tuithim lamloh a hmoi ah pawk vetih Hazaraddar. a pha phoeiah Azmon la pawk ni.
It will extend to a little south of the Scorpion Pass, and extend [west] through [the] Zin [Desert] and south of Kadesh-Barnea. From there it will extend to Hazar Addar and from there to Azmon.
5 Azmon lamkah soklong khorhi te Egypt la. a hil vetih a bawtnah tuipuei ah om ni.
From Azmon it will extend [west] to the dry riverbed [at the border] of Egypt and then to the [Mediterranean] Sea.
6 Khotlakkah, khorhi te khaw tuipuei len hil te nangmih ham om vetih khotlak khorhi te nangmih ham khorhi la om ni.
The border on the west will be the Mediterranean Sea.
7 Tlangpuei khorhi te tuipuei len lamloh nangmih ham om vetih Hor tlang te namamih ham thuun thiluh.
The border on the north will start from the Mediterranean Sea and extend [east] to Hor Mountain.
8 Hor tlang lamloh Lebokhamath te thuun uh lamtah khorhi hmoi te Zedad la pawk saeh.
From there it will extend to Lebo-Hamath and then to Zedad.
9 Te phoeiah khorhi te Ziphron la pawk vetih Hazarenan ah a bawt om ni. He tah nangmih ham tlangpueikah, khorhi la om ni.
From there the border will extend to Ziphron, and it will end at Hazar-Enan.
10 Khothoengkah, khorhi te Hazarenan lamloh Shepham duela nangmih ham thuun sak.
The border on the east will start at Hazar-Enan and extend [south] to Shepham.
11 Riblah Shepham lamkah khorhi te Ayin khothoeng ah suntla saeh lamtah khorhi aka suntla te khothoeng kah Kinnereth tuipueikah, hlaep la khoe saeh.
From there it will extend east of Ain to Riblah and then along the hills that are east of Galilee Lake.
12 Khorhi te Jordan la suntla bal saeh lamtah a bawtnah te lungkaeh li ah om saeh. He tah khohmuen kaepvai ah nangmih ham rhilung la om ni,” a ti nah.
Then the border will extend south along the Jordan [River] and end at the Dead Sea. Those will be the borders around your country.”
13 Te phoeiah Moses loh Israel carhoek, te. a uen tih, “BOEIPA loh koca pako neh koca rhakthuem taengah paek ham. a uen vanbangla khohmuen he hmulung neh tael uh.
So Moses/I [told all that] to the Israeli people. Then he/I said to them, “That is the land that you will receive. You must throw (lots/stones that have been marked) to decide which area will go to each of the nine and a half tribes, because Yahweh has commanded that it should be divided among them.
14 A napa rhoek kah imsawn tarhing ah Reuben ca rhoek kah koca neh a naparhoek, imsawn tarhing ah Gad carhoek, koca loh a yo uh. Amihkah, rho te Manasseh koca rhakthuem. a loh.
The tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of the tribe of Manasseh have already received the land in which they will live.
15 Koca panit neh koca rhakthuem loh a rho te khothoeng ah khocuk kah Jerikho Jordan kah rhalvangan ah a doe uh coeng,” a ti nah.
They have received land on the east side of the Jordan [River], across from Jericho.”
16 BOEIPA loh Moses te. a voek tih,
Then Yahweh said to Moses/me,
17 Hekah, ming aka om hlang rhoi, khosoih Eleazar neh Nun capa Joshua loh nangmih ham khohmuen han tael bitni.
“These are the men who will divide the land: First, Eleazar and Joshua.
18 Khoboei khaw koca pakhat lamloh khoboei pakhat tah khohmuen aka tael la lo.
But one leader [from each of the twelve tribes will help them divide the land].
19 He hlang rhoek a ming tah, Judah koca lamloh Jephunneh capa Kaleb,
“From the tribe of Judah, appoint Jephunneh’s son Caleb. From the tribe of Simeon appoint Ammihud’s son Shemuel. From the tribe of Benjamin appoint Kislon’s son Elidad. From the tribe of Dan appoint Jogli’s son Bukki. From the tribe of Manasseh appoint Ephod’s son Hanniel. From the tribe of Ephraim appoint Shiphtan’s son Kemuel. From the tribe of Zebulun appoint Parnach’s son Elizaphan. From the tribe of Issachar appoint Azzan’s son Paltiel. From the tribe of Asher appoint Shelomi’s son Ahihud. From the tribe of Naphtali appoint Ammihud’s son Pedahel.”

21 Benjamin koca lamloh Khislon capa Elidad,
22 Dan carhoek, koca kah khoboei Jogli capa Bukki,
23 Joseph capa Manasseh ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Ephod capa khoboei Hanniel,
24 Ephraim ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Shiphtan capa khoboei Kemuel,
25 Zebulun ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Parnach capa khoboei Elizaphan,
26 Issakhar ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Azzan capa khoboei Paltiel,
27 Asher ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Shelomi capa khoboei Ahihud,
28 Naphtali ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Ammihud capa khoboei Pedahel saeh,” a ti nah.
29 Terhoek, te Kanaan khohmuen ah Israel carhoek, phaeng sak ham BOEIPA loh a uen.
Yahweh commanded that all those were the men who should divide the Canaan region among the Israeli people.
