And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,

“Command the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When you are coming into the land of Canaan—this [is] the land which falls to you by inheritance, the land of Canaan, by its borders—
3 Tuithim baengkiah Zin khosoek lamloh Edom ngong phai Edom te nangmih ham om bitni. Tuithim khorhi tah lungkaeh lia bawt lamloh khothoeng hil nangmih ham om bitni.
then the south quarter has been to you from the wilderness of Zin, by the sides of Edom, indeed, the south border has been to you from the extremity of the Salt Sea eastward;
4 Nangmih ham khorhi tah tuithim kah Akrabbim kham aha hil vetih Zina poeng duela om ni. Te phoeiah Kadeshbarnea tuithim lamloh a hmoiah pawk vetih Hazaraddara pha phoeiah Azmon la pawk ni.
and the border has turned around to you from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and has passed on to Zin, and its outgoings have been from the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and it has gone out at Hazar-Addar, and has passed on to Azmon;
5 Azmon lamkah soklong khorhite Egypt laa hil vetih a bawtnah tuipuei ah om ni.
and the border has turned around from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and its outgoings have been at the sea.
6 Khotlak kah khorhite khaw tuipuei len hil te nangmih ham om vetih khotlak khorhite nangmih ham khorhi la om ni.
As for the west border, even the Great Sea has been a border to you; this is the west border to you.
7 Tlangpuei khorhite tuipuei len lamloh nangmih ham om vetih Hor tlangte namamih ham thuun thiluh.
And this is the north border to you: from the Great Sea you mark out for yourselves Mount Hor;
8 Hor tlang lamloh Lebokhamathte thuun uh lamtah khorhi hmoite Zedad la pawk saeh.
from Mount Hor you mark out to go to Hamath, and the outgoings of the border have been to Zedad;
9 Te phoeiah khorhite Ziphron la pawk vetih Hazarenanah a bawt om ni. He tah nangmih ham tlangpuei kah khorhi la om ni.
and the border has gone out to Ziphron, and its outgoings have been at Hazar-Enan; this is the north border to you.
10 Khothoeng kah khorhite Hazarenan lamloh Shepham duela nangmih ham thuun sak.
And you have marked out for yourselves for the border eastward, from Hazar-Enan to Shepham;
11 Riblah Shepham lamkah khorhite Ayin khothoeng ah suntla saeh lamtah khorhi aka suntlate khothoeng kah Kinnereth tuipuei kah hlaep la khoe saeh.
and the border has gone down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east of Ain, and the border has gone down, and has struck against the shoulder of the Sea of Chinnereth eastward;
12 Khorhite Jordan la suntla bal saeh lamtah a bawtnahte lungkaeh liah om saeh. He tah khohmuen kaepvaiah nangmih ham rhilung la om ni,” a ti nah.
and the border has gone down to the Jordan, and its outgoings have been at the Salt Sea; this is the land for you by its borders all around.”
13 Te phoeiah Moses loh Israel carhoek tea uen tih, “BOEIPA loh koca pako neh koca rhakthuem taengah paek hama uen vanbangla khohmuen he hmulung neh tael uh.
And Moses commands the sons of Israel, saying, “This [is] the land which you inherit by lot, which YHWH has commanded to give to the nine tribes and the half of the tribe;
14 A napa rhoek kah imsawn tarhingah Reuben ca rhoek kah koca neh a naparhoek imsawn tarhingah Gad carhoek kocaloh a yo uh. Amih kah rhote Manasseh koca rhakthuema loh.
for the tribe of the sons of Reuben, by the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad, by the house of their fathers, have received [their inheritance]; and [those of] the half of the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance;
15 Koca panit neh koca rhakthuem loh a rho te khothoeng ah khocuk kah Jerikho Jordan kah rhalvangan ah a doe uh coeng,” a ti nah.
the two tribes and the half of the tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan, [near] Jericho, eastward, at the [sun]-rising.”
16 BOEIPA loh Moses tea voek tih,
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
17 He kah ming aka om hlang rhoi, khosoih Eleazar neh Nun capa Joshua loh nangmih ham khohmuen han tael bitni.
“These [are] the names of the men who give the inheritance of the land to you: Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun.
18 Khoboei khaw koca pakhat lamloh khoboei pakhat tah khohmuen aka tael la lo.
And one prince—you take one prince from a tribe to give the land by inheritance.
19 He hlang rhoek a ming tah, Judah koca lamloh Jephunneh capa Kaleb,
And these [are] the names of the men: of the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;
20 Simeon ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Ammihud capa Samuel,
and of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Aminihud;
21 Benjamin koca lamloh Khislon capa Elidad,
of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;
22 Dan carhoek koca kah khoboei Jogli capa Bukki,
and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Dan, Bukki son of Jogli;
23 Joseph capa Manasseh ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Ephod capa khoboei Hanniel,
of the sons of Joseph, a prince of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, Hanniel son of Ephod;
24 Ephraim ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Shiphtan capa khoboei Kemuel,
and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, Kemuel son of Shiphtan;
25 Zebulun ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Parnach capa khoboei Elizaphan,
and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, Elizaphan son of Parnach;
26 Issakhar ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Azzan capa khoboei Paltiel,
and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, Paltiel son of Azzan;
27 Asher ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Shelomi capa khoboei Ahihud,
and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Asher, Ahihud son of Shelomi;
28 Naphtali ca rhoek kah koca lamloh Ammihud capa khoboei Pedahel saeh,” a ti nah.
and a prince of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, Pedahel son of Ammihud.”
29 Terhoek te Kanaan khohmuen ah Israel carhoek phaeng sak ham BOEIPAloh a uen.
These [are] those whom YHWH has commanded to give the sons of Israel inheritance in the land of Canaan.
