Te phoeiah anih aka hloep la a ca tongpa rhoek boeih neh a ca huta rhoek boeih khaw halo uh dae a hloep ham khaw a aal. “Ka capa taengah saelkhui la rhahdoe cangpoem neh ka suntla ni,” a ti nah tih Joseph kah a napa te rhap. (Sheol )
and all his sons and all his daughters rise to comfort him, and he refuses to comfort himself, and says, “For I go down to my son mourning, to Sheol,” and his father weeps for him. (Sheol )
Tedae anih loh, “Ka ca te a maya duek tih amah bueng a sueng dongah nangmih taengla ha suntla boel saeh. Longpueng na caeh uh vaengah yoethae puei vetih kai sampok he saelkhui ah kothae la nan hla uh ve,” a ti nah. (Sheol )
and he says, “My son does not go down with you, for his brother [is] dead, and he by himself is left; when harm has met him in the way in which you go, then you have brought down my grey hairs in sorrow to Sheol.” (Sheol )
Anih he khaw ka mikhmuh lamkah na khuen uh tih anih loh yoethae puei bal koinih kai sampok he saelkhui ah a thae la nan hla uh ve,’ a ti. (Sheol )
when you have taken also this from my presence, and harm has met him, then you have brought down my grey hairs with evil to Sheol. (Sheol )
camoe te hah a sawt vaengah duek koinih na sal rhoek loh a pa sampok na sal te saelkhui ah kothae la ka hlak uh la vik poeh ni. (Sheol )
then it has come to pass, when he sees that the youth is not, that he has died, and your servants have brought down the grey hairs of your servant our father with sorrow to Sheol; (Sheol )
Tedae BOEIPA loh hnothai a suen tih diklai loh a ka a ang khaming. Te vaengah amamih neh amih taengkah a cungkuem te dolh saeh lamtah a hingnah te saelkhui la suntla uh saeh. Te vaengah he kah hlang rhoek loh BOEIPA a tlaitlaek uh te na ming uh bitni,” a ti nah. (Sheol )
but if YHWH does a strange thing, and the ground has opened her mouth and swallowed them and all that they have, and they have gone down alive to Sheol, then you have known that these men have despised YHWH.” (Sheol )
Amih neh amih taengkah boeih te saelkhui ah a hing la a suntlak uh phoeiah tah amih te diklai loh a et tih hlangping lakli lamloh milh uh. (Sheol )
and they go down—they and all that they have—alive to Sheol, and the earth closes over them, and they perish from the midst of the assembly; (Sheol )
Ka thintoek te hmai la ka hlae vetih Saelkhui laedil la ung kangna saeh. Diklai neh a cangpai khaw ung saeh lamtah tlang yung khaw hlawp kangna saeh. (Sheol )
For a fire has been kindled in My anger, And it burns to the lowest [part] of Sheol, And consumes earth and its increase, And sets on fire [the] foundations of mountains. (Sheol )
BOEIPA loh a duek sak tih, a hing sak. Saelkhui la a det coeng dae koep a thoh bal. (Sheol )
YHWH puts to death, and keeps alive, He brings down to Sheol, and brings up. (Sheol )
Saelkhui kah rhui loh kai m'ven tih, dueknah hlaeh loh kai m'mah. (Sheol )
The cords of Sheol have surrounded me, The snares of death have been before me. (Sheol )
Te dongah na cueihnah bangla saii lamtah a sampok te Saelkhui ah ngaimong la suntlak sak boeh. (Sheol )
and you have done according to your wisdom, and do not let his old age go down in peace to Sheol. (Sheol )
Tedae nang hlang cueih loh anih taengah hmil boeh. Anih taengah metla saii ham khaw na ming bitni. A sampok te saelkhui ah a thii neh suntlak sak,” a ti nah. (Sheol )
and now, do not acquit him, for you [are] a wise man, and you have known that which you do to him, and have brought down his old age with blood to Sheol.” (Sheol )
Cingmai loh haai tih cing, saelkhui la aka suntla rhoek tah ha mael tangloeng pawh. (Sheol )
A cloud has been consumed, and it goes, So he who is going down to Sheol does not come up. (Sheol )
Vaan la a sang te metlam na saii eh? Saelkhui lakah a dung te metlam na ming eh? (Sheol )
Heights of the heavens—what [can] you do? Deeper than Sheol—what [can] you know? (Sheol )
Unim saelkhui ah a paek lah ve? Kai he nan khoem lah vetih na thintoek a mael duela kai nan thuh lah mako. Kai hamla oltlueh na khueh vetih kai nan poek mako. (Sheol )
O that You would conceal me in Sheol, Hide me until the turning of Your anger, Set a limit for me, and remember me. (Sheol )
Saelkhui te ka im bangla ka lamtawn tih, hmaisuep ah ka rhaenghmuen ka saelh. (Sheol )
If I wait—Sheol [is] my house, In darkness I have spread out my bed. (Sheol )
Saelkhui thohka te suntla vetih laipi khuila rhenten n'ael aya?,” a ti. (Sheol )
You go down [to] the parts of Sheol, If we may rest together on the dust.” (Sheol )
Amamih vaengkah tue then khuiah muei uh tih hmawn uh. Mikhaptok ah saelkhui la ael uh. (Sheol )
They wear out their days in good, And in a moment go down [to] Sheol. (Sheol )
Rhamrhae neh kholing ah, tui khaw rhaeng tih vuelsong khaw saelkhui ah tholh coeng. (Sheol )
Drought—also heat—consume snow-waters, Sheol—[those who] have sinned. (Sheol )
A taengah saelkhui khaw pumtling om tih Abaddon khaw himbai om pawh. (Sheol )
Sheol [is] naked before Him, And there is no covering to destruction. (Sheol )
Dueknah khuiah nang aka poek te a om moenih. Nang te saelkhui lamkah ulong n'uem eh? (Sheol )
For in death there is no memorial of You, In Sheol, who gives thanks to You? (Sheol )
Pathen aka hnilh namtom boeih neh halang rhoek te Saelkhui la voei uh ni. (Sheol )
The wicked turn back to Sheol, All nations forgetting God. (Sheol )

For You do not leave my soul to Sheol, Nor give your Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol )

Cords of Sheol have surrounded me, Snares of death have been before me. (Sheol )

YHWH, You have brought up my soul from Sheol, You have kept me alive, From going down [to] the pit. (Sheol )

O YHWH, do not let me be ashamed, For I have called You, let the wicked be ashamed, Let them become silent to Sheol. (Sheol )

They have set themselves as sheep for Sheol, Death afflicts them, And the upright rule over them in the morning, And their form [is] for consumption. Sheol [is] a dwelling for him. (Sheol )

Only, God ransoms my soul from the hand of Sheol, For He receives me. (Selah) (Sheol )
Amih ko khuiah khaw, a lampahnah ah khaw thae uh. Te dongah amih te dueknah loh dueknah neh phae saeh lamtah, a hingnah te saelkhui la suntla uh saeh. (Sheol )
Desolations [are] on them, They go down [to] Sheol—alive, For wickedness [is] in their dwelling, in their midst. (Sheol )
Na sitlohnah loh kai ham len tih saelkhui hmui lamkah ka hinglu na huul. (Sheol )
For Your kindness [is] great toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol )

For my soul has been full of evils, And my life has come to Sheol. (Sheol )

Who [is] the man that lives, and does not see death? He delivers his soul from the hand of Sheol. (Selah) (Sheol )

Cords of death have surrounded me, And straits of Sheol have found me, I find distress and sorrow. (Sheol )

If I ascend the heavens—You [are] there, And spread out a bed in Sheol, behold, You! (Sheol )

As one tilling and ripping up in the land, Have our bones been scattered at the command of Saul. (Sheol )

We swallow them as Sheol—alive, And whole—as those going down [to] the pit, (Sheol )
A kho te dueknah khuila suntla tih a khokan loh saelkhui la a doek. (Sheol )
Her feet are going down to death, Her steps take hold of Sheol. (Sheol )
A im khaw saelkhui longpuei ah om tih dueknah imkhui la suntla pai. (Sheol )
The ways of Sheol—her house, Going down to inner chambers of death! (Sheol )
Tedae saelkhui laedil ah sairhai pahoi a khue pah te ming pawh. (Sheol )
And he has not known that Rephaim [are] there, Her invited ones in deep places of Sheol! (Sheol )
Saelkhui neh Abaddon pataeng BOEIPA hmaiah a phoe atah, hlang ca rhoek kah lungbuei aisat te. (Sheol )
Sheol and destruction [are] before YHWH, Surely also the hearts of the sons of men. (Sheol )
Hlang aka cangbam ham tah saelkhui laedil lamloh hoeptlang hamla hingnah caehlong om hang. (Sheol )
A path of life [is] on high for the wise, To turn aside from Sheol beneath. (Sheol )
Nang loh caitueng neh na taam cakhaw, a hinglu ni saelkhui lamkah na huul pah. (Sheol )
You strike him with a rod, And you deliver his soul from Sheol. (Sheol )
Saelkhui neh Abaddon, Abaddon long tah hah rhoi tlaih pawh. Hlang kah a mik he khaw hah tlaih pawh. (Sheol )
Sheol and destruction are not satisfied, And the eyes of man are not satisfied. (Sheol )
Saelkhui neh caya kah a bung, tui aka hah pawh diklai, rhoeh aka ti tlaih pawh hmai pawn ni. (Sheol )
Sheol, and a restrained womb, Earth—it [is] not satisfied [with] water, And fire—it has not said, “Sufficiency,” (Sheol )
Na kut loh saii hamla a hmuh boeih te tah na thadueng neh saii. Na pha ham koi saelkhui ah tah bibi neh poeknah khaw, mingnah neh cueihnah khaw a om moenih. (Sheol )
All that your hand finds to do, with your power do, for there is no work, and plan, and knowledge, and wisdom in Sheol to where you are going. (Sheol )

Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm, For strong as death is love, Sharp as Sheol is jealousy, Its burnings [are] burnings of fire, a flame of YAH! (Sheol )

Therefore Sheol has enlarged herself, And has opened her mouth without limit. And its honor has gone down, and its multitude, And its noise, and its exulting one—into her. (Sheol )

“Ask for a sign from your God YHWH, Make the request deep, or make [it] high upwards.” (Sheol )

Sheol beneath has been troubled at you, To meet your coming in, It is waking up Rephaim for you, All chief ones of earth, It has raised up from their thrones All kings of nations. (Sheol )
Na hoemdamnah na thangpa ol te, Saelkhui la a suntlak sak coeng. Namah hmui ah arhit phaih uh tih na dakda talam la poeh coeng,” na ti uh bitni. (Sheol )
Your excellence has been brought down to Sheol, The noise of your stringed instruments, The worm has been spread out under you, Indeed, the worm is covering you. (Sheol )
Tedae tangrhom laedil kah saelkhui la na suntla coeng. (Sheol )
Only—you are brought down to Sheol, To the sides of the pit. (Sheol )
“Dueknah neh paipi ka saii uh tih saelkhui taengah khohmu khaw ka khueh uh coeng. Mueirhih loh lawngkaih rhuihet la a vikvuek tih pongpa khaw pongpa mai saeh, mamih taengla ha pawk mahpawh. Laithae he mamih kah hlipyingnah la n'khueh uh tih a honghi khuiah n'thuh uh coeng,” na ti uh. (Sheol )
Because you have said: “We have made a covenant with death, And we have made a provision with Sheol, An overflowing scourge, when it passes over, Does not meet us, Though we have made a lie our refuge, And have been hidden in falsehood.” (Sheol )
Dueknah taengkah na paipi loh n'dawth vetih saelkhui taengkah na mangthui khaw thoo mahpawh. Mueirhih rhuihet loh vikvuek uh tih m'pah vaengah te kah a cawtkoi la na om ni. (Sheol )
And your covenant with death has been annulled, And your provision with Sheol does not stand, An overflowing scourge, when it passes over, Then you have been to it for a treading-place. (Sheol )
Kai tah, “Saelkhui vongka ah, ka khohnin he dingsueknah neh ka pongpa puei mai vetih, ka kum noi ka bawt mai mako,” ka ti. (Sheol )
“I said in the cutting off of my days, I go to the gates of Sheol, I have numbered the remnant of my years. (Sheol )

For Sheol does not confess You, Death does not praise You, Those going down to the pit do not hope for Your truth. (Sheol )
Manghai te situi neh na yiin. Na bova te na koei tih khohla la na laipai na tueih phoeiah saelkhui la na kunyun. (Sheol )
And go joyfully to the king in ointment, And multiply your perfumes, And send your ambassadors far off, And humble yourself to Sheol. (Sheol )

The gods of the mighty speak to him out of the midst of Sheol, With his helpers—they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword. (Sheol )

And they do not lie with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to Sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty [is] in the land of the living. (Sheol )

Will I ransom them from the hand of Sheol? Will I redeem them from death? Where [is] your plague, O death? Where your destruction, O Sheol? Comfort is hid from My eyes. (Sheol )
Saelkhui duela ael uh cakhaw amih te ka kut loh te lamkah a loh ni. Vaan la luei uh cakhaw te lamloh amih te ka suntlak sak ni. (Sheol )
If they dig through into Sheol, From there My hand takes them, And if they go up [to] the heavens, From there I cause them to come down. (Sheol )

And he says: “I called, because of my distress, to YHWH, And He answers me, From the belly of Sheol I have cried, You have heard my voice. (Sheol )

And also, because the wine [is] treacherous, A man is haughty, and does not remain at home, Who has enlarged his soul as Sheol, And is as death that is not satisfied, And gathers to itself all the nations, And assembles to itself all the peoples, (Sheol )

but I say to you that everyone who is angry at his brother without cause will be in danger of the judgment, and whoever may say to his brother, Stupid, will be in danger of the Sanhedrin, and whoever may say, Moron, will be in danger of the Gehenna of fire. (Geenna )

And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast from you, for it is good to you that one of your members may perish, and not your whole body be cast into Gehenna. (Geenna )

And do not be afraid of those killing the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. (Geenna )

And you, Capernaum, which were exalted to Heaven, will be brought down to Hades, because if the mighty works that were done in you had been done in Sodom, it had remained to this day; (Hadēs )

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Assembly, and [the] gates of Hades will not prevail against it; (Hadēs )
