28 Pilnam kah a coih rhoek, khosoih rhoek, Levi rhoek, thoh tawt rhoek, laa sa rhoek, tamtaeng rhoek, khohmuen pilnam lamloh aka hoep boeih, a yuu rhoek, a capa rhoek, a canu rhoek long khaw aka yakming boeih long tah Pathen olkhueng te a ming uh.
And, the rest of the people—the priests, the Levites, the doorkeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and all who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons and their daughters, —every one having knowledge and understanding,
29 Amih a khuet rhoek te a boeinaphung ah moem uh thae tih, Pathen kah sal Moses kut ah a paek Pathen kah olkhueng dongah pongpa ham khaw, ka Boeipa Yahweh kah olpaek boeih, a laitloeknah neh a oltlueh te ngaithuen ham neh vai ham khaw, olcaeng neh, olhlo neh pawk uh.
were holding fast unto their distinguished brethren, and were entering into a curse and into an oath, to walk in the law of God, which was given through Moses the servant of God, —and to observe and do, all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord, and his regulations, and his statutes;
30 Kaimih nu rhoek te khohmuen pilnam taengah ka paek pawt ham khaw. Amih nu te khaw kaimih ca rhoek ham loh pah pawt ham khaw.
and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land, —and, their daughters, would we not take for our sons;
31 Khohmuen pilnam kah hnoyoih hang khuen khaw, Sabbath hnin kah a yoih ham cangtham boeih khaw, Sabbath neh a cim khohnin ah tah amih taengkah te lo uh pawt ham. Kum rhih nen tah kut tom kah a casai te yoe sak uh eh.
and, if the peoples of the land should be bringing in wares, or any corn on the sabbath day, to sell, we would not buy of them on the sabbath, or on a holy day, —and that we would remit the seventh year, and the loan of every hand.
32 Kaimih Pathen im kah thothuengnah ham kaimih kah te kum khat ah shekel hlop thum paek ham olpaek te,
And we laid on ourselves charges, appointing for ourselves the third of a shekel, yearly, —for the service of the house of our God:
33 Rhungkung buh neh sainoek khocang ham khaw, hlasae Sabbath kah sainoek hmueihhlutnah ham khaw, khoning ham neh hmuencim ham khaw, Israel ham tholh aka dawth boirhaem ham khaw, kaimih Pathen im kah bitat cungkuem ham khaw kaimih soah ka pai puei eh.
for the bread to set in array, and the continual meal-offering, and for the continual ascending-sacrifice, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the appointed feasts, and for things hallowed, and for victims bearing sin, to put a propitiatory-covering over Israel, —and for all the work of the house of our God.
34 Olkhueng dongkah a daek bangla kaimih kah Pathen BOEIPA hmueihtuk dongah a toih ham te, a kum, kum kah a tue a hol vaengah, a pa imkhui loh kaimih Pathen im la, Levi khosoih neh pilnam kah nawnnah thing thak ham khaw,
Also, lots, did we cast, concerning the offering of wood among the priests, the Levites, and the people, to bring it unto the house of our God, by our ancestral houses, at times arranged, year by year, —to burn upon the altar of Yahweh our God, as it is written in the law.
35 Maimih kah khohmuen thaihcuek, thaih boeih khuikah thaihcuek, thing boeih te a kum, kum ah BOEIPA im la khuen ham khaw,
And that we would bring in the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruit of all fruit of all trees, year by year, —unto the house of Yahweh;
36 Olkhueng dongkah a daek bangla kaimih kah capa neh rhamsa caming, ka saelhung neh ka boiva cacuek khaw kaimih kah Pathen im ah kaimih Pathen im kah aka thotat khosoih rhoek taengla khuen ham,
also that, the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, —and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, we would bring in unto the house of our God, unto the priests who should be in attendance in the house of our God;
37 kaimih kah buhhuem neh ka khosaa tanglue khaw, thing cungkuem kah a thaih khaw, misur thai neh situi khaw, Pathen im kah imkhan ah khosoih taengla, amih Levi rhoek tah kho takuem ah kaimih kah thohtatnah lamloh a duen dongah kaimih khohmuen kah parha pakhat te Levi taengla thak ham hmulung ka naan uh.
and, the first part of our meal and our heave-offerings and the fruit of all trees, new wine and oil, would we bring in unto the priests, into the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithe of our ground unto the Levites, —the Levites themselves, taking the tithes in all our cities of agriculture.
38 Levi rhoek loh a duen vaegah Aaron koca khosoih rhoek te Levi taengah om kuekluek saeh. Parha pakhat dongkah parha pakhat te Levi rhoek loh kaimih Pathen im ah thakvoh im kah imkhan khuila thak uh saeh.
And the priest the son of Aaron should be with the Levites, when the Levites should take the tithes, —and the Levites, should bring up the tithe of the tithe, unto the house of our God, into the chambers pertaining unto the treasure-house.
39 Israel ca rhoek neh Levi ca rhoek loh cangpai khocang khaw, misur thai neh situi khaw imkhan khuila thak uh saeh. Teah te rhokso kah hnopai neh aka thotat khosoih rhoek khaw, thoh tawt rhoek khaw, laa sa rhoek khaw a om dongah kaimih kah Pathen im te ka hnoo uh mahpawh.
For, into the chambers, should the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi bring in the heave-offering of the corn, the new wine and the oil, since, there, are the utensils of the sanctuary, and the priests who are in attendance, and the doorkeepers, and the singers, —so would we not neglect the house of our God.
