< Matthai 24 >

1 Jesuh tah bawkim lamloh khoe uh tih Cet. Te vaengah bawkim kah hlinsainah te tueng ham a hnukbang rhoek loh a paan uh.
So as Jesus was going out, departing from the temple, His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple.
2 Tedae amih te a doo tih, “Boeih na hmuh uh moenih a he? Nangmih taengah rhep kan thui, phil ham pawt koi lungto sokah lungto pataeng hmaai loeng loeng mahpawh he,” a ti nah.
But Jesus said to them: “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly I say to you, absolutely not a single stone here will be left upon another, that will not be thrown down.”
3 Olives tlang ah Jesuh amah bueng a ngol vaengah hnukbang rhoek loh a paan uh tih, “Na lonah neh kumhal kah a bawtnah miknoek tah metlam lae? He rhoek he me vaengah lae a om eh? Kaimih taengah thui lah?” a ti na uh. (aiōn g165)
Now as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately saying: “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming and of the completion of the age?” (aiōn g165)
4 Jesuh loh amih te a doo tih, “Khat khat loh nangmih te n'rhaithi pawt ham dawn uh.
So in answer Jesus said to them: “Watch out, so that no one deceives you.
Because many will come in my name saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will deceive many.
6 Tedae caem neh caem kah puenpa na yaak uh tom coeng. Na hmuh uh vaengah let uh boeh. Te khaw a om ham a kuek ngawn dae a bawtnah tah om hlan.
You will be concerned when you hear of wars and rumors of wars; see to it that you not get worked up; for all of it has to happen, but the end is not yet.
7 Namtom loh namtom, ram loh ram a tlai thil ni.
For nation will be raised up against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in various places;
8 Tedae he rhoek boeih he bungtloh a tongnah ni.
but all these things are only a beginning of birth pains.
“Then they will hand you over to oppression and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
10 Te vaengah a cungkuem te a khah uh vetih pakhat te a voeih uh phoeiah pakhat te a thiinah uh ni.
And then many will be offended, and they will betray one another and will hate one another.
11 Te phoeiah laithae tonghma muep thoo vetih hlang muep a rhaithi uh ni.
And many false prophets will be raised up and they will deceive many.
12 Olaeknah te ping vetih lungnah te muep daeh ni.
And because of the increase of the lawlessness the love of the majority will grow cold.
13 Tedae a bawt duela aka ueh te tah daem ni.
So the one who perseveres to the end, he will be saved.
And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in the whole inhabited earth as a witness to all the ethnic nations, and then the end will come.
15 Te dongah tonghma Daniel loh hmuen cim ah pai tih mitmoengnah neh tueilaehnah a thui te na hmuh uh, aka tae loh yakming saeh.
“So then, when you (ye) see the ‘abomination of desolation’, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (let the reader understand),
16 Te vaengah Judah kah rhoek loh tlang la rhaelrham uh saeh.
“then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17 Imphu sokah loh a im kah te puen hamla suntla boel saeh.
Anyone on the housetop should not go down to take things out of his house,
18 Lohma kah loh a himbai khuen ham a hnukla bal boel saeh.
and anyone in the field should not go back to get his cloak.
But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing a baby in those days!
20 Tedae Nangmih kah rhaelrhamnah tah sikca neh Sabbath ah a om pawt ham thangthui uh.
And pray that your flight may not happen in winter or on a Sabbath.
Because then there will be a great tribulation, such as has never been since the beginning of the world until now, and never again will be.
22 Te khohnin te boem pawt koinih pumsa boeih tah daem mai mahpawh. Tedae a coelh rhoek ham te khohnin a boem pah ni.
And unless those days were cut short no flesh would be saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
23 Te vaengah pakhat loh nangmih taengah, 'Hela khrih he, kela ke,’ a ti atah tangnah boeh.
Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, the Messiah is here!’ or ‘there!’ do not believe him.
24 Laithae khrih neh laithae tonghma rhoek tah thoo uh ni. Coengthai koinih a coelh rhoek pataeng rhaithi ham miknoek a len neh khobae rhambae te a khueh uh ni.
Because false christs and false prophets will be raised up, and they will give great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 Nangmih taengah kan thui coeng he ne.
See, I have told you beforehand.
'Imkhui ah la ke,’ a ti uh akhaw tangnah uh boeh.
So if they should say to you, ‘Look, He is in the wilderness!’ do not go out; ‘Look, in the secret rooms!’ do not believe it.
27 Khophaa loh khothoeng lamkah cet tih khotlak due a phaa bangla hlang capa kah a lonah khaw om van ni.
Because just as the lightning comes from east and shines to west, so also will be the coming of the Son of the Man;
28 Rhok loh a om nah te langta loh hnap a boo ni.
for wherever the carcass may be there will be a gathering of vultures.
29 Tekah phacipphabaem khohnin phoeiah khomik loh tlek hmuep vetih hla loh a aa pae mahpawh. Aisi tah vaan lamkah loh cuhu vetih vaan kah thaomnah loh hinghoek uh ni.
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
30 Te vaengah Hlang Capa kah miknoek tah vaan ah tueng ni. Diklai koca boeih loh a rhaengae uh vetih, hlang capa loh vaan kah khomai dongah thaomnah, a len la thangpomnah neh ha pawk te a hmuh uh ni.
And then the sign of the Son of the Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn—they will see the Son of the Man coming on the clouds of the heaven with power and great glory.
31 Amah kah puencawn rhoek te olueng ol aka cai neh a tueih vetih a coelh hlang rhoek te dilaikil pali lamkah, vaan ak a soi lamloh a soi duela tingtun uh ni.
And He will send out His angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they will collect His elect from the four winds, from one extreme of the heavens to the other.
32 Thaibu lamkah nuettahnah te ming uh. A hlaeng loh suepluep la om tih a hnah a boe vaengah khohal tom coeng tila na ming uh.
“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and it puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near.
33 Nangmih khaw he rhoek he boeih na hmuh uh vaengah tah thohka ah ha pawk tom coeng tila ming uh.
So you also, whenever you see all these things, know that it is near, at the doors!
34 Nangmih taengah rhep kan thui, he rhoek boeih loh a thoeng hlan atah he cadil he khum loeng loeng mahpawh.
Assuredly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.
35 Vaan neh diklai tah khumpael ni tedae ka ol he ta khumpael rhoerhoe mahpawh.
The heaven and the earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
36 Tekah a tue neh khohnin te a Pa bueng pawt atah Capa long khaw, vaan kah puencawn rhoek long khaw ming pawh.
“But no one knows concerning that day and hour, not even the angels of the heavens, except my Father alone.
37 Noah tue kah bangla Hlang Capa kah ha lonah khaw om tangloeng van ni.
But just as were the days of Noah, so also will be the coming of the Son of the Man.
38 Tevaeng tue kah rhoek tah tuilii hlan lamkah loh Noah lawng khuila a kun khohnin duela a caak uh, a ok uh, yuuloh vasak, rhaihlan neh om uh.
For just as they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, in the days before the flood until the day that Noah entered the ark,
39 Tuilii lo tih boeih a khuen duela ming uh pawh. Hlang Capa kah a lonah khaw om van tangloeng ni.
and were not aware until the flood came and took all away, so also will be the coming of the Son of the Man.
Pakhat te a khuen vetih pakhat a hlah ni.
Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.
41 Phaklung neh aka kuelh rhoi te pakhat a khuen vetih pakhat a paih ni.
Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and the other will be left.
So be watchful, because you (pl) do not know in what hour your Lord is coming.
43 Imkung loh hlanghuen ha pawk tue te ming koinih hak vetih a im te muk sak mahpawh tite na ming uh.
But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not allowed his house to be broken into.
Therefore you also be ready, because the Son of the Man is coming at an hour that you do not suppose.
Anih te boeipa loh a imkhuikho ah a tuetang vaengah amih ham buh aka poep la a khueh.
“Who then is the faithful and prudent servant whom his lord placed over his corps of servants to give them food on schedule?
46 A boei loh ha pawk vaengah a saii te a hmuh tangloeng atah sal te khaw a yoethen.
Blessed be that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find doing so.
47 Nangmih taengah rhep ka thui, amah kah khuehtawn boeih soah anih te a om sak ni.
Assuredly I say to you that he will place him over all his possessions.
48 Tedae sal thae long tah a thinko khuiah, 'Ka boeipa tah di coeng,’ a ti.
But if that bad servant should say in his heart, ‘My lord is delaying his return,’
49 Te dongah a sal puei rhoek te koe a boh. Aka rhui rhoek taengah a caak tih a ok van.
and should begin to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 A lamso pawh khohnin neh a ming pawt tue vaengah ni boeipa loh sal te a paan eh.
the lord of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour when he is not aware,
51 Te vaengah anih te a tloek vetih a paihmuen te hlangthai palat rhoek taengla a khueh pah ni. Te rhoek ah rhah neh no rhuengnah ni a om eh.
and will cut him in two and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
