< Marku 16 >

1 Sabbath poeng phoeiah Magadala Mary neh James manu Mary neh Salome loh bo-ul a lai tih boeipa te hluk ham la cet rhoi.
When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, in order to come and anoint His body.
2 Sabbath phoeikah lamhmacuek vaengah yueya aih. pueng dae phuel la a pawk vaengah tah khomik thoeng coeng.
So, very soon after sunrise on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb;
3 Te vaengah amamih te, “Hlan rhai kah lungto te ulong nim mamih ham a paluet ve?” a ti uh.
and they were saying to one another, 'Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?"
4 Tedae a sawt uh vaengah, lungto vik a paluet uh te a hmuh uh. Te te bahoeng a len la om dae ta.
But then, looking up, they saw that the stone was already rolled back: for it was of immense size.
5 Phuel khuila a kun uh vaengah hnikul a bok aka bai cadong pakhat tah bantang ben ah ana ngol te a hmuh uh tih a ngaihmang uh.
Upon entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at their right hand, clothed in a long white robe. They were astonished and terrified.
6 Tedae anih loh amih taengah, “Na ngaihmang uh boeh. A tai uh tangtae Nazareth Jesuh te na toem uh. Heah a om moenih thoo coeng. Anih a khueh nah hmuen so uh lah he.
But he said to them, "Do not be terrified. It is Jesus you are looking for--the Nazarene who has been crucified. He has come back to life: He is not here: this is the place where they laid Him.
7 Tedae, cet uh lamtah a hnukbang rhoek neh Peter taengah, 'Nangmih taengah a thui bangla Galilee la nangmih hmaiah lamhma coeng, teah te Jesuh na hmuh uh bitni, 'tila thui pa uh,” a ti nah.
But go and tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee: and that there you will see Him, as He told you."
8 Te vaengah amih te thuennah neh, ngaihmang bangla a om uh dongah phuel lamkah cet tih rhaelrham uh. A rhih uh dongah u taengah khaw thui uh pawh.
So they came out, and fled from the tomb, for they were greatly agitated and surprised; and they said not a word to any one, for they were afraid.
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) A thoh phoeikah Sabbath yarh lamhma cuek mincang ah tah Magadala Mary taengah lamhma la a phoe pah. Rhaithae parhih te anih lamkah ni a. haek pah.
(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) [But He rose to life early on the first day of the week, and appeared first to Mary of Magdala from whom He had expelled seven demons.
10 Anih te cet tih Jesuh taengah aka om tih a nguek neh aka rhap rhoek taengah puen.
She went and brought the tidings to those who had been with Him, as they were mourning and weeping.
11 Jesuh hing tih a hmuh te a yaak uh dae a hnalval takuh.
But they, when they were told that He was alive and that she had seen Him, could not believe it.
12 Te phoeiah amih khuikah hlang panit te a kho la cet rhoi tih a pongpa rhoi vaengah mueimae a hloeh la a phoe pah.
Afterwards He showed Himself in another form to two of them as they were walking, on their way into the country.
13 Amih rhoi te cet tih a tloe rhoek taengah puen rhoi dae te rhoi te tangnah uh pawh.
These, again, went and told the news to the rest; but not even them did they believe.

Later still He showed Himself to the Eleven themselves whilst they were at table, and He upbraided them with their unbelief and obstinacy in not having believed those who had seen Him alive.
15 Te phoeiah amih te, “Diklai pum ah cet uh lamtah suentae boeih taengah olthangthen te hoe uh.
Then He said to them, "Go the whole world over, and proclaim the Good News to all mankind.
16 Aka tangnah tih aka tuinuem tah daem vetih aka hnalval rhoek tah boe ni.
He who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
17 Te dongah miknoek tah aka tangnah rhoek loh a thuep ni. Ka ming neh rhaithae a haek uh ni. Ol thai te a thui uh ni.
And signs shall attend those who believe, even such as these. By making use of my name they shall expel demons. They shall speak new languages.

They shall take up venomous snakes, and if they drink any deadly poison it shall do them no harm whatever. They shall lay their hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover."
19 Boeipa Jesuh loh amih a uen phoeiah, vaan la a loh tih Pathen kah bantang ah ngol.
So the Lord Jesus after having thus spoken to them was taken up into Heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 Tekah rhoek te khaw khotomrhali la cet uh tih a hoe uh. Boeipa loh a bongyong dongah olka te miknoek neh a rhoih uh tih a cak sakuh.
But they went out and made proclamation everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming their Message by the signs which accompanied it.]
