< Marku 13 >

1 Bawkim lamkah a caeh vaengah a hnukbang rhoek khuikah pakhat loh a taengah, “Saya, mebang lungto neh mebang imsak nim he,” a ti nah.
And as he was going out from the temple, one of his disciples said to him: Teacher, see what stones and what buildings!
Lungto sokah lungto he hmaai loengloeng het mahpawt a? Te tah phil loengloeng het mahpawt a?,” a ti nah.
And Jesus answering, said to him: Do you see these great buildings? There shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 Te phoeiah Bawkim rhaldan kah Olive tlang ah amah te ngol tih, Peter, James, Johan neh Andrew loh,
And as he sat on the mount of Olives, opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately:
4 “Hekah he me vaengah lae a om khaw kaimih taengah thui lah. He he boeih a soep tom vaengkah miknoek tah mebang lae? tila Jesuh amah bueng te a dawt uh.
Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?
5 Te dongah Jesuh loh amih te, “Ngaithuen uh khat khat loh nangmih n'rhaithi ve.
Jesus answering them, began to say: Take heed, lest any one deceive you.
For many will come in my name, saying, I am he, and will deceive many.
7 Te dongah caem neh caem kah olthang na yaak uh vaengah let uh boeh. A om ham khaw a kuek pai dae a bawtnah tah pha hlan.
But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not troubled; for these things must be: but not yet is the end.
8 Namtu loh namtu, ram loh ram a thoh thil ni. Hmuen takuem ah lingluei hinghuen vetih khokha khaw pai ni. Te tah bungtloh a tongnah coeng ni.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines, and tumults.
9 Te dongah nangmih tah namamih te hmat uh thae.
These are the beginning of sorrows. But take heed to yourselves; for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be scourged in the synagogues; and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
10 Namtom boeih taengah khaw lamhma la olthangthen te hoe ham a kuek.
And the gospel must first be preached among all the nations.
But when they lead you to deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand, nor premeditate what you shall speak; but whatever shall be given you in that hour, that do you speak; for it is not you that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
12 Te phoeiah manuca loh manuca, a napa loh ca te duek sak ham a voeih ni. Camoe rhoek long khaw a manu napa te a tingtoeh vetih a duek sak ni.
Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father the child; and children will rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death;
13 Kai ming kongah hlang boeih loh m'hmuhuet uh ni. Tedae a bawt due aka ueh te tah daem ni.
and you will be hated by all on my account. But he that endures to the end shall be saved.
14 Tedae na hmuh uh vaengah mitmoengnah tueilaehnah a pai te a kuek moenih. Aka tae loh yakming saeh. Te vaengah Judea kah rhoek te tlang la rhaelrham uh saeh.
But when you see that detestable thing that makes desolate, which is spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that reads understand, ) then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;
15 Imphu kah aka om long khaw rhum boel saeh. A im kah khat khat loh ham khaw kun boel saeh.
let not him that is on the house-top go down into his house, nor enter in to take any thing from his house;
16 Lohma kah long khaw a himbai loh ham a hnuk la bal boel saeh.
and let not him that is in the field turn back to take his mantle.
17 Anunae tekah khohnin ah bungvawn la aka om rhoek neh cacun rhoek aih.
But alas for those who are with child, and for those who give suck in those days.
18 Tedae sikca ah a om pawt ham thangthui uh.
And pray that your flight may not be in the winter.
For these will be the days of affliction, such as has not been from the beginning of the creation which God created, till this time, and will never be.
20 Te dongah Boeipa loh khohnin te a biim pawt atah pumsa he boeih daem thai mahpawh. Tedae a tuek tih a coelh tangtae ham te khohnin te a biim pah ni.
And unless the Lord had made those days few, no flesh could be saved: but for the sake of the elect whom he has chosen, he has made those days few.
21 Te vaengah pakhat loh nangmih taengah, 'Hela Khrih he, kela ke,’ a ti atah tangnah uh boeh.
And then, if any one say to you: Lo! here is the Christ, or, Lo! there; believe him not.
22 Laithae khrih rhoek neh laithae tonghma rhoek phoe vetih a coengthai atah coelh tangtae rhoek te phael sak ham miknoek neh khobae rhambae a tueng sak uh ni.
For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
23 Te dongah nangmih taengah ka thui boeih te nangmih loh ana noek uh.
But do you take heed: behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
24 Tedae phacip phabaem phoeikah tekah khohnin ah khomik loh hmuep vetih hla loh a aa pae mahpawh.
But in those days, after that affliction, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light,
25 Aisi rhoek khaw vaan lamloh tla ni. Vaan kah thaomnah khaw hinghuen uh ni.
and the stars of heaven will fall, and the hosts that are in the heavens will be shaken.
26 Te phoeiah Hlang Capa te thaomnah tanglue, thangpomnah neh, khomai dongah ha pawk te a hmuh uh ni.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
27 Te vaengah, puencawn rhoek te a tueih vetih diklai a soi lamloh vaan a soi duela khohli pali dongkah a coelh rhoek te a coi ni.
And then will he send his angels, and gather his elect from the four winds, from the most distant part of earth to the most distant part of heaven.
28 Te dongah thaibu lamkah nuettahnah te canguh. A hlaeng te suepluep la om tih a hnah te a boe coeng atah khohal yoei coeng tila na ming uh.
But learn a parable from the fig-tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
So, also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.
30 Nangmih taengah rhep ka thui, he rhoek loh boeih a thoeng hlan atah tahae kah cadil loh khum loengloeng mahpawh.
Verily I say to you, this generation shall not pass away, till all these things take place.
31 Vaan neh diklai tah khum ni, tedae kai kah ol tah khum loengloeng mahpawh.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
32 Tedae tekah a tue khohnin kawng te a ming uh moenih, vaan kah puencawn rhoek long khaw ming pawh, pa long pawt atah capa long khaw a ming moenih.
But of that day or that hour no one knows: neither the angels who are in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.
33 Hlang pakhat loh a im te yiin la a hlah uh vaengah a sal rhoek te saithainah, neh a bibi rhip a paek phoeiah imtawt te hueltue la om ham a uen.
Take heed, watch and pray: for you know not when the time is.
34 Me vaengah lae a tue te a omeh tite na ming uh pawt dongah hak uh lamtah ana noek uh.
As a man, going into another country, leaves his house, and gives authority to his servants, and to each one his own work, and commands the door-keeper to watch;
35 Te dongah im kung te kholaeh ah khaw, ihdulh ah khaw, aikhong ah khaw, mincang ah khaw, me vaengah ha pawk ham khaw na ming uh pawt dongah ana hak uh.
watch you therefore; for you know not when the master of the house comes, whether at evening, or at midnight, or at the crowing of the cock, or in the morning;
lest he come suddenly, and find you sleeping.
37 Te dongah nangmih ham ka thui te hlang boeih ham khaw ka thui, hak uh lah,” pahoi a ti nah.
What I say to you, I say to all, Watch.
