Thothuengnah 4
1 Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Moses a voek tih,
And Yahweh spake, unto Moses, saying:
2 “Israel ca rhoek te voek lamtah thui pah. Hinglu pakhat loh tohtamaeh ah BOEIPA kah olpaek boeih soah tholh mai ni. A saii tueng pawt khui lamkah pakhat te khaw a saii mai ni.
Speak thou unto the sons of Israel, saying—When any person, shall sin by mistake, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall do any one of them, —
3 A koelh tangtae khosoih loh pilnam kah dumlai khuila lai a hmuh atah tekah tholhnah a laihmuh dongah boirhaem la saelhung khuikah vaitotal ca cuemthuek te BOEIPA taengah nawn saeh.
If, the anointed priest, shall sin, so as to bring guilt upon the people, then shall he bring near for his sin which he hath committed a choice young bullock without defect, unto Yahweh as a sin-bearer.
4 Te vaengah vaitotal te tingtunnah dap thohka kah BOEIPA mikhmuh la khuen saeh. Te phoeiah a kut te vaito kah a lu soah tloeng saeh lamtah BOEIPA mikhmuh ah vaito te ngawn saeh.
And he shall bring in the bullock unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, before Yahweh, —and shall lean his hand upon the head of the bullock, and shall slay the bullock before Yahweh.
5 A koelh tangtae khosoih loh vaito thii te lo saeh lamtah tingtunnah dap khuila khuen saeh.
And the anointed priest shall take of the blood of the bullock, —and bring it into the tent of meeting;
6 Te phoeiah khosoih loh a kutdawn te thii khuila nuem saeh lamtah thii te hmuencim hniyan hmai kah BOEIPA mikhmuh ah voei rhih haeh saeh.
and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, —and sprinkle of the blood seven times, before Yahweh, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.
7 Te phoeiah thii te tingtunnah dap khuikah BOEIPA mikhmuh ah botui bo-ul la hmueihtuk ki dongah khosoih loh pae saeh. Tedae vaito thii aka coih boeih te tah tingtunnah dap thohka kah hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk kah khoengim taengah hawk saeh.
Then shall the priest put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of fragrant incense before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting, —and, all the [remainder of the] blood of the bullock, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting,
8 Boirhaem vaito tha boeih neh a kotak soah khoep aka dah maehtha te khaw, a kotak dongkah a tha boeih te khaw hluep saeh.
And all the fat of the sin-bearing bullock, shall he heave up therefrom, —the fat that covereth over the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;
9 A kuel rhoi neh a uen kaep dongkah a tha te khaw, a thin neh a kuel dongkah a thinhnun te khaw hluep saeh.
and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them which is upon the loins, —and as for the caul upon the liver, upon the kidneys, shall he remove it:
10 Rhoepnah hmueih vaito kah a tha vanbangla khosoih loh ludoeng saeh lamtah hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk dongah phum saeh.
just as it is heaved up from the ox of the peace-offering, —and the priest shall make of them a perfume on the altar of ascending-sacrifice,
11 Tedae vaito pho neh a saa boeih khaw, a lu neh a kho rhoek khaw, a kotak neh a aek khaw,
But, as for the skin of the bullock and all its flesh with its head and with its legs, —and its inwards, and its dung,
12 vaito pum te rhaehhmuen vongvoel kah maehhloi a lunnah hmuen tlaai la khuen saeh lamtah hoeh saeh. Maehhloi lunnah kah thing hmai dongah hoeh saeh.
he shall take forth the entire bullock—unto the outside of the camp, unto a clean place unto the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, and shall burn it up on wood in the fire, —upon the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, shall it be burned up.
13 Te dongah Israel rhaengpuei pum loh palang uh tih hlangping mikhmuh lamkah olka a rhael vaengah BOEIPA olpaek boeih khuikah mai khaw saii pawt koi pakhat te a saii uh atah boe uh coeng.
And, if the whole assembly of Israel, shall make a mistake, and a matter be hidden from the eyes of the convocation, —and so they do something, whereby they depart from any of the commandments of Yahweh as to things which should not be done, and become guilty;
14 Tholh uh tih a tholhnah te amah loh a ming coeng atah saelhung khuikah vaitotal ca te hlangping loh boirhaem la khuen uh saeh lamtah tingtunnah dap hmai ah tloeng uh saeh.
and the sin shall become known, which they have committed therein, then shall the convocation bring near a choice young bullock as a sin-bearer, yea they shall bring it in. before the tent of meeting;
15 Te vaengah rhaengpuei khuikah patong rhoek loh BOEIPA mikhmuh kah vaito lu soah a kut tloeng uh saeh. Te phoeiah vaito te BOEIPA mikhmuh ah ngawn uh saeh.
and the elders of the assembly shall lean their hands upon the head of the bullock before Yahweh, —and shall slay the bullock, before Yahweh;
16 Te phoeiah a koelh tangtae khosoih loh vaito thii te tingtunnah dap khuila khuen saeh.
and the anointed priest shall bring in of the blood of the bullock, —into the tent of meeting;
17 Te phoeiah khosoih loh a kutdawn te thii khuila nuem saeh lamtah hniyan hmai kah BOEIPA mikhmuh ah voei rhih haeh saeh.
and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, —and shall sprinkle of the blood seven times before Yahweh, upon the face of the veil;
18 Thii te khaw tingtunnah dap ah BOEIPA mikhmuh kah hmueihtuk ki dongah pae saeh. Tedae thii aka coih te tingtunnah dap thohka kah hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk kah khoengim taengah hawk saeh.
and, some of the blood, shall he put upon the horns of the altar which is before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting; and, all the [remainder of the] blood, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting;
19 Te vaengah maehtha boeih te ludoeng saeh lamtah hmueihtuk dongah phum saeh.
and, as for all the fat thereof, he shall heave up therefrom, —and make a perfume at the altar.
20 A saii vaengah boirhaem vaito a saii vanbangla rhoepnah vaito te saii saeh. Te daengah ni khosoih loh amih ham a dawth pah vetih amih te khodawk a ngai eh.
And he shall do to the bullock, as he did to the [first] sin-bearing bullock, so shall he do with this, —and the priest shall put a propitiatory-covering over them, and it shall be forgiven them.
21 Te phoeiah vaito te rhaehhmuen vongvoel la khuen saeh lamtah lamhma kah hlangping kah boirhaem vaito a hoeh bangla hoeh saeh.
And he shall take forth the bullock unto the outside of the camp, and burn it up, just as he burned up the first bullock, —the sin-bearer of the convocation, it is.
22 Khoboei khaw tholh tih a BOEIPA Pathen kah olpaek khat khat khui lamkah saii pawt koi te tohtamaeh ah a saii vaengah boe coeng.
When a prince, shall sin, —and shall do something, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh his God as to things which should not be done, by mistake and shall become aware of his guilt;
23 Tedae tholhnah dongah a tholh te amah loh a ming van neh nawnnah ham maae a tal ca a cuemthuek te khuen saeh.
or his sin wherein he hath sinned be made known unto him, then shall he bring in. as his oblation a he-goat a male without defect;
24 Maae tal lu soah a kut tloeng saeh. BOEIPA mikhmuh ah hmueihhlutnah a ngawn nah hmuen ah boirhaem te ngawn saeh.
and shall lean his hand upon the head of the goat, and shall slay it in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice before Yahweh, —a sin-bearer, it is.
25 Te phoeiah boirhaem thii te khosoih loh a kutdawn neh lo saeh lamtah hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk ki dongah pae saeh. Te phoeikah thii te hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk kah khoengim taengah hawk saeh.
And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice; and, the [remainder of the] blood thereof, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice;
26 Tedae a tha boeih te rhoepnah hmueih tha bangla hmueihtuk ah phum saeh. Te daengah ni anih kah tholhnah kongah khosoih loh anih ham a dawth pah vetih khodawk a ngai eh.
and with all the fat thereof, shall he make a perfume at the altar, as with the fat of the peace-offering, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him because of his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.
27 BOEIPA olpaek dongkah saii pawt koi khat khat te tolrhum pilnam lamkah hinglu pakhat mai loh tohtamaeh ah a saii tholh tih boe coeng.
And, if, any person, shall sin, by mistake from among the people of the land, —by his doing anything departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall become aware of his guilt;
28 Tedae a tholhnah neh a tholh te amah loh a ming atah a tholhnah neh a tholh kongah a nawnnah ham te maae a la ca a cuemthuek te khuen saeh.
or his sin which he hath committed shall be made known unto, him, then shall he bring in, as his oblation, a kid of the goats a female, without defect, for his sin which he hath committed;
29 Te vaengah boirhaem lu soah a kut tloeng saeh lamtah hmueihhlutnah hmuen ah boirhaem te ngawn saeh.
and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, —and shall slay the sin-bearer in the place of the ascending-sacrifice.
30 Te phoeiah thii te khosoih loh a kutdawn neh lo saeh lamtah hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk ki dongah pae saeh. Tedae thii kah a coih boeih te hmueihtuk kah khoengim taengah hawk saeh.
Then shall the priest take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —and all the [remaining] blood thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;
31 A tha boeih te rhoepnah hmueih tha a hluep vanbangla hluep saeh lamtah BOEIPA taengkah hmuehmuei botui la hmueihtuk dongah khosoih loh phum saeh. Te daengah ni anih ham te khosoih loh a dawth pah vetih anih te khodawk a ngai eh.
and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat from off the peace-offering was removed, and the priest shall make a perfume at the altar, for a satisfying odour unto Yahweh, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, and it shall be forgiven him.
32 Tedae a nawnnah ham te tuca ni a khuen atah a la a cuemthuek te boirhaem la khuen saeh.
And, if a lamb, he bring in. as his oblation for a sin-bearer, a female without defect, shall he bring in;
33 Te vaengah boirhaem lu soah a kut tloeng saeh lamtah hmueihhlutnah a ngawn nah hmuen ah boirhaem la ngawn saeh.
and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, —and shall slay it as a sin-bearer, in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice.
34 Te phoeiah boirhaem thii te khosoih loh a kutdawn neh lo saeh lamtah hmueihhlutnah hmueihtuk ki dongah koelh saeh. Te phoeikah thii aka coih boeih te hmueihtuk kah khoengim taengah hawk saeh.
Then shall the priest take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —and all the [remaining] blood thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;
35 Tedae a tha boeih te rhoepnah hmueih dongkah tuca tha a hluep vanbangla hluep saeh lamtah BOEIPA kah hmaihlutnah hmueihtuk dongah khosoih loh phum saeh. Te daengah ni anih kah tholhnah kongah khosoih loh a dawth pah vetih a tholh te khodawk a ngai eh,” a ti nah.
and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat of the lamb is removed, from the peace-offering, and the priest shall make a perfume therewith at the altar, upon the altar-flames of Yahweh, —so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him on account of his sin which he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
