1 Jordan aka kat namtom boeih loh a soep la a om van vaeng daengah Joshua te BOEIPA loh a voek tih,
And it was just when they had finished all the nation to pass over the Jordan. And he said Yahweh to Joshua saying.
2 “Pilnam lamkah te namamih ham hlang hlai nit tuek laeh. Koca khat lamloh hlang pakhat, hlang pakhat saeh.
Take for yourselves from the people two [plus] ten men a man one a man one from a tribe.
3 Te phoeiah amih te uen lamtah thui pah. Jordan tuilung, rhaltawt hmuen kah khosoih khoa pai nah lungto hlai nit he namamih ham phuei uh. Te te namamih taengah kat puei lamtah khoyin kah na rhaeh nah rhaehim ah khueh uh,” a ti nah.
And command them saying take up for yourselves from here from [the] middle of the Jordan from [the] standing-place of [the] feet of the priests to make firm two [plus] ten stones and you will take over them with you and you will set down them at the lodging place which you will stay at it this night.
4 Te dongah Joshua loh hlang hlai nit tea khue. Te te koca pakhat lamkah hlang pakhat, hlang pakhat te Israel ca khui lamloha hmoel.
And he called Joshua to two [plus] the ten man whom he had appointed from [the] people of Israel a man one a man one from a tribe.
5 Te phoeiah amih te Joshua loh, “BOEIPA na Pathen kah thingkawng hmai ah Jordan tuilung la kat uh lamtah Israel ca rhoek kah koca aka om tarhing loha laengpang dongah lungto pakhat pakhat rhip kawt uh.
And he said to them Joshua pass over before [the] ark of Yahweh God your into [the] middle of the Jordan and take up for yourselves each a stone one on shoulder his to [the] number of [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel.
6 Te daengah ni miknoek he nangmih khui aha om eh. Thangvuen ah na ca rhoek loh nangmih te n'dawt tih, 'Hekah lungto he bahamlae,’ a ti ni.
So that it may be this a sign in midst your if they will ask! children your tomorrow saying what? [are] the stones these to you.
7 Te vaengah amih taengah, “Jordan lan ham vaengah BOEIPA paipi thingkawng hmai ah Jordan tui kak coeng. Jordan tuia kak coeng dongah hekah he Israel ca rhoek taengah poekkoepnah lungto la kumhal duela om saeh ti nah,” a ti nah.
And you will say to them that they were cut off [the] waters of the Jordan from before [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh when passed on it in the Jordan they were cut off [the] waters of the Jordan and they will become the stones these a reminder to [the] people of Israel until perpetuity.
8 Te dongah Joshua loh a uen vanbangla Israel ca rhoek loh a saii uh. BOEIPA loh Joshua taengkaha thui bangla Jordan tuilung lamkah lungto hlai nit te Israel ca rhoek kah koca tarhing laa koh uh tih rhaehim tea paan puei phoeiaha khueh uh.
And they did thus [the] people of Israel just as he had commanded Joshua and they took up two [plus] ten stones from [the] middle of the Jordan just as he had said Yahweh to Joshua to [the] number of [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel and they took over them with them to the lodging place and they set down them there.
9 Te dongah paipi thingkawng aka kawt khosoih kho kah rhaltawt hmuen, Jordan tuilung ah Joshua loh lungto hlai nita ling tih tihnin due om pueng.
And two [plus] ten stones he set up Joshua in [the] middle of the Jordan in [the] standing-place of [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the covenant and they have been there until the day this.
10 Pilnam taengah Joshua loh thui hamla BOEIPA loh a uen hno te Joshua taengah Moses loh boeiha uen vanbangla boeiha coeng due thingkawng aka kawt khosoih rhoek khaw Jordan tuilung ah pai uh. Te vaengah pilnam long khaw baang kat uh van.
And the priests [the] bearers of the ark [were] standing in [the] middle of the Jordan until was finished every thing which he had commanded Yahweh Joshua to speak to the people according to all that he had commanded Moses Joshua and they hurried the people and they passed over.
11 Aka kat ham koi pilnam loh boeiha soep van neh BOEIPA thingkawng neh khosoih rhoek khaw pilnam kah mikhmuh ah kat phai van.
And it was just when it had finished all the people to pass over and it passed over [the] ark of Yahweh and the priests before the people.
12 Reuben koca rhoek, Gad koca rhoek neh Manasseh koca hlangvang te tah Moses kah a thui bangla Israel ca rhoek kah a mikhmuh ah caem la cet uh.
And they passed over [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh arrayed for battle before [the] people of Israel just as he had spoken to them Moses.
13 Jerikho kolken ah caemtloek ham thawng sawmli tluk loh BOEIPA mikhmuh ah pumcum uh tih caempuei la khoong uh.
About forty thousand armed [men] of war they passed over before Yahweh for battle to [the] plains of Jericho.
14 Te khohnin ah BOEIPA loh Joshua te Israel pum kah mikhmuh aha pomsang tih a hing tue khuiah Mosesa rhih uh bangla anih khawa rhih uh.
On the day that he made great Yahweh Joshua in [the] eyes of all Israel and they feared him just as they had feared Moses all [the] days of life his.
15 Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Joshua tea voek tih,
And he said Yahweh to Joshua saying.
16 “Olphong thingkawng aka kawt khosoih rhoek te uen lamtah Jordan lamkah ha luei uh saeh,” a ti nah.
Command the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the testimony so they may come up from the Jordan.
17 Te dongah Joshua loh khosoih rhoek tea uen tih, “Jordan lamloh ha luei uh laeh,” a ti nah.
And he commanded Joshua the priests saying come up from the Jordan.
18 Te dongah BOEIPA kah paipi thingkawng aka kawt khosoih rhoek loh Jordan tuilung lamkah ha luei la ha luei uh. Tedae khosoih rhoek kah a khopha loh lanhak laa cawt van neh Jordan tui khaw amah hmuen la bal tih hlaem hlavai kah bangla tuikaeng tom ah khawk li.
And it was (just as came up *Q(K)*) the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] middle of the Jordan they were drawn out [the] soles of [the] feet of the priests to the dry ground and they returned [the] waters of the Jordan to place their and they went as yesterday three days ago over all banks its.
19 Te dongah pilnam loh Jordan lamkah ha luei uh tih a hla khat dongkah a hnin rha vaengah tah Jerikho khocuk rhi kah Gilgal ah rhaeh uh.
And the people they went up from the Jordan on the ten of the month first and they encamped at Gilgal on [the] edge of [the] east of Jericho.
20 Te vaengah Jordan lamkaha khuen uh lungto hlai nit te Joshua loh Gilgal aha ling.
And two [plus] ten the stones these which they had taken from the Jordan he set up Joshua at Gilgal.
21 Israel ca rhoek te khawa voek tih, “Thangvuen ah na ca rhoek loh a napa rhoek tea dawt uh tih, 'Hekah lungto he bahamlae?,” a ti uh vaengah,
And he said to [the] people of Israel saying that they will ask! children your tomorrow fathers their saying what? [are] the stones these.
22 na ca rhoek te khaw tukkil uh lamtah, “Jordan he Israel loh laiphuei longaha lan ti nah.
And you will make known to children your saying on the dry ground it passed over Israel the Jordan this.
23 Na Pathen BOEIPA loh carhaek tuipuei kaha saii bangla na poeng hil na mikhmuh kah Jordan tui te na Pathen BOEIPA loh a kak sak. Te te mamih loh m'poeng hil mamih mikhmuh aha rhae sak.
That he dried up Yahweh God your [the] waters of the Jordan from before you until had passed over you just as he did Yahweh God your to [the] sea of reed[s] which he dried up from before us until had passed over we.
24 BOEIPA kah tlungluen kut te diklai pilnam rhoek loh boeih ming uh kangna saeh. Te daengah ni na hing tue khui boeih ah BOEIPA na Pathen te na rhih eh?,” a ti nah.
So as to know all [the] peoples of the earth [the] hand of Yahweh that [is] mighty it so that you may fear Yahweh God your all the days.
