< Johan 17 >

1 Jesuh loh he rhoek he a thui phoeiah a mik te vaan la a dai hang tih, “Pa aw, a tue ha pawk coeng. Capa te na thangpom mako. Te daengah ni capa loh nang n'thangpom eh.
These things, spake Jesus, and, lifting up his eyes unto heaven, said: —Father! The hour is come! Glorify thy Son, that, the Son, may glorify, thee, —
Even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that, as touching whatsoever thou hast given him, he might give unto them, life age-abiding.
And, this, is the age-abiding life, That they get to know thee, the only real God, and him whom thou didst send, Jesus Christ.
I, glorified thee on the earth, The work, finishing, which thou hast given me that I should do.
5 Pa aw namah loh kai n'thangpom laeh, namah taengkah thangpomnah ka khueh he diklai om hlanah ni namah taengah a om coeng.
And, now, glorify me—thou, Father! with thyself, with the glory which I had, before the world’s existence, with thee.
6 Diklai lamkah kai taengah nan paek hlang rhoek taengah na ming ka phoe coeng. Kai nan paek rhoek te namah kah la om uh tih na ol te a tuem uh.
I manifested thy name, unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: Thine, they were, and, to me, thou gavest them, and, thy word, have they kept:
7 Ka taengah nan paek boeih te namah lamkah ni tila boeih a ming uh coeng.
Now, have they come to know, That, all things, as many as thou gavest me, are, from thee;
8 Kai taengah ol nan paek te amih ka paek. Amih loh a doe uh dongah nang lamkah ka lo tila rhep a ming uh tih nang loh kai nan tueih tila a tangnah uh.
And, the declarations which thou gavest me, have I given them, and, they, received them, and came to know in truth, that, from thee, came I forth, —and they believed, that, thou, didst send me forth.
9 Kai loh amih ham kan bih. Namah koe la a om uh dongah diklai ham kan bih pawt dae kai nan paek rhoek ham ni kan bih.
I, concerning them, make request: not, concerning the world, do I make request, but concerning them whom thou hast given me, because, thine, they are, —
10 Kai kah te khaw nang kah la boeih om tih nang kah te kai kah coeng dongah amih ah kai n'thangpom.
And, all my possessions, are, thine, and, thy possessions, mine, and I have been glorified in them.
11 Diklai ah khaw ka om mahpawh. Tedae amih tah diklai ah om pueng. Kai tah nang taengla ka lo. A cim a Pa, amih he na ming neh khoembael lah.
And, no longer, am I in the world, and, they, are, in the world, —and, I, unto thee, am coming. Holy Father! Keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, as, we.
Te daengah ni cacim tah a soep eh.
When I was with them, I, kept them in thy name which thou hast given me, —And I kept watch, and, none from among them, went the destruction, —save the son of destruction, that, the Scripture, might be fulfilled.
13 Namah taengla ka pawk coeng tih hekah he diklai ah ka thui. Te daengah ni amih khuiah aka soep ka omngaihnah te a dang uh eh.
But, now, unto thee, am I coming; and, these things, am I speaking in the world, that they may have my own joy fulfilled in themselves.
Tedae kai loh diklai kah hut la ka om pawt bangla diklai kah hut la a om uh pawt dongah amih te diklai loh a hmuhuet.
I, have given them thy word, and, the world, hated them, because they are not of the world—even as, I, am not of the world.
15 Amih te diklai lamloh doek ham pawt tih a thae khui lamkah amih na khoembael ham ni kam bih.
I request not, that thou wouldst take them out of the world, but that thou wouldst keep them out of the evil:
16 Kai loh diklai kah hut la ka om pawt bangla diklai kah hut la a om uh moenih.
Of the world, they are not, even as, I, am not of the world.
17 Amih te oltak neh ciim lah. Na olka tah oltak ni.
Hallow them in the truth: Thine own word, is, truth:
18 Diklai ah kai nan tueih bangla kai long khaw diklai la amih ka tueih.
Even as thou didst send me forth into the world, I also, send them forth into the world;
19 Te dongah amih ham kai loh kamah ka ciim uh coeng.
And, on their behalf, I, hallow myself, that, they also, may have become hallowed in truth.
20 “Tedae hekah rhoek bueng ham pawt tih amih kah olka dongah kai aka tangnah rhoek ham khaw kan bih.
Not however concerning these alone, do I make request, but, concerning them also who believe, through their word, on me:
21 Pa aw, kai ah na om tih kai khaw nang ah ka om vanbangla amih khaw pakhat la boeih om saeh. Mamih rhoi khuiah amih khaw om van saeh. Te daengah ni nang loh kai nan tueih te diklai loh a tangnah eh.
That they, all, may be, one, —even as, thou, Father, in me, and, I, in thee, —that, they also, in us, may be; —that, the world, may believe that, thou, didst send me forth.
22 Thangpomnah kai nam paek te amih ka paek coeng. Te daengah ni mamih rhoi n'thikat bangla a thikat la a om uh eh.
And, I, the glory which thou hast given to me, have given to them, that they may be one, even as, we, are, one.—
Te daengah ni namah loh kai nan tueih tih kai nan lungnah bangla amih ka lungnah te diklai loh a ming eh.
I, in them and, thou, in me; That they may have been perfected into, one, —That the world may get to know, that, thou, didst send me forth, and didst love them even as thou didst love, me.
Ka om nah ah amih khaw kamah taengah om saeh ka ngaih. Te daengah ni kamah kah thangpomnah kamah nam paek te a hmuh uh eh.
Father! As touching that which thou hast given me, I desire—That, where, I, am, they also, may be, with me, that they may behold my own glory which thou hast given me, —because thou lovedst me, before the foundation of the world.
25 Aka dueng a pa, diklai loh nang m'ming ngawn pawt cakhaw kai loh nang kan ming tih nang loh kai nan tueih te he rhoek loh a ming uh.
Righteous Father! And so, the world, came not to know thee; but, I, came to know thee, and, these, came to know that, thou, didst send me forth:
26 Namah ming te amih taengah ka phoe coeng tih ka phoe pueng ni. Te daengah ni kai nan lungnah dongkah lungnah loh amih ah om vetih kai khaw amih ah ka om eh,” a ti.
And I made known unto them thy name, and will make known, —that, the love wherewith thou lovedst me, in them, may be, and, I, in them.
