“For this reason from the Mighty One Times have not been hidden, And those knowing Him have not seen His days.

They reach the borders, They have taken a drove away violently, Indeed, they do evil.

They turn aside the needy from the way, Together have hid the poor of the earth.

Behold, wild donkeys in a wilderness, They have gone out about their work, Seeking early for prey, A mixture for himself—food for young ones.
6 Lohma ah a kamvuelh te a ah, a ah uh tih halang misurdum kah a yoep uh.
They reap his provender in a field, And they glean the vineyard of the wicked.
7 Pumtling rhoek te pueinak tling la a rhaehba sak uh tih khosik vaengah himbai mueh uh.
They cause the naked to lodge without clothing. And there is no covering in the cold.
8 Tlang kah cingtui loh a het uh tih hlipyingnah a om mueh la lungpang a kop uh.
From the inundation of hills they are wet, And without a refuge—have embraced a rock.

Men groan because of enmity, And the soul of pierced ones cries, And God does not give praise.
13 Amih te vangnah aka tloelh lakli ah om uh tih a longpuei hmat uh pawh. Te dongah a hawn ah khosa uh pawh.
They have been those rebelling against light, They have not discerned His ways, Nor abided in His paths.
14 Hlang aka ngawn loh vangnah hnukah thoo tih mangdaeng neh khodaeng te a rhaem. Khoyin ah hlanghuen bangla om.
The murderer rises at the light, He slays the poor and needy, And in the night he is as a thief.
15 Samphaih mik loh hlaemhmah a lamtawn. Hlang mik loh kai m'mae mahpawh a ti dongah a maelhmai te a huephael la a khueh.
And the eye of an adulterer Has observed the twilight, Saying, No eye beholds me. And he puts the face in secret.
16 A hmuep vaengah im a muk. Khothaih ah amih te a tlaeng uh tih vangnah te ming uh pawh.
He has dug in the darkness—houses; By day they shut themselves up, They have not known light.
17 Dueknah hlipkhup mueirhih neh a hmat uh rhoi dongah dueknah hlipkhup te mincang neh amih taengah rhenten thoeng.
When together, morning [is] death-shade to them, When he discerns the terrors of death-shade.
18 Anih te tui hman ah hoeptuep. Amih kah hmakhuen te diklai ah a tap dongah misurdum kah longpuei la mop voel pawh.
He [is] light on the face of the waters, Their portion is vilified in the earth, He does not turn the way of vineyards.
19 Rhamrhae neh kholing ah, tui khaw rhaeng tih vuelsong khaw saelkhui ah tholh coeng. (Sheol )
Drought—also heat—consume snow-waters, Sheol—[those who] have sinned. (Sheol )
20 A bung loh anih a hnilh hil ah a rhit te a poek voel pawt hil a tui sak. Tedae dumlai tah thing bangla tlawt.
The womb forgets him, The worm sweetens [on] him, He is remembered no more, And wickedness is broken as a tree.
21 Ca aka cun mueh caya aka luem puei neh nuhmai khaw loha pawh.
Treating evil the barren [who] does not bear, And he does no good [to] the widow,
22 Aka lueng pataeng a thadueng neh a kuel tih thoo mai dae hingnah dongah tangnah om pawh.
And [God] has drawn the mighty by His power, He rises, and none believes in life.
23 Anih te ngaikhuek la pae saeh lamtah hangdang saeh. Tedae Amih longpuei ah a mik a paelki.
He gives to him confidence, and he is supported, And His eyes [are] on their ways.
