< Isaiah 62 >

1 Zion ham ka ngam pawt vetih, Jerusalem ham khaw a duengnah loh, kho aa bangla ha thoeng. Te dongah anih kah khangnah loh, hmaithoi bangla a dom duela ka mong mahpawh.
For the sake of Zion will I not be silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem will I not be quiet; until its righteousness go forth as the brightness [of light], and its salvation as a burning torch.
2 Na duengnah te namtom hlang loh a hmuh uh vetih, manghai boeih loh nang kah thangpomnah a hmuh uh vaengah, BOEIPA ka kah a phoei ming thai neh nang te n'khue ni.
And nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory; and men shall call thee by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall pronounce.
3 Boeimang rhuisam tah BOEIPA kut dongah, mangpa sammuei khaw na Pathen kah kut dongah ni a om eh.
And thou shalt be a crown of ornament in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Nang te tueihno la n'khue voel pawt vetih, na khohmuen te khopong ti voel mahpawh. Nang te pumting nu la, na khohmuen rhukom la ng'khue ni. BOEIPA tah, nang dongah naep vetih, na khohmuen khaw rhukom la om ni.
Thou shalt not be termed any more “Forsaken,” and thy land shall not be termed any more “Desolate;” for thou shalt be called “My delight in her” [[Chephzi-bah]], and thy land “Espoused” [[Be'ulah]]; for the Lord will have delight in thee, and thy land shall be espoused.

For as a young man espouseth a virgin, so shall thy sons espouse thee; and as the bridegroom is glad over the bride, so will be glad over thee thy God.
6 Jerusalem nang kah vongtung soah ka hip coeng. Khothaih khing, khoyin khing, aka tawt rhoek khaw ngam uh taitu mahpawh. BOEIPA aka thoelh nangmih ham khaw, dingsueknah om pawh.
Over thy walls, O Jerusalem, have I appointed watchmen, all the day and all the night, continually, shall they not be silent: ye that make mention of the Lord, take ye no rest.
7 Jerusalem te a cikngae sak tih, diklai kah koehnah la a khueh duela, anih ham dingsueknah pae boeh.
And give him no rest, until he have established, and until he have set up Jerusalem as a praise on the earth.
8 BOEIPA loh a bantang kut neh, a sarhi ban neh a toemngam coeng. Na cangpai te na thunkha kah a caak la, koep ka pae vetih na kohnue thil misur thai te kholong ca rhoek loh o lah ve.
Sworn hath the Lord by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, I will not give thy corn any more as food for thy enemies, and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy young wine for which thou hast labored;
9 Aka coi rhoek loh a caak uh vetih, BOEIPA te a thangthen uh ni. Aka coi rhoek long khaw, kamah kah hmuencim vongup ah a ok uh ni.
But they who gather it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they who bring it together shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.
10 Vongka rhoek paan rhoe paan uh laeh. Pilnam kah longpuei te rhoekbah uh. Picai uh, picai uh, longpuei kah lungto te dae uh laeh. Pilnam ham rholik thoh uh laeh.
Pass, pass through the gates, make clear the way of the people, cast up, cast up the highway, remove away the stones, lift up a banner over the nations.
11 BOEIPA loh diklai khobawt duela a yaak coeng ke. Zion nu te thui pah. Nang kah daemnah ha pawk coeng ke. A thapang khaw amah neh a thaphu neh a mikhmuh ah om coeng ke.
Behold, the Lord hath caused to be heard unto the ends of the earth, “Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.”
12 Amih te BOEIPA kah a tlan pilnam cim la a khue uh ni. Nang te khaw a toem tih a hnoo voel pawh khopuei a ti ni.
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord; and thou shalt be called, Sought for, [[Derusha, ]] The city never forsaken.
