< Isaiah 52 >
1 Haenghang laeh, haenghang laeh Zion nang loh sarhi tak sak. Khopuei cim Jerusalem nang boeimang himbai bai laeh. Na khuiah aka pawk ham pumdul neh rhalawt loh n'koei voel mahpawh.
Awake, awake, put on your strength, Zion; put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, holy city; for never again will the uncircumcised or the unclean enter you.
2 Laipi te khoek laeh. Jerusalem aw thoo lamtah ngol laeh. Zion nu tamna aw na rhawn kah kuelrhui te hlam rhoe hlam laeh.
Shake yourself off from the dust; arise and sit, Jerusalem; take off the chain from your neck, captive, daughter of Zion.
3 Te dongah BOEIPA loh, “A yoeyap la n'yoih uh tih tangka mueh lam ni n'tlan uh eh,” a ti.
For this is what Yahweh says, “You were sold for nothing, and you will be redeemed without money.”
4 Te dongah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a. thui. Lamhma ah tah ka pilnam loh Egypt ah bakuep pahoi ham suntla tih Assyria loh lungli lungla la anih te a hnaemtaek.
For this is what the Lord Yahweh says, “In the beginning my people went down to live temporarily in Egypt; and Assyria has oppressed them for no good reason.
5 Tahae ah ba aih nim kai tloe tah, menim kai ham tah BOEIPA kah olphong lah ve? Ka pilnam te poeyoek la a khuen coeng. Anih aka taem la aka taem rhoek tah rhung uh coeng. BOEIPA kah olphong dae ta, nainoe taitu la hnin takuem ah kai ming a tlaitlaek.
Now what do I have here—this is Yahweh's declaration—seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them mock—this is Yahweh's declaration—and my name is blasphemed continually all day long.
6 Ka ming he ka pilnam loh ming tangloeng saeh. Tekah khohnin ah kamah loh, “Kai ni he,” ka ti tangloeng coeng.
Therefore my people will know my name; they will know in that day that I am the one who says, “Yes, it is I!”
7 Rhoepnah aka phong tih aka yaak sak, a then aka phong tih khangnah aka yaak sak, Zion taengah, “Na Pathen tah manghai coeng,” aka ti nah kah a khokan tah tlang soah khaw damyal tangkik mai.
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, who announces peace, who bears good tidings, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
8 Na rhaltawt rhoek kah ol tah ol pakhat la huek a huel uh tih tamhoe uh. BOEIPA te Zion la a mael vaengah tah a mik, mik ah so uh thae ni.
Listen, your watchmen raise their voices, together they shout for joy, for they will see, every eye of theirs, Yahweh's return to Zion.
9 Jerusalem imrhong rhoek tun pang uh lamtah tamhoe uh. BOEIPA loh a pilnam a hloep tih Jerusalem a tlan coeng.
Break out into joyful singing together, you ruins of Jerusalem; for Yahweh has comforted his people; he has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 Namtom boeih kah mikhmuh ah BOEIPA loh a ban cim te a lam vetih diklai khobawt ah mamih Pathen kah khangnah te boeih a hmuh uh ni.
Yahweh has bared his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; all the earth will see the salvation of our God.
11 Nong uh laeh, nong uh lamtah te lamloh coe uh laeh. Rhalawt te ben boeh, a khui lamloh nong laeh. BOEIPA kah hnopai aka phuei long tah meet uh.
Leave, leave, go out from there; touch nothing unclean; leave from her midst; purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of Yahweh.
12 Tokrhat la coe boel lamtah yonglong khaw hmaai boeh. Nangmih mikhmuh ah aka cet BOEIPA neh Israel Pathen loh nang ng'khoem ta.
For you will not go out in a rush, nor will you leave in a panic; for Yahweh will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rearguard.
13 Ka sal loh a cangbam bitni. Amah te a pomsang vetih a ludoeng vaengah bahoeng sang bitni.
Look, my servant will act wisely; he will be high and lifted up, and he will be exalted.
14 Nang taengah muep a hal uh vanbangla a hmuethma khaw hlang lakah, a suisak hlang ca rhoek lakah poeih uh tangloeng coeng.
As many were horrified at you— his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man, and his form no longer looked like anything human.
15 Namtom rhoek khaw anih kongah a haeh muep vetih manghai rhoek loh a ka a buem uh ni. Amih taengah a doek pah pawt te khaw a hmuh uh vetih a yaak uh noek pawt te a yakming uh ni.
Even so, my servant will sprinkle many nations and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For that which they had not been told, they will see, and that which they had not heard, they will understand.
