1 Judah neh Jerusalem ham Amoz capa Isaiah loh olka a hmuh.
The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz foresaw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 Hmailong kah a tue a pha vaengah BOEIPA im tlang te cikngae la om ni. Tlang dong neh som cawn vetih namtom boeih loh amah taengah hlampan uh ni.
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be firmly established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and unto it shall flow all the nations.
3 Pilnam rhoek muep cet uh vetih, “BOEIPA kah tlang la cet uh sih, Jakob Pathen im te paan uh sih lamtah a longpuei te mamih n'thuinuet ni. Te daengah ni a caehlong ah m'pongpa eh. Olkhueng te Zion lamloh, BOEIPA ol tah Jerusalem lamloh ha thoeng ni.
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us of his ways, and we may walk in his paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord out of Jerusalem.
4 Namtom rhoek lakli ah lai a tloek vetih, pilnam te a cungkuem la a tluung ni. Te vaengah a cunghang te tuktong la, a caai te vin la a dae uh ni. Namtom loh namtom taengah cunghang muk uh voel mahpawh. Caemtloek khaw cang uh voel mahpawh.
And he will judge among the nations, and decide for many people; and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-knives: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, and they shall not learn any more war.
5 Jakob imkhui halo lamtah BOEIPA kah vangnah khuiah cet uh sih.
O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.
6 Na pilnam Jokob imkhui te na phap coeng. Khothoeng lamloh a et. Philisti bangla kutyaek a sawt uh tih kholong ca rhoek neh kut a paenguh.
For thou hast abandoned thy people, the house of Jacob, because they are full of [witchcraft] more than the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and with the children of strangers they unite themselves.
7 A khohmuen ah ngun neh sui khaw bae tih a thakvoh khaw vawt pawh. A khohmuen ah marhang khaw bae tih a leng te bawt pawh.
And full became their land of silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures; and full became their land of horses, and there is no end to their chariots;
8 A khohmuen ah a kut dongkah kutsai mueirhol bae tih a kutdawn neh a saii te a bakop thiluh.
And full became their land of idols; to the work of their own hands they bow themselves, to what their own fingers have made.
9 Te dongah hlang he ngam vetih tongpa khaw kunyun ni. Tedae amih te dangrhoek boeh.
And so is bent down the son of earth, and humbled the man; and thou wilt not forgive them.
10 BOEIPA taengkah birhihnah hmai lamloh, amah kah mingthennah rhuepomnah lungpang te paan saeh lamtah laipi khuiah khaw vuei uh saeh.
Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, because of the dread of the Lord, and because of the glory of his majesty.
11 Hlang kah a oeknah mik tah kunyun vetih hlang buhuengpomnah khaw ngam ni. Te dongah te khohnin ah tah BOEIPA amah long ni a. hoeptlang eh.
The looks of human pride shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bent down: and exalted shall be the Lord alone on that day.
12 Caempuei BOEIPA kah khohnin he thinthah neh aka pomsang boeih ham khaw, aka cangdoek neh kunyun boeih ham khaw om coeng.
For there is a day [of judgment] unto the Lord of hosts over every proud and lofty one; and over every exalted one, that he be brought low;
13 Lebanon lamphai boeih, Bashan kah thingsang, thinglen thingnu boeih ham khaw,
And over all the cedars of the Lebanon, the high and exalted, and over all the oaks of Bashan;
14 Tlang sang boeih ham khaw, som thang boeih ham khaw,
And over all the high mountains, and over all the exalted hills;
15 Rhaltoengim sang boeih ham khaw, vongtung, vong cak boeih ham khaw,
And over every high tower, and over every fortified wall;
16 Tarshish sangpho boeih ham khaw, sahnaih kutmuei boeih ham khaw om coeng.
And over all the ships of Tharshish; and over all desirable palaces.
17 Te dongah hlang kah a oeknah te a ngam sak vetih, hlang kah buhuengpomnah khaw a kunyun sak ni. Te khohnin ah tah BOEIPA amah bueng ni aka sang eh.
And the pride of man shall be bent down, and the haughtiness of men shall be humbled: and exalted shall be the Lord alone on that day.
18 Mueirhol rhoek khaw boeih khum ni.
And the idols will he utterly abolish.
19 Diklai he huek ham a thoh vaengah BOEIPA kah birhihnah hmai neh amah mingthennah rhuepomnah lamloh lungpang lungko neh laipi khui te a paan uh.
And men shall enter into the caverns of rocks, and into the rifts of the earth, because of the dread of the Lord, and because of the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to terrify the earth.
20 Te khohnin ah hlang loh amah kah cak mueirhol, sui mueirhol khaw a voeih ni. A bawk ham te khothal la, pumphak la a saii uh.
On that day shall a man cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which have been made for him to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
21 Diklai huek ham a thoh vaengah BOEIPA kah birhihnah hmai neh a hoemdamnah rhuepomnah lamloh lungpang thaelrhaep neh thaelpang thaelvap la pawk uh ni.
To enter into the clefts of the rocks, and into the hollows of the cliffs, because of the dread of the Lord, and because of the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to terrify the earth.
22 A hnarhong neh aka hiil hlang te toeng laeh, anih te metlamlae a ngai aih.
Withdraw yourselves [then] from man, whose breath is in his nostrils; because, for what is he to be esteemed?
