< Hebru 1 >
1 Pathen loh a pa rhoek te tonghma rhoek lamloh a hnukhmai la puet a voek dingrhae coeng.
IN many ways, and many forms, God anciently conversed with our fathers, by the prophets:
2 Tedae tahae kah hnukkhueng khohnin ah capa lamloh mamih taengah a thui. Anih te cungkuem aka pangkung la a hmoel tih lunglai te khaw anih rhangneh a saii. (aiōn )
But in these latter days, he hath conversed with us, by his Son; whom he hath constituted heir of all things, and by whom he made the worlds; (aiōn )
3 Anih tah thangpomnah khosaeng neh a ngaikhueknah kah mueimae la om. A thaomnah olka neh a cungkuem a khoem. Tholh cimcaihnah a saii tih hmuen sang kah Boeilennah bantang ah ngol.
who is the splendor of his glory, and the image of himself, and upholdeth all by the energy of his word; and by himself he made a purgation of sins, and sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
4 Heyet a then la aka om puencawn boeih lakah amih loh poekhloep la a ming a pang.
And he is altogether superior to the angels, as he hath also inherited a name which excelleth theirs.
5 Mebang puencawn rhoek khaw, “Nang tah kamah ca ni. Kai loh tihnin ah nang kan sak, kai tah a napa la ka om vetih anih khaw ka ca la om ni,” a ti nah noek nim?
For to which of the angels did God ever say, Thou art my SON, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 Te dongah lunglai la camingomthang koep han khuen vaengah, “Pathen kah puencawn rhoek loh amah te boeih bawk uh saeh,” a ti.
And again, when bringing the first begotten into the world, he said: Let all the angels of God worship him.
7 Tedae puencawn rhoek ngawn tah, “Amah kah puencawn rhoek te khohli la, amah kah bibikung rhoek te hmai hmaitak la a saii,” a ti.
But of the angels he thus said: Who made his angels a wind, and his ministers a flaming fire.
8 Tedae capa te tah, “Aw Pathen, na ngolkhoel tah kumhal kah kumhal la cak tih na ram kah conghol tah duengnah conghol la om. (aiōn )
But of the Son he said: Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; a righteous sceptre is the sceptre of thy kingdom. (aiōn )
9 Duengnah te na lungnah tih olaeknah te na hmuhuet. Te dongah Pathen loh nang n'koelh. Na Pathen loh na pueipo lakah kohoenah situi n'koelh pai.
Thou hast loved rectitude, and hated iniquity; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness more than thy associates.
10 Te phoeiah, a cuekca vaengah Boeipa nang loh diklai na tong tih vaan te namah kah kutngo ni.
And again, Thou hast from the beginning laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of thy hands:
11 Amih tah poci vetih himbai bangla boeih rhuem ni. Tedae nang tah na nguel ni.
they will pass away, but thou endurest; and they all, like a robe, wax old;
12 Amih te hni bangla na yol vetih himbai bangla thovael uh bal ni. Tedae nang tah amah la na om tih na kum khaw bawt mahpawh.
and like a cloak, thou wilt fold them up. They will be changed; but thou wilt be as thou art, and thy years will not be finished.
13 Te dongah mebang puencawn rhoek taengah nim, “Na rhal rhoek te na kho kah khotloeng la ka khueh hlan atah kai kah bantang ah ngol,” a ti nah noek.
And to which of the angels did he ever say: Sit thou at my right hand, until I shall place thy enemies a footstool under thy feet?
14 Khangnah te pang hamla aka cai rhoek te bibinah dongah a tueih, mueihla thothueng la boeih a om moenih a?
Are they not all spirits of ministration, who are sent to minister on account of them that are to inherit life?
