< Hebru 8 >

1 Tebang khosoihham ng'khueh uh te a cuinah la n'thui coeng. Anih tah vaan kah Boeilennah ngolkhoel bantang ah ngol.
Now the sum of the things that have been said is this, that we have such an high-priest, who is sat down at the right hand of the throne of the majesty in the heavens;
2 Hmuencim neh dap tang kah bibikung la om. Te te hlang long pawt tih Boeipa long ni a. tuk.
a minister of holy things, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord hath raised, and not man.
3 Khosoihham boeih te kutdoe neh hmueih nawn ham a tuek. Pakhat khaw a khueh tangkik coeng dongah tekah te khaw nawn saeh.
For every high-priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; wherefore it was necessary that He also should have something to offer.
4 Diklai ah om tangloeng ngawn koinih khosoih la ka om eh a ti moenih. Olkhueng dongah kutdoe aka nawn rhoek lam ni a om uh.
For if He were on earth, He could not be a priest, seeing there are priests already that offer gifts according to the law:
5 Amih loh vaan kah moeiboe neh mueihlip te a bawk uh. Moses loh dap a coeng tom a mangthui pah. A hmuh dongah, “Tlang dongkah nang kan tueng bangla a mueimae boeih saii,” a ti.
who worship under the representation and shadow of heavenly things; as Moses was ordered by God, when he was about to finish the tabernacle. For see, saith He, that thou make all according to the model shewn thee in the mount.
6 Tedae thothueng tanglue a dang coeng. Paipi dongah rhikhangkung aka then lam khaw muep om. Te long te a then la olkhueh ol a rhi thil.
But now He hath obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which is established upon better promises.
7 Lamhma te cuemthuek la om koinih a hmuen pabae tlap mahpawh.
For if the first covenant had been unexceptionable, there had been no room for a second:
8 Tedae amih te a coel dongah, “Khohnin ha pawk coeng ke,” a ti. Boeipa loh, “Israel imkhui ah khaw, Judah imkhui ah khaw paipi thai ka thoh ni,” a ti.
as we see there was, for after complaining of them, He adds, "Behold the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
9 Amih kut te ka tuuk tih Egypt kho lamloh amih ka doek hnin vaengkah a napa rhoek taengah ka saii paipi bang te moenih. Amih tah kai kah paipi dongah a ngol pai uh pawt dongah kai long khaw amih te ka sawtrhoel. Boeipa loh a ti.
not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; for they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 Hekah paipi tah te khohnin phoeiah ni Israel imkhui ah ka saii eh. Boeipa long ni a thui. Ka olkhueng he a kopoek ah ka paek vetih amih thinko ah ka daek pah ni. Te vaengah amih taengah Pathen la ka om vetih amih khaw ka pilnam la om uh ni.
But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind, and I will inscribe them on their hearts; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.
11 Te vaengah pakhat rhip loh a pilnam te khaw, pakhat rhip loh a manuca te khaw, “Boeipa te ming lah,” a ti nah vetih thuituen uh loengloeng mahpawh. Amih tanoe lamkah kangham duela kai boeih m'ming uh ni.
And they shall not teach every one his neighbour, and every one his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the lest even to the greatest of them.
12 Amih kah boethae te poekpoei rhola la ka om pah vetih amih kah tholhnah te ka poek khuep voel mahpawh.
For I will forgive their crimes, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more."
13 A thai a thui rhang neh paipi lamhma te a rhuem sak. Te dongah a rhuemrho neh a rhuemrho tah khum tom coeng.
Now by saying, a new covenant, He hath antiquated the first: and what is antiquated, and groweth old, is near it's exit.
