< Hebru 3 >

1 Te dongah vaan kah khuenah neh pueipo, a cim manuca rhoek, mamih olphoei dongkah caeltueih neh khosoihham Jesuh te hmat uh.
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Emissary and High Priest of our confession: Yeshua,
2 Anih te Moses bangla a im pum ah uepom neh aka om la a khueh van.
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house.
3 Im aka rhoekbah loh hinyahnah cungkuem a khueh ngai bangla anih tah Moses lakah thangpomnah muep a tueng pah.
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 Im boeih he khat khat loh a rhoekbah dae Pathen loh a cungkuem te a rhoekbah.
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5 Tedae a im pum kah uepom Moses tah laipainah ham te tueihyoeih bangla a thui uh.
Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6 Tedae Khrih tah amah im ah capa bangla om tih mamih khaw sayalh la ngaiuep thangpomnah te rhep n'tuuk uh atah a im kah la n'om uh.
but Messiah is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
7 Te dongah Mueihla Cim loh a thui vanbangla, Tihnin ah a ol te na yaak uh atah,
Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
8 Khosoek ah noemcainah khohnin kah koeknah bangla na thinko te ning sak uh boeh.
don’t harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9 Te ah te na pa rhoek loh noemcainah neh a n'noemcai uh dongah kum sawmli khuiah kai kah khoboe te a hmuh uh.
where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years.
10 Te dongah tekah cadil rhoek te ka noih tih, 'Amih loh thinko a taengphaelh uh taitu dongah ka longpuei te ming uh pawh,’ ka ti nah.
Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’
11 Ka kosi neh ka toemngam vanbangla kai kah duemnah khuiah kun uh mahpawh.
As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’”
12 Manuca rhoek, ngaithuen uh. Aka hing Pathen taeng lamkah aka nong sak hnalvalnah thinko thae te nangmih ah khat long khaw khueh ve ne.
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13 Tedae tihnin ah n'khue vanbangla hnin takuem amah la hloep uh thae. Te daengah ni tholhnah dongkah hmilhmaknah dongah nangmih khuikah pakhat long khaw a ning pawt eh.
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 Te dongah Khrih kah a pueipo la n'om uh daengah ni ngaikhueknah kah a tongnah te a bawt due a khangmai la n'tuuk uh eh.
For we have become partakers of Messiah, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
15 A thui bangla tihnin ah a ol te na yaak uh atah koeknah vaengkah bangla nangmih kah thinko te ning sak uh boeh.
while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
16 A yaak uh lalah aka koek te unim? Tedae Moses loh Egypt lamkah a caeh puei rhoek boeih moenih a?
For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?
17 Te vaengah kum sawmli a noih te unim? Aka tholh rhoek taengah moenih a? Amih kah a pum tah khosoek ah la a yalh.
With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 Te phoeiah ol aek rhoek pawt koinih amah kah duemnah khuila kun pawt ham a toemngam te unim?
To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19 Te dongah hnalvalnah neh kun ham tah coeng uh mahpawh tila m'hmuh uh.
We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.
