1 Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Noah taengah, tahae kah thawnpuei khuiah nang he kai hmai ah hlang dueng la kan hmuh coeng dongah namah neh na imkhui boeih loh lawng khui la kun laeh.
And Yahweh said to Noah, Enter thou and all thy house, into the ark, —for, thee, have I seen righteous before me, in this generation.
2 Aka caih rhamsa boeih lamkaha tal neha la parhih, parhih neh aka caih mueh rhamsa khuikah te tongpa neha yal panit ah,
Of all the clean beasts, shalt thou take to thee by sevens, a male and his female, —and, of the beasts that are not clean, shall be two a male and his female.
3 Vaan kah vaa khaw diklai hman boeih aha tii la hlun hama hluei neha la panit, panitah namah taengla lo.
Also of the bird of the heavens, by sevens, male and female, —to keep alive a seed on the face of all the earth.
4 Tahae lamkah hnin rhih phoeiah tah diklai ah khothaih hnin likip neh khoyin hnin likip te kho ka tlan sak vetih diklai hman kah ka saii mulhing boeih te ka khoe ni,” a ti nah.
For in seven days more, I, am sending rain on the earth, forty days and forty nights, —so will I wipe out all the living things which I have made, from off the face of the ground.
5 Te dongah BOEIPA loh aniha uen vanbanglaa cungkuem te Noahloh a saii.
And Noah did, —according to all that Yahweh commanded him.
6 Diklai ah tuilii tui halo vaengah Noah tah kum ya rhuk lo.
Now, Noah, was six hundred years old, —when, the flood, came, even waters on the earth.
7 Tuilii tui kongah Noah loh a carhoek khaw, a yuu khaw, a langarhoek khaw, amah taengah aka om rhoek khaw, lawng khuilaa khuen.
So Noah entered, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him into the ark, —from before the waters of the flood,
8 Aka caih rhamsa lamkah khaw, aka caih pawh rhamsa lamkah khaw, vaa khaw, diklai ah aka yuel boeih khaw,
Of the beasts that were clean, and of the beasts that were not clean, —and of the birds, and everything that creepeth on the ground,
9 Pathen loh Noaha uen vanbanglaa hluei neha la panit panit loh Noah taengkah lawng tea paan uh.
two and two, went they in unto Noah, into the ark male and female, —as God commanded Noah.
10 Hnin rhiha om phoeiah tuilii tui te khaw diklai ah halo.
And it came to pass, in the seven days, —that the waters of the flood, came on the earth.
11 Noah kah a hingnah te kum ya rhuk kum, a hla bae, hla kah hnin hlai rhih khohnin ah tuisih laedil puei boeih te phuet tih vaan rhoek kah bangbuet khaw ong uh.
In the six hundredth year, the year of the life of Noah. in the second month on the seventeenth day of the month on this day, were burst open all the fountains of the great roaring deep, and the windows of the heavens, were set open.
12 Te phoeiah khonal te diklai ah khothaih hnin likip neh khoyin hnin likipah tlan.
(And it came to pass that the heavy rain was on the earth, —forty days and forty nights.)
13 Amah tekah khohnin van vaengah Noah neh Noah kah a carhoek Shem, Ham, Japheth neh Noah yuu neh a langa pathum tah amah neh lawng khuila kun uh.
On this selfsame day, entered Noah, and Shem and Ham and Japheth. Noah’s sons, —and Noah’s wife, and his sons’ three wives with them into the ark:
14 Amih neh mulhing boeih khaw amah hui la, rhamsa boeih khaw amah hui la, diklai ah aka yuel rhulcai boeih khaw amah hui la, vaa boeih khaw amah hui la, vathawt boeih neh phae aka khueh boeih khaw,
they, and all the wild-beasts after their kind and all the tame-beasts after their kind, and all the creeping things that creep on the earth after their kind, —and all the birds after their kind, every bird of every wing.
15 pumsa ah hingnah hil aka om boeih khuikahloh a bok bok la Noah taengkah lawng khuila kun uh.
So they entered in unto Noah, into the ark, —two and two of all flesh, wherein was the spirit of life.
16 Te dongah Pathen kah a uen vanbangla pumsa boeih khuikaha hluei neha la loh ham paan uh tih a kun uh phoeiah BOEIPA loh lawng te a khaih.
And, they that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered, as God commanded him, —and Yahweh shut him in round about.
17 Tuilii te khaw diklai ah khohnin likip lo tih tui khaw yet. Te dongah lawng tea phoh hang tih diklai dong lamloha pom.
And it came to pass, that the flood was forty days on the earth, —and the waters increased and bare up the ark, and it was lifted high above the earth,
18 Tui khaw len khungdaeng tih diklai ah muepa yet dongah lawng te tui hman soah cet.
And the waters prevailed and increased greatly, on the earth, —and the ark went its way on the face of the waters.
19 Te phoeiah tui te diklai ah bahoeng len tih vaan hmui boeih kah tlang sangrhoek boeih te a khuk.
Yea the waters, prevailed very greatly, on the earth, —so that all the high mountains became covered, that were under all the heavens:
20 Tui tea so ben la dong hlai ngaa sang dongah tlangrhoek te boeih a khuk.
fifteen cubits upwards, prevailed the waters, so that the mountains became covered.
21 Te dongah diklai ah aka yuel saa boeih neh vaa boeih, rhamsa khaw, mulhing khaw, diklai dongkah aka luem rhulcai boeih khaw, hlang khaw boeih pal.
And all flesh ceased to breathe that moved on the earth, of birds and of tame-beasts and of wild-beasts, and of all the swarming things that swarm on the earth, —and all mankind.
22 A hnarhong khuiah hingnah mueihla hiil aka khueh boeih te khaw, lanhak ah aka om boeih te khaw duek uh.
All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life of all that were on the dry ground died.
23 Te vaengah diklai hman kah mulhing boeih, hlang lamloh rhamsa due, rhulcai neh vaan kah vaa due, a khoe dongah diklai ah hmata uh. Tedae Noah neh lawng khuiah amah neh aka om rhoek bueng te sueng.
Thus was wiped out all that existed on the face of the ground, from man unto beast unto creeping thing, and unto the bird of the heavens, thus were they wiped out from the earth, —so that there was left—only Noah and they that were with him in the ark.
24 Tui te khaw diklai ah khohnin ya neh sawmnga khuiah len.
Thus prevailed the waters on the earth, —a hundred and fifty days.
