And the LORD said unto Cain, Why are you angry? and why is your countenance fallen?
7 Doe hamla a then mai moenih a? Na then pawt dongah ni thohka ah tholhnah a kol mai. Tedae a lungdueknah te nang ham om mai cakhaw namah loh a soah taemrhai saw,” a ti nah.
If you do well, shall you not be accepted? and if you do not well, sin lies at the door. And unto you shall be his desire, and you shall rule over him.
8 Tedae Kain loh a mana Abel te kohong laa khue tih a om rhoi vaengah Kain loh a mana Abel tea hnueih tiha ngawn.
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

When you till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto you her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shall you be in the earth.
13 Tedae Kain loh BOEIPA taengah, “Kai kathaesainah te phueih ham lakah len aih.
And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

16 Te dongah Kain tah BOEIPA mikhmuh lamkah cet tih Eden kah khothoeng ben Nodi khohmuen ah kho a sak.
And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad brings forth Mehujael: and Mehujael brings forth Methusael: and Methusael brings forth Lamech.
19 Te phoeiah Lamek loh amah ham yuu panita lohtih pakhat kah a ming tah Adah tiha pabae kah a ming tah Zillah ni.

And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; all of you wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
24 Kain ham voei rhih la phu a loh atah Lamek ham khaw voei sawmrhih neh parhih la phuloh pah saeh,” a ti nah.
If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
