< Ezekiel 7 >

1 BOEIPA ol kai taengla ha pawk tih,
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 “Nang hlang capa aw ka Boeipa Yahovah loh Israel khohmuen kah a bawtnah ham he ni a thui. Khohmuen a hmoi pali, pali ah a bawtnah ha pawk coeng.
Thou therefore O son of man. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, To the so of Israel, there is an end, - The end hath come upon the four skirts of the land.
3 A bawtnah he nang soah a pai coeng dongah ka thintoek he nang taengla kan tueih ni.
Now is the end upon thee, Therefore will I send mine anger against thee, And judge thee according to thy ways, - And lay upon thee all thine abominations;
Te vaengah BOEIPA kamah he nam ming bitni.
And mine eye shall not shield thee. Neither will I pity, —. For thy ways—upon thee, will I lay. And thine abominations in thy midst, shall be found, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
5 “Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Yoethae pakhat kah yoethae thoeng he.
Thus saith My Lord Yahweh: A calamity, a sole calamity, lo! it hath come.
6 A bawtnah ha pawk coeng. A bawtnah ha pawk coeng. Haenghang tih nang taengla ha pawk coeng ke.
An end hath come, Come hath the end It hath roused itself up against thee, — Lo! it hath come.
The circle hath come round unto thee. O inhabitant of the land, - The time, hath come, The day of consternation, hath drawn near. And not the joyful shout of the mountains.
Now shortly, will I pour out mine indignation upon thee, And will bring to an end mine anger against thee, And will judge thee according to thy ways, - And will lay upon thee all thine abominations.
9 Ka mik loh rhen pawt vetih lungma ka ti mahpawh.
And mine eye shall not shield thee Neither will I have pity, — According to thy ways, unto thee will I render, And thine abominations, in thy midst shall be found, So shall ye know that I, Yahweh am smiting.
10 “Khohnin ha pai coeng he, cangen khaw yulh coeng he. Conghol loh khooi tih althanah khaw muem coeng.
Lo! the day, Lo! it hath come, The circle, hath gone forth, The sceptre, hath blossomed, Insolence hath sprouted:
11 Kuthlahnah tah halangnah conghol dongah poe. Tedae amih khuikah te a hong ni, a hlangping khuikah khaw a honghi, a boei khuikah a honghi, amih kah rhahlung rhaengsae khaw a hong ni.
Violence hath risen up as a sceptre of lawlessness, —There are none of them And none of their multitude And none of their throngs And no lamentation over them.
12 A tue ha pawk coeng tih khohnin loh ha pai coeng. Aka lai loh a kohoe boel saeh lamtah aka yoi khaw nguekcoi boel saeh. A hlangping boeih soah a thinsa coeng.
The time hath come. The day hath arrived, The buyer, let him not rejoice, and The seller, let him not mourn, — For indignation, is against all her multitude.
13 Aka yoi kah hnoyoih te a hing la a hing uh khui khaw koep mael pawh. A hlangping boeih ham a mangthui te lat mahpawh te. Hlang he amah kah thaesainah dongah a hingnah talong thai mahpawh.
For the seller, unto that which is to be sold, shall not return, though yet among the living, were their life, for the vision is against all her multitude. He shall not return, And, no man, by his punishment, shall strengthen, his life.
14 “A cungkuem te soepboe ham olueng te a ueng thil. Tedae a hlangping boeih sokah ka thinsa dongah ni caemtloek la a caeh pawh.
They have blown the trumpet, even to make All ready, Yet is there none going to the battle; For mine indignation is against all her multitude.
15 Tollong ah cunghang neh im ah duektahaw neh khokha om. Lohma kah te cunghang dongah duek vetih khopuei kah te khokha neh duektahaw loh a dolh ni.
The sword without, and Pestilence and famine within, — He that is in the field by the sword, shall die, and He that is in the city famine or pestilence shall devour him;
16 Amih hlangyong rhoek tah loeih uh suidae tlang ah kolrhawk vahui bangla om uh ni. Hlang boeih he amamih kah thaesainah dongah kawk uh ni.
While they who escape of them shall escape and become on the mountains as the doves of the valleys, all of them cooing, —each one in his punishment.
All hands shall be unnerved; and All knees shall be weak as water,
18 Tlamhni a vah uh vetih amih te tuennah loh a thing ni.
Therefore shall they gird themselves with sackcloth, And shuddering shall cover them, -And in all faces, shall be paleness, And in all their heads, baldness.
19 A ngun tollong la a voeih uh vetih a sui te pumom bangla om ni. A ngun neh a sui loh amih a huul ham a coeng moenih. BOEIPA kah thinpom khohnin ah amih kah hinglu te cung pawt vetih amih bung khaw hah mahpawh. Amih kah thaesainah tah hmuitoel la om coeng.
Their silver into the streets, shall they cast and Their gold for throwing away, shall serve, Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Yahweh, Their craving, shall they not satisfy, and Their belly, shall they not fill, For a stumbling-block, hath their iniquity become.
20 Amih kah kirhang cangen te a hoemdamnah ham a khueh. Tedae amih kah tueilaehkoi neh a sarhingkoi tah a muei la amah taengah a saii uh. Te dongah amih te pumom la ka khueh.
When, the beauty of his own ornament, he had, in majesty, placed, Then, the images, of their abominations Their detestable things, Made they therein, — For this cause have I delivered it up to them for removal;
Yea I will deliver it Into the hand of foreigners for a prey, And to the lawless ones of the earth for a spoil, And they will profane it;
22 Ka maelhmai te amih lamloh ka mangthung vaengah ka khoem duen te a poeih uh. A khuila dingca rhoek kun uh vetih a poeih uh ni.
And I will turn away my face from them, And they will profane my cherished place, —Yea there will enter it violent men Who will profane it.
23 “Khohmuen he thii kah laitloeknah bae tih khopuei he kuthlahnah a khawk coeng dongah thirhui saii uh laeh.
Prepare thou a chain, — For, the land, is full of the crime of bloodshed, And, the city, is full of violence.
24 Namtom kah boethae te ka thoeng sak vetih amih im kah te a huul uh ni. Hlangtlung kah hoemdamnah te ka paa sak vetih a rhokso te a poeih uh ni.
So then I will bring in the wicked ones of the nations, And they shall take possession of their houses, —And I will cause to cease the pomp of the strong ones, And their holy places shall be profaned.
25 Mitmoengnah a pai dongah ngaimongnah tlap uh cakhaw dang uh mahpawh.
Destruction, hath entered, - And they shall seek welfare and there be none.
26 Lucik soah lucik pai vetih olthang soah olthang om ni. Tonghma lamkah mangthui tlap cakhaw khosoih lamkah olkhueng neh patong rhoek kah cilsuep khaw paltham ni.
Disaster upon disaster, shall come, And report after report shall arise, Therefore shall they seek a vision from prophet, And law shall perish from priest. And counsel from elders.
27 Manghai te nguekcoi vetih khoboei loh khopong ni a bai eh. Khohmuen kah pilnam kut khaw hlinghlawk vetih a khosing bangla amih te ka saii ni. Amamih laitloeknah dongah amamih te lai ka tloek vaengah BOEIPA kamah te m'ming uh bitni,” a ti.
The king, shall mourn and, The chief, shall clothe himself with astonishment, and, the hands of the people of the land, shall be wrung in anguish, — After their own way, will I deal with them and, With their own sentences, will I sentence them, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
