< Ezekiel 40 >

In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was smitten, in the same day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me there.
2 Pathen kah mangthuinah neh Israel khohmuen la kai n'khuen. Te vaengah kai te tlang sang tangkik ah n'duem sak tih a sokah tuithim ah khopuei mueimae bang om.
In the visions of God he brought me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was a structure like a city on the south.
3 Kai te pahoi m'pawk puei vaengah tah hlang kah a mueimae mah rhohum kah mueimae bangla tarha om. Te vaengah amah te a kut dongkah hlamik hamnak, capu cungnueh neh vongka ah pai.
And he brought me there, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.
And the man said to me, Son of man, behold with thy eyes, and hear with thy ears, and set thy heart upon all that I shall show thee; for to the intent that I might show them to thee art thou brought here: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.
5 Im vongvoel vongtung aih he a kaep a kaep ah hlang kut kah capu cungnueh neh a dong la dong rhuk kutsom pakhat lo. Buengngol kah a daang te capu pakhat phoeiah capu pakhat a sang la a nueh.
And behold a wall on the outside of the house all around, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.
6 Te phoeiah khothoeng longpuei la maelhmai aka mang vongka te a paan tih a tangtlaeng so, a tangtlaeng soah luei. Te vaengah vongka kah cingkhaa te a daang capu pakhat neh a nueh tih cingkhaa pakhat te a daang capu pakhat om.
Then he came to the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up its steps, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad.
7 Tanhnaem te a yun capu khat neh a daang khaw capu khat sen. Tanhnaem laklo te dong nga ka tih vongka cingkhaa taengkah, im vongka kah ngalha khaw capu pakhat sen bal.

He measured also the porch of the gate within, one reed.

And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.
11 Te phoeiah vongka thohka te a daang dong rha neh vongka kah a yun te dong hlai thum la a nueh.
And he measured the breadth of the entrance of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.

And outside the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.
45 Te vaengah kai taengah, “Tuithim longpuei aka hmaitoh imkhan he imkhui kah a kuek aka ngaithuen khosoih rhoek ham saeh.
And he said to me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.

And the chamber whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, who come near to the LORD to minister to him.
