Ezekiel 28
1 BOEIPA ol te kai taengah ha pawk tih,
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 “Hlang capa aw, Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh a thui he Tyre rhaengsang taengah thui pah. Na lungbuei sang tih, 'Kai la pathen, tuipuei tuilung kah pathen tolrhum ah ka ngol,’ na ti. Tedae nang hlang tangkik loh na lungbuei tah pathen lungbuei la na poek cakhaw na pathen moenih.
Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Whereas thy heart was lifted up, and thou saidst, A god am I, on the seat of the gods do I dwell, in the heart of the seas; yet thou art but a man, and not God, while thou esteemest thy mind equal to the mind of God;
3 Daniel lakah Daniel la na cueih ta te. A kael boeih khaw nang ham a hmuep moenih ko te.
Behold, thou wast wiser than Daniel; no secret was obscure to thee;
4 Na cueihnah neh na lungcuei lamloh na thadueng la na saii. Na thakvoh khuiah sui neh cak na hen.
With thy wisdom and with thy understanding hadst thou gotten thee riches, and hadst gotten gold and silver into thy treasuries;
5 Na hnothungnah dongah na cueihnah khaw puh tih na thadueng sai van. Tedae na thadueng dongah na thinko sang.
By the abundance of thy wisdom in thy traffic hadst thou increased thy riches; and thy heart was lifted up because of thy riches:
6 Na thinko te pathen kah lungbuei bangla na ngai dongah ni ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he he a thui.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because thou hast esteemed thy mind equal to the mind of God,
7 Te dongah ni hlanghaeng neh namtom kholong te nang taengla kang khuen he. A cunghang neh na cueihnah sakthen te a khoh uh vetih na omyalnah khaw a poeih ni.
Therefore, behold, will I bring over thee strangers, the fiercest • of nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall profane thy elegance.
8 Vaam khuila nang n'suntlak sak uh vetih tuipuei tuilung ah rhok dongkah dueknah neh na duek ni.
Down to the grave will they cast thee, and thou shalt die the deaths of the slain in the heart of the seas.
9 Nang aka ngawn kah mikhmuh ah, 'Kai la pathen,’ na ti khaw na ti aya? Nang adam ngawn tah namah aka poeih kut ah na pathen moenih.
Wilt thou then say, I am God, before him that slayeth thee? when thou art but a man, and no God, in the hand of him that fatally wounded thee.
10 Kamah loh ka thui coeng dongah kholong kut ah ni pumdul kah dueknah neh na duek eh. He tah ka Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong ni,” a ti.
The deaths of the uncircumcised shalt thou die by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal.
11 BOEIPA ol te kai taengla ha pawk bal tih,
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
12 Hlang capa aw Tyre manghai ham rhahlung phueih pah lamtah amah te thui pah. Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a. thui. Cueihnah khuengrhueng neh sakthen boeih kah cungkuemnah kutha aka daeng khaw nang ni.
Son of man, take up a lamentation concerning the king of Tyre, and say unto him, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Thou wast complete in outline, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Pathen kah dum Eden ah tah lung vang cungkuem te na thoeicamnah tih lungling vaya, lungmik, timsuih, oitha, maihae, minhum khocillung neh tamkuei, na kamrhing neh na rhotak toembael sui hnopai neh nang n'suen khohnin ah ni na khuiah a tawn uh.
In 'Eden the garden of God didst thou abide; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, the topaz, and the diamond, the chrysolite, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold; thy tabrets and thy flutes of artificial workmanship were prepared in thee on the day thou wast created.
14 Nang tah koelhnah aka thingthung cherubim ni. Te dongah ni Pathen kah cimcaihnah tlang ah nang kang khueh. Hmai lungto lakli ah khaw na om tih na pongpa coeng.
Thou wast a cherub with outspread covering [wings]; and I had set thee upon the holy mountain of God [as] thou wast; in the midst of the stones of fire didst thou wander.
15 Nang kan suen khohnin lamloh na khuikah dumlai a phoe hil pataeng na longpuei ah na cuemthuek.
Perfect wast thou in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till wickedness was found in thee.
16 Na hnothungnah kah a puhnah lamloh na kotak te kuthlahnah hah tih na tholh. Te dongah ni Pathen kah tlang lamloh nang kam poeih tih hmai lungto lakli lamkah aka thingthung cherubim taeng lamloh nang kam milh sak.
By the abundance of thy commerce thou wast filled to thy centre with violence, and thou didst sin: therefore I degraded thee out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Na sakthen dongah na lungbuei khaw sang tih na cueihnah neh na poci. Na omyalnah dongah ni diklai la manghai rhoek kah mikhmuh ah nang kam voeih tih nang te sawt sak ham nang kang khueh.
Thy heart was lifted up through thy beauty, thou didst corrupt thy wisdom by reason of thy elegance: [therefore] I cast thee down to the ground, before kings did I set thee that they might gaze on thee.
18 Na hnothungnah dumlai dongah namah kathaesainah tah khawk tih na rhokso ni na poeih coeng. Te dongah ni na khui lamloh hmai ka puek sak tih nang n'hlawp. Te vaengah nang aka so boeih kah mikhmuh ah nang te diklai hmaiphu la kang khueh.
Through the abundance of thy iniquities, through the wickedness of thy commerce didst thou profane thy sanctuaries: therefore brought I forth fire from the midst of thee, this devoured thee, and I changed thee to ashes upon the earth before the eyes of all those that saw thee.
19 Pilnam khuikah nang aka ming boeih loh nang soah hal uh coeng. Mueirhih la na poeh tanglang tih kumhal duela na phoe pawh,” a ti.
All that know thee among the people are astonished concerning thee: thou art as though thou hadst not been, and thou shalt not be any more for ever.
20 BOEIPA ol te kai taengla ha pawk bal tih,
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
21 “Hlang capa aw Sidon te na maelhmai khueh thil lamtah tonghma thil laeh.
Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,
22 vaengah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh a thui he thui pah. Kai loh Sidon nang kam pai thil coeng ne. Na kotak khuiah ka thangpom uh vetih BOEIPA kamah tila m'ming uh bitni. Tholhphu te anih soah ka saii vetih a khuiah ka ciim uh bitni.
And thou shalt say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon, and I will be honored in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I execute judgments on her, and will be sanctified on her.
23 A khuikah duektahaw neh a kawtpoeng ah thii ka tueih vaengah a kaepvai kah cunghang neh a kholung ah a rhok la cungku ni. Te vaengah BOEIPA kamah te m'ming uh bitni.
And I will send out against her pestilence, and blood-[shedding] into her streets; and the deadly wounded shall be felled in the midst of her by the sword [that is] against her from every side: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
24 Te vaengah Israel imkhui ham tangti kah a huet neh hling kah a do khaw om voel mahpawh. A kaepvai boeih lamkah amih aka hnaep long khaw kai he ka Boeipa Yahovah ni tila a ming uh bitni.
And there shall be no more unto the house of Israel a pricking brier, nor painful thorn from all that are round about them, that despoil them: and they shall know that I am the Lord Eternal.
25 Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a. thui. Israel imkhui te pilnam lamloh ka coi. Amih taengla taekyak uh cakhaw namtom mikhmuh kah amih taengah ka ciim coeng. Te dongah a khohmuen ah kho a sak uh ni. Te te ka sal Jakob taengah ka paek coeng.
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, When I gather the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified on them before the eyes of the nations: then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
26 A khuiah ngaikhuek la hing uh vetih im a sak uh ni. Misur a phung uh vetih ngaikhuek la hing uh ni. A kaepvai lamkah amih aka hnaep boeih soah tholhphu ka suk vaengah kai he BOEIPA a Pathen la a ming uh bitni.
And they shall dwell thereupon in safety, and they shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell in safety; when I execute judgments on all those that despoiled them from round about them: and they shall know that I am the Lord their God.
