< Ezekiel 12 >

1 BOEIPA ol te kai taengla ha pawk tih,
The LORD’s word also came to me, saying,
2 “Boekoek imkhui lung ah kho aka sa hlang capa nang, amih te hmuh ham mik om dae a hmuh uh moenih, a yaak ham hna khaw a khueh uh dae amih te boekoek imkhui kah coeng dongah ya uh pawh.
“Son of man, you dwell in the middle of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and don’t see, who have ears to hear, and don’t hear; for they are a rebellious house.
3 Te dongah hlang capa nang, vangsawn kah hnopai te namah ham rhoekbah lamtah khothaih kah amih mikhmuh ah poelyoe pah. Namah hmuen lamloh amih mikhmuh ah a tloe hmuen la poelyoe pah. Amih boekoek imkhui loh a hmuh uh khaming.
“Therefore, you son of man, prepare your baggage for moving, and move by day in their sight. You shall move from your place to another place in their sight. It may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.
4 Na hnopai te khothaih kah amih mikhmuh ah vangsawn kah hno bangla sat lamtah kholaeh ah khaw amih mikhmuh ah vangsawn kah a pongthoh bangla na thoeng pah mako.
You shall bring out your baggage by day in their sight, as baggage for moving. You shall go out yourself at evening in their sight, as when men go out into exile.
5 Amih mikhmuh ah namah ham pangbueng te thuk lamtah te long te khuen.
Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry your baggage out that way.
6 Amih mikhmuh ah na laengpang soah kawt lamtah a hmuep due na maelhmai dah lamtah khuen. Te daengah ni Israel imkhui ham kopoekrhai la nang kang khueh te khohmuen loh a hmuh pawt eh?,” a ti.
In their sight you shall bear it on your shoulder, and carry it out in the dark. You shall cover your face, so that you don’t see the land, for I have set you for a sign to the house of Israel.”
7 Te dongah ng'uen bangla ka saii tangloeng tih kamah kah hnopai te khothaih ah vangsawn kah hnopai bangla ka khuen. Kholaeh ah pangbueng te kamah ham kut neh ka thuk. A hmuep vaengah laengpang soah ka tloeng tih amih mikhmuh la ka pawk puei.
I did so as I was commanded. I brought out my baggage by day, as baggage for moving, and in the evening I dug through the wall with my hand. I brought it out in the dark, and bore it on my shoulder in their sight.
8 BOEIPA ol tah mincang ah kai taengla ha pawk tih,
In the morning, the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
9 “Hlang capa, boekoek imkhui kah Israel imkhui loh na saii te nang taengah thui uh pawt nim?
“Son of man, hasn’t the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you, ‘What are you doing?’
10 Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh a thui he a taengah thui pah. He tah Jerusalem neh amih khui kah Israel imkhui boeih ham khoboei kah olrhuh ni.
“Say to them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel among whom they are.”’
11 ' Ka saii bangla nangmih kah miknoeknah tah kai ni. Amih te vangsawn la a khueh vetih na tamna la cet uh ni.
“Say, ‘I am your sign. As I have done, so will it be done to them. They will go into exile, into captivity.
12 Amih lakli kah khoboei khaw a hmuep ah a laengpang neh a koh vetih coe uh ni. Pangbueng khui long coe ham te a thuk uh ni. A maelhmai te a thing vetih a mik dongah khohmuen khaw hmu mahpawh.
“‘The prince who is among them will bear his baggage on his shoulder in the dark, and will go out. They will dig through the wall to carry things out that way. He will cover his face, because he will not see the land with his eyes.
13 Te vaengah ka lawk te anih ham ka tung vetih ka rhalvong dongah man bitni. Anih te Khalden khohmuen Babylon la ka thak vaengah he he a hmuh kolla pahoi duek ni.
I will also spread my net on him, and he will be taken in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Kasdim; yet he will not see it, though he will die there.
14 A kaepvai boeih te khaw anih kah bomkung bomkung neh a caembong boeih khohli cungkuem taengla ka haeh vetih amih hnuk te cunghang neh ka khoh ni.
I will scatter toward every wind all who are around him to help him, and all his bands. I will draw out the sword after them.
15 BOEIPA kamah he a ming uh bitni. Amih te namtom taengah ka taekyak ham neh amih te paeng taengah ka haeh coeng.
“‘They will know that I am the LORD when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries.
16 Tedae amih kah hlang te amah tarhing ah cunghang lamkah neh khokha lamkah khaw duektahaw lamkah ka hlun ni. Te daengah ni athoeng uh thil namtom taengah khaw amamih kah tueilaehkoi cungkuem te a tae uh pahoi vetih BOEIPA kamah te m'ming uh eh,” a ti.
But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence, that they may declare all their abominations among the nations where they come. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”
17 Te phoeiah BOEIPA ol te kai taengah ha pawk tih,
Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
18 “Hlang capa, na buh te hinghuennah neh ca lamtah na tui te khoponah neh, mawnnah neh o.
“Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with fearfulness.
19 Te phoeiah khohmuen kah pilnam taengah thui pah. Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a. thui. Israel khohmuen kah Jerusalem khosa rhoek a buh te mawnnah neh ca uh saeh lamtah a tui te a maehmanah neh o uh saeh. A khohmuen te a cungkuem ah a khui khosa boeih kuthlahnah dongah rhawp ni.
Tell the people of the land, ‘The Lord GOD says concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem and Eretz-Israel: “They will eat their bread with fearfulness and drink their water in dismay, that her land may be desolate, and all that is therein, because of the violence of all those who dwell therein.
20 Khosa khopuei rhoek khaw khap uh vetih khohmuen he khopong la poeh ni. Te vaengah BOEIPA kamah te nan ming uh bitni,” a ti.
The cities that are inhabited will be laid waste, and the land will be a desolation. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”’”
21 BOEIPA ol tah kai taengah koep ha pawk tih,
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
22 “Hlang capa, nang taengkah thuidoeknah te ta? Khohmuen kah Israel he thui pah ham khaw khohnin puh tih mangthui khaw boeih paltham coeng.
“Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in Eretz-Israel, saying, ‘The days are prolonged, and every vision fails’?
23 Te dongah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh a thui he amih taengah thui pah. He thuidoeknah he ka paa sak vetih he he Israel khuiah khaw koep thoel uh mahpawh. Te dongah amih taengah khohnin neh mangthui cungkuem kah ol ha thoeng te thui pah dae.
Tell them therefore, ‘The Lord GOD says: “I will make this proverb to cease, and they will no more use it as a proverb in Israel;”’ but tell them, ‘“The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision.
24 A poeyoek kah mangthui boeih neh olhnal tonghma khaw Israel im khui ah koep om mahpawh.
For there will be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
For I am the LORD. I will speak, and the word that I speak will be performed. It will be no more deferred; for in your days, rebellious house, I will speak the word and will perform it,” says the Lord GOD.’”
26 BOEIPA kah ol tah kai taengah ha pawk tih,
Again the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
27 Hlang capa aw, Israel imkhui, “Anih kah mangthui a hmuh te khohnin la puh tih a tue khohla ham ni a tonghma,’ a ti uh te.
“Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, ‘The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of times that are far off.’
28 Te dongah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh a thui he amih taengah thui pah. Ka ol ka thui boeih te ka ol bangla uelh voel mahpawh. Tedae ka Boeipa Yahovah olphong he thoeng ni,” a ti.
“Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord GOD.’”
