1 Tedae Mosesloh a doo tih, “Kai he n'tangnah uh pawt koinih kai ol he hnatun pawt vetih, 'Nang taengah BOEIPAa phoe moenih,’ a ti uh ni,” a ti nah.
Moses answered, “But, behold, they will not believe me, nor listen to my voice; for they will say, ‘The LORD has not appeared to you.’”
2 Te dongah amah te BOEIPA loh, “Na kut dongkah te balae?” a tinah hatah, “Conghol,” a ti nah.
The LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.”
3 Te phoeiah, “Tete diklai la voei lah,” a tinah tih diklai laa voeih. Te vaengah rhul laa poeh pah dongah Moses khaw a taeng lamloh rhaelrham.
He said, “Throw it on the ground.” He threw it on the ground, and it became a snake; and Moses ran away from it.
4 Tedae BOEIPA loh Moses te, “Na kut yueng lamtah a mai ah tu,” a ti nah. A kuta yueng tangloeng tiha tuuk vaengah tah a kut dongah conghol la poeh.
The LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand, and take it by the tail.” He stretched out his hand, and took hold of it, and it became a rod in his hand.
5 Te dongah a napa rhoek kah Pathen BOEIPA, Abraham Pathen, Isaak Pathen, Jakob Pathen tah nang taengah phoe tilaa tangnah uh bitni.
“This is so that they may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

The LORD said furthermore to him, “Now put your hand inside your cloak.” He put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, as white as snow.
7 Te phoeiah, “Na kutte na rhang ah koep puei lah,” a ti nah. A kutte a rhang aha puei tangloeng tih a rhang lamloha yueh vaengah tah a saa thim la tarhaa om pah.
He said, “Put your hand inside your cloak again.” He put his hand inside his cloak again, and when he took it out of his cloak, behold, it had turned again as his other flesh.
8 Nang te n'tangnah uh pawt akhaw ana om ngawn saeh. Lamhma kah miknoek ol tea yaak pawt ataha pabae kah miknoek ol te tangnah uh saeh.
“It will happen, if they will not believe you or listen to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
9 Tedae miknoek rhoi dongkah he khaw tangnah uh pawt tih na ol tea yaak uh pawt akhaw ana om saeh. Sokko lamkah tuite lo lamtah laiphueite bueih pah. Sokko lamkahna loh tui te poehlip vetih laikoeng dongah thii la poeh ni,” a ti nah.
It will happen, if they will not believe even these two signs or listen to your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it on the dry land. The water which you take out of the river will become blood on the dry land.”
10 Te vaengah Moses loh BOEIPA te, “Aw ka Boeipa, hlaem ah khaw, hlaemvai ah khaw na sal taengah na thui vaeng lamlong mah kai he olka dongah ka hlang voel moenih. Te dongah ka ka tonga tih ka ol khol,” a ti nah.
Moses said to the LORD, “O Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before now, nor since you have spoken to your servant; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.”
11 Tedae BOEIPA loh amah te, “Hlang ham ka aka khueh pah te unim? Olmueh neh hnapang, miktueng neh mikdael aka khuehte unim? BOEIPA kamah moenih a?
The LORD said to him, “Who made man’s mouth? Or who makes one mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Isn’t it I, the LORD?
12 Te dongah cet laeh lamtah nang kah hmuilai dongah kamah ka om vetih na thui ham te kan thuinuet bitni,” a ti nah.
Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall speak.”
13 Tedae, “Aw ka Boeipa, na tueih akhaw kuttoem mah tueih laeh,” a ti nah.
Moses said, “Oh, Lord, please send someone else.”
14 Te vaengah BOEIPA kah thintoekte Moses taengah sai tih, “Na manuca Aronte Levi moenih a? Ka ming ta, thui hamkoi te anihloh a thui ta. Te dongah anih khaw nang doe ham ha lo coeng. Te vaengah nang m'hmuh vetih a lungbuei aha kohoe bitni.
The LORD’s anger burnt against Moses, and he said, “What about Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Also, behold, he is coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.
15 Anih te voek tangloeng lamtah olka he a hmuilai ah khueh pah. Kai he nang kah hmuilai dongah khaw anih kah hmuilai dongah khaw ka om vetihna saii hamte nang kan thuinuet bitni.
You shall speak to him, and put the words in his mouth. I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what you shall do.
16 Te phoeiah anihte pilnam taengah nang yueng la cal saeh lamtah nang kah hmuilai la om rhoe om saeh. Nang ngawn tah anih taengah Pathen banglana om ni.
He will be your spokesman to the people. It will happen that he will be to you a mouth, and you will be to him as God.
17 Tedae he conghol he na kut dongah pom lamtah te nen te miknoek saii,” a ti nah.
You shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs.”
18 Te daengah Moseste cet tih a masae Jether taengla mael. Te phoeiah a masae taengah, “Ka cet pawn saeh lamtah Egypt kah ka manucarhoek taengah ka mael mai eh. Amih kah hingnah khaw ka hmuh pueng khaming,” a ti nah. Te vaengah Jethro loh Moses te, “Sading la cet ne,” a ti nah.
Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, “Please let me go and return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.” Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”

The LORD said to Moses in Midian, “Go, return into Egypt; for all the men who sought your life are dead.”
20 Te dongah Moses loh a yuu neh a carhoek tea loh tih laak dongaha ngol sak. Tedae Egypt kho laa mael vaengah Moses loh Pathen kah conghol ni a kut dongaha pom.
Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them on a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt. Moses took God’s rod in his hand.
21 Te vaengah BOEIPA loh Moses te, “Na caeh vaengah Egypt la mael. Na kut dongah kopoekrhai cungkuem kam paek te tueng. Tete Pharaoh mikhmuh ah saii pah. Tedae kai loh a lungbuei ka moem vetih pilnam te hlah mahpawh.
The LORD said to Moses, “When you go back into Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have put in your hand, but I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go.
22 Tedae Pharaoh te thui pah. BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. Israel tah ka capa neh ka caming ni.
You shall tell Pharaoh, ‘The LORD says, Israel is my son, my firstborn,
23 Te dongah namah taengah khaw ka thui coeng. Ka ca te tueih lamtah kai ham thothueng saeh. Tedae anih hlah hamna aal atah kai loh na capa khuikah na caming te ka ngawn ne,” a ti.
and I have said to you, “Let my son go, that he may serve me;” and you have refused to let him go. Behold, I will kill your firstborn son.’”
24 Longpuei kah rhaehim aha om vaengah anihte BOEIPA neh hum uh tih ngawn la cai.
On the way at a lodging place, the LORD met Moses and wanted to kill him.
25 Te vaengah Zipporah loh hmailunga loh tih a capa kah hmuicue tea hlueng pah. Te phoeiah a kho aha net tih, “Nang tah kai ham thii dongkah yulokung ni,” a ti nah.
Then Zipporah took a flint, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet; and she said, “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me.”
26 Te daengah BOEIPA te Moses taeng lamloh nong. Te vaengah hmuicuerhetnah te ni thii dongkah yulokunglaa thui.
So he let him alone. Then she said, “You are a bridegroom of blood,” because of the circumcision.
27 Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Aron taengah, “Khosoek la cet lamtah Moseste doe laeh,” a ti nah. A caeh tangloeng vaengah tah amah neh Pathen kah tlang ah hum uh tiha mok.
The LORD said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” He went, and met him on God’s mountain, and kissed him.
28 Te phoeiah Moses loh amah tueih tih miknoek cungkuem neh amaha uen bangla BOEIPA ol boeih boeih te Aaron hma te a thui pah.
Moses told Aaron all the LORD’s words with which he had sent him, and all the signs with which he had instructed him.
29 Moses neh Aaronte cet tih Israel caa ham boeih tea coi rhoi.
Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel.
30 Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh Moses taengkaha thui ol boeih te Aaronloh a thui pah tih pilnam mikhmuh ah miknoek khaw a tueng sak.
Aaron spoke all the words which the LORD had spoken to Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.
31 Pilnamloh a tangnah vaengah tah BOEIPA loh Israel caa hip tih, amih kah phacipphabaema hmuh pah te khaw a yaak uh dongah buluk uh tiha bawk uh.
The people believed, and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had seen their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.
