1 Te dongah BOEIPA na Pathen te lungnah lamtah a kueknah khaw, a khosing neh a laitloeknah khaw, a olpaek khaw hnin takuemah ngaithuen.

So have love for the Lord your God, and give him worship, and keep his laws and his decisions and his orders at all times.

2 Na ca rhoek loh a ming pawt te khaw tihninah minglaeh. BOEIPA na Pathen kah thuituennah, a boeilennah tlungluen kut neh a ban a phuel te khaw,

And be certain in your minds this day; for these words are not said to your children, who have had no experience of the training of the Lord your God, and who have not seen his great power or his strong hand and his stretched-out arm,

3 Egypt khui kah Egypt manghai Pharaoh neh kho tom ah a saii miknoek neh a bibi khaw,

Or his signs and wonders which he did in Egypt, to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and all his land;

4 Egypt caem khaw, a marhang neh a leng a saii pah te khaw, nangmih hnuk han hloem vaengah carhaek li kah tuiloh a mikhmuh ah a et tih BOEIPAloh tihnin duela a milh sak he khaw,

And what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and their war-carriages; how he made the waters of the Red Sea come up over them when they went after you, and how the Lord put an end to them even to this day;

5 Khosoek lamkah he hmuen na pha duela nangmih ham a saii te khaw,

And what he did for you in the waste land, till you came to this place;

6 Reuben koca khuikah Eliab ca rhoi Dathan neh Abiram ham a saii vaengah diklailoh a ka a ang tih amah rhoi neh a imkhui, a dap neh Israel kotak boeih lamkah a kho dongah mulhing boeih a dolh te khaw amihloh hmuuh pawt tih a ming uh pai moenih.

And what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben; when they went down into the open mouth of the earth, with their families and their tents and every living thing which was theirs, before the eyes of all Israel:

7 Tedae BOEIPA kah bibi a len la a saii boeih te na mik neh naka hmu nang tah,

But your eyes have seen all the great works of the Lord which he has done.

8 tihninah kailoh nang kang uen olpaek boeih he ngaithuen. Te daengah ni na pang ham khohmuenaka paan nang long kawh thahlue la na pha vetihna pang eh.

So keep all the orders which I give you today, so that you may be strong, and go in and take the land which is to be your heritage;

9 Te daengahni BOEIPAloh na parhoek neh amih kah tiingan taengah paek ham a caeng tangtae khohmuen, suktui neh khoituiaka long khohmuen ahna hinglung a vang eh.

And that your days may be long in the land which the Lord gave by an oath to your fathers and to their seed after them, a land flowing with milk and honey.

10 Khohmuen te pang hamla pahoi na kun coeng. Te tah ke lamkahna lo nah Egypt khohmuen bang moenih. Te ah tah na cangti tena tuhuh tih an dum bangla na kho nehna suep dae ta.

For the land where you are going is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you put in your seeds, watering them with your foot, like a planted garden:

11 Tedae na paan phai tih na pang ham khohmuen long tah tlang neh kolbawn khohmuen la om tih vaan kah khotlan tui ni a ok.

But the land where you are going is a land of hills and valleys, drinking in the rain of heaven:

12 Tekah khohmuen tah BOEIPA na Pathenloha khuttih kum a tong lamloh khohmai kum duela BOEIPA na Pathen mik loh a dan taitu.

A land cared for by the Lord your God: the eyes of the Lord your God are on it at all times from one end of the year to the other.

13 Tihninah kailoh nang kang uen ka olpaek hena ngai rhoe la na ngai atah BOEIPA na Pathenna lungnah vetih na thinko boeih, na hinglu boeih neh amah taengah tho na thueng ham om.

And it will be that if you truly give ear to the orders which I put before you this day, loving the Lord your God and worshipping him with all your heart and all your soul,

14 Amah tue vaengah rhotui neh tlankholte na khohmuen kah khotlan la kam paek vetih na cangpai, na misur thai neh na situi khaw na khoem van ni.

Then I will send rain on your land at the right time, the early rains and the late rains, so that you may get in your grain and your wine and your oil.

15 Na rhamsa ham khaw na khohmuen kah baelhing kam paek vaengahna caak vetihna hah bal bitni.

And I will give grass in your fields for your cattle, so that you may have food in full measure.

16 Namamih mah ngaithuenuh. Na thinko han hloih tihna taengphael koinih pathen tloe taengah tho na thueng vetih amih taengahna bakop tarha ve.

But take care that your hearts are not turned to false ways so that you become servants and worshippers of other gods;

17 BOEIPA kah thintoekloh nang taengah ha sai vetih vaan ke hang khaih ni. Khotlan om pawt tih diklailoh a cangthaih m'pae pawt vaengah ngawn tah BOEIPAloh nang m'paek khohmuen then lamloh pahoina milh uh ni.

For if you do so, the wrath of the Lord will be burning against you, and the heaven will be shut up so that there is no rain and the land will give no fruit; and in a very little time you will be cut off from the good land which the Lord is giving you.

18 Ka olthui he na thinko neh na hinglu dongah dueh lah. Na kut dongah miknoek bangla hlin lamtah na mik lakloah samtoelrhui la om saeh.

So keep these words deep in your heart and in your soul, and have them fixed on your hand for a sign and marked on your brow;

19 Na carhoek te tukkil lamtah na im kah na ngol vaengah khaw, longpueng kah na caeh vaengah khaw, na yalh tih na thoh vaengah khaw thuipah.

Teaching them to your children, and talking of them when you are at rest in your house or walking by the way, when you go to sleep and when you get up:

20 Na im kah rhungsut neh na vongka dongah khaw daek lah.

Writing them on the pillars of your houses and over the doors of your towns:

21 Te daengahni na parhoek taengah paek hamla BOEIPAloha caeng khohmuen ah khaw namah kah hinglung neh na ca rhoek kah a hinglungloha vang vetih vaan hinglung bangla diklai ah khaw a om eh.

So that your days, and the days of your children, may be long in the land which the Lord by his oath to your fathers said he would give them, like the days of the eternal heavens.

22 BOEIPA na Pathenna lungnah ham neh a longpuei cungkuem dongahna pongpa tih amah taengahna hangdang ham atah kai loh kang uen olpaek he boeih na vai thai hamlana ngaithuen rhoe na ngaithuen ham om.

For if you take care to keep all the orders which I give you, and to do them; loving the Lord your God and walking in all his ways and being true to him:

23 Te daengahni namtomrhoek boeih te BOEIPAloh na mikhmuh lamkah a haek vetih nangmih lakahaka len tihaka tlung namtom te na huul uh eh.

Then the Lord will send these nations in flight before you, and you will take the lands of nations greater and stronger than yourselves.

24 Na khophaloha cawt hmuen boeih tah khosoek lamloh Lebanon duela nangmih ham om vetih, na khorhiloh tuiva lamkah Perath tuiva neh tuitun khaepdan due om ni.

Every place where you put your foot will be yours: from the waste land and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates as far as the Great Sea, will be the limits of your land.

25 Hlang pakhat khaw nangmih hmai ah pai thai mahpawh. Nangmih taengah a thui vanbangla diklai hman boeih ah melana pawk uh cakhaw nangmih kah birhihnah neh nangmih kah mueipuelnahni BOEIPA na Pathen loh hang khueh eh.

All people will give way before you: for the Lord your God will put the fear of you on all the land through which you go, as he has said.

26 So lah, tihnin kah yoethennah neh rhunkhuennah he nangmih mikhmuh ah kai loh kan tloengcoeng.

Today I put before you a blessing and a curse:

27 Tihninah kailoh nangmih kang uen bangla BOEIPA na Pathen kah olpaek tena ngai atah yoethennah la om ni.

The blessing if you give ear to the orders of the Lord your God, which I give you this day:

28 BOEIPA na Pathen kah olpaek te na yaakuh mueh la tihninah kailoh nangmih kang uen longpuei lamkahna nong uh tih ming pawt pathen tloekaha hnuk tena vaiuh atah rhunkhuennah la om ni.

And the curse if you do not give ear to the orders of the Lord your God, but let yourselves be turned from the way which I have put before you this day, and go after other gods which are not yours.

29 BOEIPA na Pathenloh khohmuen la n'khuen tih, pang hamla na kun vaengah yoethennah te Gerizim tlang ah, rhunkhuennah te Ebal tlang ahna khuehuh.

And when the Lord your God has taken you into the land of your heritage, you are to put the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal.

30 Te rhoi tah Gilgal imdan kolken kah Moreh thingnu kaepah kho aka sa Kanaan khohmuen, Kho tlak longpuei kah Jordan rhalvangan kah moenih a?

Are they not on the other side of Jordan, looking west, in the land of the Canaanites living in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, by the holy tree of Moreh?

31 BOEIPA na Pathenloh nangmih ham a khueh khohmuen te kun thil tih pang hamla Jordanaka kat nangmih long tah khohmuen te huuluh lamtah khosak thil uh ngawn.

For you are about to go over Jordan to take the heritage which the Lord your God is giving you, and it will be your resting-place.

32 Tedae tihninah nangmih mikhmuh kah ka tloeng oltlueh neh laitloeknah he boeih vai ham mah ngaithuenuh.

And you are to take care to keep all the laws and the decisions which I put before you today.
