Daniel 9
1 Khalden ram ah aka manghai Madai tiingan lamkah Ahasuerus capa Darius kah kum khat dongah om coeng.
In year one of Darius [the] son of Ahasuerus one of [the] descendant[s] of Media who he had been made king over [the] kingdom of [the] Chaldeans.
2 Kum sawmrhih vaengah Jerusalem imrhong la a om ham BOEIPA loh tonghma Jeremiah taengah ol a paek bangla kum kah a tarhing tah a manghai nah kum khat vaengah kai Daniel loh cabu rhangneh ka yakming.
In year one of reigning his I Daniel I observed in the scrolls [the] number of the years which it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah the prophet to complete to [the] ruins of Jerusalem seventy year[s].
3 Te dongah Pathen tlap hamla thangthuinah, huithuinah, yaehnah, tlamhni, hmaiphu neh ka Boeipa taengla ka maelhmai te ka hoi.
And I set! face my to [the] Lord God to seek prayer and supplications with fasting and sackcloth and ash[es].
4 Ka Pathen BOEIPA taengah ka thangthui neh ka phoe tih, “Ka Boeipa aw Pathen tah boeilen tih a rhih om pai. Paipi te a ngaithuen dongah amah aka lungnah taeng neh a olpaek aka ngaithuen taengah sitlohnah a khueh.
And I prayed! to Yahweh God my and I confessed and I said! I beg you O Lord God great and awesome [who] keeps the covenant and covenant loyalty to [those who] love him and to [those who] keep commandments his.
5 Ka tholh uh tih ka paihaeh uh dongah ka boe rhoe ka boe uh coeng. Kan tloelh uh tih na olpaek lamkah neh na laitloeknah lamloh ka nong uh coeng.
We have sinned and we have committed iniquity (we have acted wickedly *Q(K)*) and we have rebelled and we have turned aside from commandments your and from judgments your.
6 Namah sal tonghma ol te ka hnatun uh moenih. Te rhoek loh namah ming neh ka manghai rhoek, ka mangpa, a pa rhoek taengah khaw khohmuen pilnam boeih taengah khaw a thui uh coeng.
And not we have listened to servants your the prophets who they spoke in name your to kings our leaders our and ancestors our and to all [the] people of the land.
7 Duengnah he ka Boeipa nang kah ni. Tedae tihnin kah bangla maelhmai yahpohnah he kaimih taengah khaw, Judah hlang taengah khaw, Jerusalem khosa rhoek taengah khaw, Israel boeih taengah khaw, diklai pum kah a yoei a hla taengah om coeng. Amamih kah boekoeknah dongah nang taengah boe a koek vangbangla teah amih pahoi na heh coeng.
[belongs] to You O Lord righteousness and [belongs] to us [the] shame of the faces as the day this to everyone of Judah and to [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem and to all Israel near and far in all the lands where you have banished them there in unfaithfulness their which they acted unfaithfully against you.
8 BOEIPA aw namah taengah ka tholh uh dongah kaimih ham tah maelhmai kah yahpohnah he ka manghai rhoek taeng neh ka mangpa rhoek taengah khaw, a pa rhoek taengah khaw om.
O Yahweh [belongs] to us [the] shame of the faces to kings our to leaders our and to ancestors our that we have sinned to you.
9 Amah te ka tloelh lalah khaw ka Boeipa tah kaimih ham haidamnah neh khodawkngainah Pathen la om.
[belong] to [the] Lord God our compassion and forgiveness for we have rebelled against him.
10 A sal tonghma rhoek kut lamloh kaimih mikhmuh ah m'paek a olkhueng dongah pongpa ham kaimih kah Pathen BOEIPA ol te ka hnatun uh moenih.
And not we have listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God our to walk in laws his which he set before us by [the] hand of servants his the prophets.
11 Israel pum long khaw na olkhueng te a poe uh tih a taengphael dongah na ol te hnatun uh pawh. A taengah ka tholh uh dongah ni Pathen kah Sal Moses olkhueng khuiah a daek bangla thaephoeinah neh olhlo te kaimih soah nan hawk.
And all Israel they have transgressed law your and they have turned aside to not to listen to voice your and it has poured forth on us the curse and the oath which [was] written in [the] law of Moses [the] servant of God for we have sinned to him.
12 Te phoeiah a ol tah a ol bangla a thoh coeng. Te te kaimih taeng neh kaimih kah laitloek rhoek taengah a thui coeng. Kaimih sokah lai aka tloek loh kaimih soah yoethae a len hang khuen. Te dongah Jerusalem kah a saii bang te vaan boeih kah a hmuiah a saii noek moenih.
And he has carried out (word his *Q(K)*) which he spoke on us and on judges our who they judged us by bringing on us a calamity great which not it has been done under all the heavens just as it has been done on Jerusalem.
13 Moses kah olkhueng dongah a daek bangla yoethae cungkuem he kaimih soah pai coeng. Tedae kaimih kah thaesainah lamloh mael ham neh na oltak dongah cangbam ham kaimih kah Pathen BOEIPA mikhmuh ah ka kothae uh pawh.
Just as [it is] written in [the] law of Moses all the calamity this it has come on us and not we have entreated [the] face of - Yahweh God our by turning away from iniquity our and by giving attention to faithfulness your.
14 BOEIPA loh yoethae kawng dongah hak tih te te kaimih soah a pai sak. Ka Pathen BOEIPA loh a bibi boeih dongah a dueng la a saii dae a ol te ka hnatun uh moenih.
And he kept watch Yahweh over the calamity and he brought it on us for [has been] righteous Yahweh God our on all deeds his which he has done and not we listened to voice his.
15 Ka Boeipa neh kaimih kah Pathen aw, na pilnam te Egypt khohmuen lamloh tlungluen kut neh na khuen. Tahae khohnin kah bangla namah ming ham na saii dongah ka tholh uh tih ka boe uh coeng.
And now - O Lord God our who you brought out people your from [the] land of Egypt by a hand strong and you made for yourself a name as the day this we have sinned we have acted wickedly.
16 Ka Boeipa aw, na duengnah loh a cungkuem bangla na thintoek neh na kosi te na tlang cim neh na khopuei Jerusalem lamloh mael laeh saeh. Kaimih kah tholhnah dong neh a pa rhoek kah thaesainah dongah ni Jerusalem neh na pilnam ka kaepvai boeih taengah kokhahnah la a om.
O Lord according to all righteousness your may it turn back please anger your and rage your from city your Jerusalem [the] mountain of holiness your for by sins our and by [the] iniquities of ancestors our Jerusalem and people your [have become] a reproach to all around us.
17 Kaimih kah Pathen aw na sal kah thangthuinah neh a huithuinah he hnatun laeh. Na rhokso dingrhak soah khaw ka Boeipa hamla na maelhmai sae sak.
And therefore - listen O God our to [the] prayer of servant your and to supplications his and make shine face your on sanctuary your desolate for [the] sake of [the] Lord.
18 Ka Pathen aw na hna te kaeng lamtah han ya lah, na mik te dai rhoe dai lamtah kaimih neh khopuei a pong he hmu lah. Te te na ming la a khue dae ta. Na mikhmuh ah ka huithuinah kan tloeng he kaimih kah duengnah dongah pawt tih na haidamnah a yet dongah ni.
Incline O God my - ear your and listen (open *Q(K)*) eyes your and see desolate [things] our and the city which it is called name your on it for - not on righteousness our we [are] making fall supplications our before you for on compassion your great.
19 Ka Boeipa hnatun dae, ka Boeipa khodawkngai dae, ka Boeipa hnatung dae. Ka Pathen namah ham uelh mueh la saii laeh. Na ming he na khopuei ham neh na pilnam ham ni a khue.
O Lord - hear! O Lord - forgive! O Lord be attentive! and act may not you delay for own sake your O God my for name your it is called on city your and on people your.
20 Ka thui li vaengah ka thangthui neh, ka tholhnah khaw, ka pilnam Israel kah tholhnah khaw ka phoe. Te phoeiah ka Pathen kah hmuencim tlang ham ka Pathen BOEIPA mikhmuh ah ka lungmacil loh koep.
And still I [was] speaking and [was] praying and [was] confessing sin my and [the] sin of people my Israel and [was] making fall supplication my before Yahweh God my on [the] mountain of [the] holiness of God my.
21 Thangthuinah neh ka thui li vaengah Gabriel hlang te lamhma kah mangthui neh ka hmuh. Anih te ding la ha ding tih hlaem kah khocang tue vaengah kai taengah ha pai.
And still I [was] speaking in prayer and the man Gabriel whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning wearied with weariness [was] approaching me about [the] time of [the] offering of [the] evening.
22 A thuicaih tih kamah m'voek vaengah, “Daniel nang te yakmingnah neh cangbam ham ka lo coeng.
And he gave understanding and he spoke with me and he said O Daniel now I have come forth to give insight you understanding.
23 Na huithuinah a moe vaengah ol ha pai. Te dongah nang kah sanaep te thui hamla ka lo. Te dongah ol te yakming lamtah a hmuethma te khaw yakming laeh.
At [the] beginning of supplications your it went forth a word and I I have come to declare for [are] precious you and understand the word and understand the vision.
24 Na pilnam ham neh na hmuencim khopuei ham a yalh sawmrhih tloek pah. A boekoeknah bawt sak ham neh catui hnah ham khaw, tholhnah boirhaem cing sak ham neh thaesainah te dawth pah ham khaw, kumhal duengnah khuen ham neh mangthui te catui hnah ham khaw, tonghma neh hmuencim kah hmuencim koelh ham khaw om coeng.
Sevens seventy it has been decreed on people your - and on [the] city of holiness your to put an end to the transgression (and to complete sin *Q(K)*) and to atone for iniquity and to bring righteousness of perpetuity and to seal up vision and prophet and to anoint a holy place of holy places.
25 Te dongah ming lamtah Jerusalem thoh ham neh sak hamla ol aka thoeng te cangbam laeh. A koelh rhaengsang hil yalh rhih neh yalh sawmrhuk panit khuiah toltung neh imhlai khaw a thoh vetih a sak suidae khobing tue la om ni.
So you may know and you will understand from [the] going forth of [the] word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until an anointed [one] a prince sevens seven and sevens sixty and two it will return and it will be built an open place and a moat and in [the] distress of the times.
26 Yalh sawmrhuk panit hnuk lamtah a koelh te a hnawt vetih anih te om voel mahpawh. Pilnam rhaengsang aka pai loh khopuei neh hmuencim te a phae ni. Anih bawtnah tah lungpook bangla caemtloek a bawt hil cu tih pong.
And after the sevens sixty and two he will be cut off an anointed [one] and nothing [will belong] to him and the city and the sanctuary it will destroy [the] people of a prince who is coming and end his [will be] by flood and [will be] until [the] end war [are] determined desolate [things].
27 Paipi te a yet neh yalh khat a len sak ni. Tedae yalh rhakthuem vaengah hmueih neh khocang a paa sak ni. Te vaengah a phae dongkah sarhingkoi te a boeinah hil a pong sak. Te phoeiah a tloek bangla aka pong soah a hawk
And he will make strong a covenant to the many [people] seven one and [the] middle of the seven he will cause to cease - sacrifice and offering and on a wing of abomination desolating and until complete destruction and [what] has been decided it will be poured forth on [one who] is desolate.
