1 Pathen kah kongaih dongah Jesuh Khrih kah caeltueih Paul neh manuca Timothy loh,
Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, and Timothy, the brother,
2 Kolosa kah hlangcimrhoek neh Khrih ah uepom manuca rhoek te kan yaak sak. Nangmih taengah a pa Pathen taengkah lungvatnah neh ngaimongnah om saeh.
to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ, who are at Colosse: Favor to you, and peace from God our Father.
3 Nangmih ham ka thangthui uh taitutih mamih Boeipa Jesuh Khrih kaha napa Pathen te ng'uem uh.
We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ always, when we pray for you;
4 Jesuh Khrih ah nangmih kah tangnah neh hlangcimrhoek boeih taengah lungnahna khueh uh ka yaak te,
having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which you have to all the saints--
5 vaan ah nangmih ham a tung ngaiuepnah rhangnen ni. Te tah nangmih taengla aka lo olthangthen kah oltak olka dongahna yaak uh coeng.
for the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you have formerly heard in the word of truth of the gospel,
6 Diklai pum ah khaw thaihtak la om tiha rhoeng vanbangla Pathen lungvatnah oltak lana yaak uh tihna ming uh khohnin vaeng lamloh nangmih khuiah khaw om van coeng.
which is present among you, as it is also in the world, and is bringing forth fruit and prevailing, even as among you, from that day you heard and knew the favor of God in truth--
7 Hetah mamih kah sal puei neh thintlo Epaphras lamkahna yaak uh. Anih he nangmih ham Khrih kah uepom tueihyoeih ni.
even as you learned it of Epaphras, our beloved fellow-servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ,
8 Amah loh nangmih kah lungnah, Mueihla dongkah te khaw mamih taengah a thuicaih.
who has also declared to us your love in spirit.
9 Te dongah kaimih khaw ka yaak uh khohnin lamkah te nangmih ham thangthui tih ka bih te ka toeng uh pawh. Te daengah ni cueihnah cungkuem neh mueihlaah yakmingnah dongah a kongaih mingnah tena cung uh eh.
For this reason, we also, from the day we heard these things, do not cease to pray for you, and to request that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding--
10 A cungkuem dongah Boeipa kah kolo neh a tingtawk la pongpa sak ham, a cungkuem dongah bibi then neh thaihtak uh tih Pathen kah mingnah dongah rhoeng sak ham,
that you may walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing, bringing forth fruit by every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Amah thangpomnah dongkah thaomnah vanbangla uehnah neh thinsennah cungkuem dongla thaomnah boeih neh thaphoh sak ham ni.
being strengthened with all strength, according to his glorious power, to all patience and long-suffering with joy:
12 Vangnah dongah hlangcimrhoek kah hmulung dongkah buham la nangmih aka saiia pa te omngaihnah neh uem uh.
giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us for a portion of the inheritance of the saints in the light;
13 Amah loh yinnah kah saithainah lamloh mamih n'hlawt tih a lungnaha Capa kah ram la m'puen sak coeng.
who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his beloved Son:
14 Amah dongah tholh khodawkngainah, tlannah te n'dang uh.
by whom we have redemption, even the remission of sins.
15 Anih tah hmuhmueh Pathen kah mueimae, suentae boeih kah camingomthang ni.
He is the image of the invisible God, the first born of the whole creation.
16 Amah lamloh vaan neh diklai hmankah hmuhthai neh hmuhmueh boeih tea suen. Ngolkhoel khaw, taemrhainah khaw, boeilurhoek khaw, saithainah khawa cungkuem te amah loh amah hama suen.
Because, by him were created all things which are in the heavens, and which are upon the earth; things visible, and things invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or governments, or powers; all things were created by him and for him.
17 Anih tah a cungkuemaom hlanah om tih cungkuem tah anih lamloh poe.
And he is before all things; and by him all things consist.
18 Anih tah hlangboel pum kaha lu la om. Anih tah a tongnah neh duekkhui lamloh camingomthang la om. Te daengah ni cungkuem dongah om vetih amah khaw a lamhma pai eh.
And he is the head of the body, even the congregation. He is the beginning, the first born from the dead, that in all respects he might be pre-eminent.
19 Anih dongaha soepnah te boeih om sak ham neh anih rhangneha cungkuem te amah taengah moeithen ham a lungtlun.
For it pleased the Father that all fullness should dwell in him;
20 A thinglam dongkah thii rhangneh amah loh diklai dongkah neh vaan kah te khawa moeithen.
and by him to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace by the blood of his cross; I say, by him, whether they be things on the earth, or things in the heavens.
21 Hnukbuetah nangmih te n'hai tih khoboe thae lamloh kopoekah rhal la om.
Even you, who were formerly alienated in mind, and enemies by wicked works,
22 Tedae nangmihte amah hmaiah hlangcim, cuemthuek neh cimbit la pai sak ham dueknah rhangneh a pumsa kah pum dongaha moeithen coeng.
he has now, indeed, reconciled, by the body of his flesh, to present you holy and unblamable, and unreprovable, in his sight;
23 Na oei tangnah te khakna sut van atahna yaak uh olthangthen kah ngaiuepnah lamloh nongcen uh boeh. Vaan hmuikah suentae boeih taengaha hoe coeng tih kai Paul tah a tueihyoeih la ka om.
if, indeed, you continue in the faith founded and stable, and not removed from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature which is under heaven; of which I, Paul, am made a minister.
24 Nangmih yueng la patangnah neh ka omngaih coeng. Amah pum yueng la ka pumsa dongah Khrih kah phacip phabaem lamloh vawtthoeknah te ka koei. Hlangboel tah amah pum ni.
I now rejoice in sufferings for you, and fill up the remainder of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh, for his body, which is the congregation;
25 Kai tah te olthangthen kah tueihyoeih la ka omtih Pathen kah hnokhoemnah vanbangla Pathen kah olka te nangmih taengah tomthap ham kai m'paek coeng.
of which I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God, which was given to me on your account, fully to declare the word of God--
26 Olhuep te khosuen lamkah neh suentae lamkaha thuh coeng dae tahae atah a hlangcimrhoek hama phoe pah. (aiōn g165)
the secret which had been kept hid from the ages, and from the generations, but now has been made manifest to his saints; (aiōn g165)
27 Pathen loh he namtom taengah olhuep kah thangpomnah khuehtawn te phoe ham a ngaih. Te thangpomnah dongkah ngaiuepnah tah nangmih khuiah aka om Khrih ni.
to whom God has pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this secret among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Hlang tom aka rhalrhing sak tih cueihnah cungkuem neh hlang tom aka thuituen mamih loh amah kawng ni n'doek uh. Te daengah ni hlang boeih he Khrih ah lungcuei la m'pai sak eh.
whom we announce, admonishing every man, and teaching every man, with all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ.
29 Te ham khaw a bibi tarhingah thakthae neh ka thingthuel dae ka khuiah thaomnah neh ha tueng.
For which I also labor, combating vigorously, according to the effectual working of him who works effectually in me with power.
