1 Te vaengah Saul tah Boeipa kah hnukbang rhoek te hihhamnah neh ngawnnah dongah phit pueng.
And Saul, as yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,
2 Te dongah khosoihham te a paan tih Damasku la, tunim la, longpuei kah a hmuh sarhui, huta khaw tongpa khaw a om atah khih pahoi tih, Jerusalem la thak ham te capat a bih,
And asked of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues: that if he found any men and women of this way, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
3 Te phoeiah cet tih Damasku a pha tom vaengah Vaan lamkah vangnah loh anih te buengrhuet a tue,
And as he went on his journey, it came to pass that he drew nigh to Damascus; and suddenly a light from heaven shined round about him.
4 Te vaengah diklai dongla bung tih ol pakhat a yaak tah, “Saul, Saul, balae tih kai nan hnaemtaek?” a ti nah.
And falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 Te dongah, “Nang te ulae Boeipa,” a ti nah hatah, “Kai tah nang loh na hnaemtaek Jesuh ni.
Who said: Who art thou, Lord? And he: I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. It is hard for thee to kick against the goad.
6 Tedae thoo lamtah kho khuila kun laeh. Na saii hamla a kuek te namah taengah han thui bitni,” a ti nah.
And he trembling and astonished, said: Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?
7 Te vaengah anih neh aka yiin hmaih hlang rhoek loh tangawk la pai uh. Ol tah a yaak uh dae a muei tah hmu uh pawh,
And the Lord said to him: Arise, and go into the city, and there it shall be told thee what thou must do. Now the men who went in company with him, stood amazed, hearing indeed a voice, but seeing no man.
8 Saul loh diklai lamkah a thoh hang vaengah a mik a dai hatah ba khaw hmu pawh.
And Saul arose from the ground; and when his eyes were opened, he saw nothing. But they leading him by the hands, brought him to Damascus.
9 Te dongah anih te a mawt uh tih Damasku la a khuen uh. Te vaengah hmu voel pawt tih a caak a ok mueh la hnin thum om,
And he was there three days, without sight, and he did neither eat nor drink.
10 Te vaengah hnukbang pakhat, a ming ah Ananias te Damasku ah om, Anih te Boeipa loh mangthui neh, “Ananias,” a ti nah. Te dongah, “Boeipa ka om he,” a ti nah.
Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias. And the Lord said to him in a vision: Ananias. And he said: Behold I am here, Lord.
11 Te phoeiah Boeipa loh anih te, “Thoo, imhlai laklo ah a dueng la a khue te paan lamtah, Tarsus hoel, a ming ah Sual te Judas im ah tlap, Anih te thangthui la ko te.
And the Lord said to him: Arise, and go into the street that is called Stait, and seek in the house of Judas, one named Saul of Tarsus. For behold he prayeth.

(And he saw a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hands upon him, that he might receive his sight.)
13 Te dongah Ananias loh, “Boeipa, tekah hlang kawng te hlang taeng lamloh boeih ka yaak coeng. Jerusalem ah na hlangcim taengah a saii te khaw bahoeng thae aih coeng.
But Ananias answered: Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints in Jerusalem.
14 He ah khaw na ming aka khue rhoek boeih te khih hamla khosoihham rhoek taengkah saithainah a khueh,” a ti nah.
And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that invoke thy name.
15 Tedae Boeipa loh anih te, “Cet ngawn, anih tah Israel ca rhoek kah manghai rhoek neh namtom rhoek hmaiah ka ming aka phuei la kamah ham a tuek conghol paitaeh la om coeng.
And the Lord said to him: Go thy way; for this man is to me a vessel of election, to carry my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.
16 Ka ming kongah aka patang ham anih bahoeng a kuek te amah taengah kamah loh ka tueng bitni,” a ti nah.
For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
17 Te daengah Ananias loh cet tih im khuila kun, Te phoeiah anih te kut a tloeng thil tih, “Ka manuca Saul, na lo phai vaengkah longpuei ah nang taengla aka phoe Boeipa Jesuh loh kho na hmuh tih mueihla cim baetawt sak ham kai n'tueih coeng,” a ti nah.
And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house. And laying his hands upon him, he said: Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus hath sent me, he that appeared to thee in the way as thou camest; that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

And immediately there fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received his sight; and rising up, he was baptized.
19 Te phoeiah cak ok a doe tih a thaa koep sai, Te vaengah Damasku kah hnukbang rhoek taengah khohnin a yol om.
And when he had taken meat, he was strengthened. And he was with the disciples that were at Damascus, for some days.
20 Te phoeiah Jesuh tah Pathen capa ni tila tunim ah pahoi a hoe.
And immediately he preached Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
21 Aka hnatun rhoek boeih loh limlum uh tih, “Jerusalem ah Boeipa ming aka phoei rhoek aka thup te anih nim, anih pawt nim. Amih te pin vetih khosoihham rhoek taengah aka thak ham ni he la ha pawk dae,” a ti uh.
And all that heard him, were astonished, and said: Is not this he who persecuted in Jerusalem those that called upon this name: and came hither for that intent, that he might carry them bound to the chief priests?
22 Tedae Saul tah lat thaphoh uh tih Damasku kah Judah khosa rhoek te a huek, Te tah Khrih ni tila a cui sak.
But Saul increased much more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt at Damascus, affirming that this is the Christ.
23 Tedae khohnin muep a di vaengah tah anih te ngawn ham Judah rhoek loh a taeng uh.
And when many days were passed, the Jews consulted together to kill him.
24 Amih kah mangtaengnah te Saul loh a ming. Te vaengah anih ngawn hamla khoyin neh khothaih ah khaw vongka te a tawt uh.
But their laying in wait was made known to Saul. And they watched the gates also day and night, that they might kill him.
25 Tedae a hnukbang rhoek loh khoyin ah a khuen uh tih voh khuiah a sang uh phoeiah pangbueng longah a colh uh.
But the disciples taking him in the night, conveyed him away by the wall, letting him down in a basket.
26 Jerusalem la a pawk vaengah hnukbang rhoek taengah kap ham a noemcai hatah anih te boeih a rhih uh. Hnukbang ni tila tangnah uh pawh.
And when he was come into Jerusalem, he essayed to join himself to the disciples; and they all were afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
27 Tedae Barnabas long tah anih te a sambai tih caeltueih rhoek taengla a khuen. Te phoeiah longpuei ah Boeipa a hmuh tih anih a voek te khaw, Damasku ah Jesuh ming dongah a sayalh te khaw, “amih taengah a thui pah.
But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and told them how he had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken to him; and how in Damascus he had dealt confidently in the name of Jesus.
28 Te dongah Jerusalem kah a voei a bal rhuet ah amih tengah om tih Boeipa ming neh sayalh la a thui.
And he was with them coming in and going out in Jerusalem, and dealing confidently in the name of the Lord.
29 Tedae a thui vaengah Hellenist rhoek neh oelh uh thae tih anih te ngawn ham cai uh.
He spoke also to the Gentiles, and disputed with the Greeks; but they sought to kill him.
30 A manuca rhoek loh a ming dongah anih te Kaiserea la a khuen uh tih Tarsus la a tueih uh.
Which when the brethren had known, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him away to Tarsus.
31 Te vaengah Judea, Galilee neh Samaria pum boeih kah hlangboel long khaw ngaimongnah a dang. Boeipa rhihnah neh hlinsai uh tih pongpa uh. Te dongah Cim Mueihla kah thaphohnah neh pinguh uh.
Now the church had peace throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria; and was edified, walking in the fear of the Lord, and was filled with the consolation of the Holy Ghost.
32 Peter khaw khotom rhali aka hil la om tih Lydda kah khosa hlangcim rhoek taeng khaw a pha,
And it came to pass that Peter, as he passed through, visiting all, came to the saints who dwelt at Lydda.
33 Te vaengah aka khawn tih, phakdoeng dongah kum rhet aka yalh, hlang pakhat, a ming ah Aeneas te a hmuh,
And he found there a certain man named Eneas, who had kept his bed for eight years, who was ill of the palsy.
34 Peter loh, “Aeneas, Jesuh Khrih loh nang n'hoeih sak coeng. Thoo lamtah namah te khoem uh laeh,” a ti nah vaengah hlat thoo,
And Peter said to him: Eneas, the Lord Jesus Christ healeth thee: arise, and make thy bed. And immediately he arose.
35 Lydda neh Sharon kah khosa rhoek boeih loh anih te a hmuh uh vaengah Boeipa taengla bal uh.
And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron, saw him: who were converted to the Lord.
36 Joppa ah khaw hnukbang pakhat, a ming ah Tabitha te om van. Te te Dorkas a ti tih a thuicaih. Anih tah khoboe then neh a soep la om tih doedannah khaw a saii.
And in Joppe there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
37 Tedae a khohnin a pha vaengah tah anih te tlo tih duek. Te dongah anih te tui a hluk uh tih imhman ah a khueh uh.
And it came to pass in those days that she was sick, and died. Whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.
38 Lydda neh Joppa he tah rhep a om dongah hnukbang rhoek loh Peter a om te a yaak uh. Te dongah hlang panit te a tueih uh tih, “Uelh mueh la kaimih taengah hang hil dae, “tila a tah uh.
And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppe, the disciples hearing that Peter was there, sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not be slack to come unto them.
39 Te dongah Peter te thoo tih amih te a puei, Anih a pha vaengah imhman la ana khuen uh. Anih a pai vanneh nuhmai rhoek loh boeih rhap uh tih Dorkas loh amih taengkah om vaengkah a saii angki neh himbai boeih te a tueng uh.
And Peter rising up, went with them. And when he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber. And all the widows stood about him weeping, and shewing him the coats and garments which Dorcas made them.
40 Tedae Peter loh poengla boeih a tueih tih khuklu cungkueng doela thangthui. Te phoeiah rhok taengla mael tih, “Tabitha, thoo,” a ti nah. Anih long khaw a mik te a daii hatah Peter te a hmuh tih koe ngol,
And they all being put forth, Peter kneeling down prayed, and turning to the body, he said: Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes; and seeing Peter, she sat up.
41 Te phoeiah anih te kut a doe tih a thoh, Hlangcim rhoek neh nuhmai rhoek te a khue tih Dorcas a hing te a tueng,
And giving her his hand, he lifted her up. And when he had called the saints and the widows, he presented her alive.
42 Joppa kah tom boeih loh a ming la om coeng dongah hlang te yet loh Boeipa te a tangnah uh.
And it was made known throughout all Joppe; and many believed in the Lord.
43 Te vaengkah khohnin te yet a om khuiah Joppa kah hlang pakhat maehpho Simon taengah puet naeh.
And it came to pass, that he abode many days in Joppe, with one Simon a tanner.
